I’m a co-founder of an Indian startup car rental company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ardorsys Technologies?

They’re helping us develop our product and deliver it to end customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ardorsys Technologies developed a data-driven web and Android app based on CakePHP and MySQL. We had an initial discussion about how we would develop the product. They helped us understand the scope of work and put together a software requirements specification (SRS) document featuring all the main points. They also helped us market the product and run a survey addressing its usability with end-customers.

After the requirements stage, they studied the product, its design, and the scope, and started the development based on milestones. They delivered a beta version in the form of a backend admin system with a distributed model view controller architecture, an app, and a frontend.

After we successfully tested the application, they started developing other modules. We then gave them other tasks for enhancing the system’s security.

I worked with five people from Ardorsys Technologies.

How did you come to work with Ardorsys Technologies?

A friend of mine had worked with them before. They presented their expertise in PHP, MySQL, and Android app development, and we discussed how the product needed to be designed.

How much have you invested with them?

We paid approximately $14,000–$15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them between October and December 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We first launched the product on the B2C market, but it didn’t gain popularity, so we moved it to the B2B market. Ardorsys Technologies helped us develop a B2B system within the same platform by extending modules and performing other tasks.

After we launched the B2B version, we had an increase in sales. We’ve delivered the product to corporate companies, which have integrated it into their workflow management. Overall, it was a nice experience. They helped us to grow by almost 30%.

How did Ardorsys Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

I would rate them a four out of five in this regard. I used a waterfall model to manage this project, as well as my own cloud tool, giving Ardorsys access to it. I know that they have a project management tool in place, which they developed themselves, but I preferred using my own system.

We communicated through chat and also met on a monthly basis. I guided them on the design and development, and they delivered code every month, which I tested personally. If I identified any issues, I would notify them about it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understand customer needs and deliver solutions. This was a key aspect when developing the product, and I really appreciated it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There will always be issues with the code. However, they should develop a process by which it can be delivered more smoothly. It takes us about one or two days to set up everything after they deliver code.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I would recommend potential clients to choose Ardorsys Technologies, but I’d advise them to finalize an SRS beforehand. We first developed the platform as a B2C product, after which we moved to B2B. It’s important to write specifications down and make important product decisions first.
