BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

BrightStar Care North Suburban Chicago is a franchise of BrightStar Care, providing part-time temporary staffing of nursing care. I engaged Ardito Creative in my role as owner and marketing manager.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Ardito Creative Enterprises?

We needed hyper-local content for our website, showing our engagement and success in serving our local market. Ardito Creative wrote regular content, including features on employees and customer success stories.

What were your goals for this project?

Goal was to increase visibility and awareness of our local BrightStar Care office.

How did you select Ardito Creative Enterprises?

I met Jim Ardito through local networking activities and saw examples of his work. We discussed at length my goal for continuous development of new content for our web site. I had hired some other contractors for short-term trial projects, but Jim was the most engaged to understand our market and the message we wanted to communicate to our customers, partners and prospects.

Describe the project in detail.

Ardito Creative had primary responsibility for creating new blog posts and other web content updates on services and staff. In my role as the director of marketing, I would sometimes provide Ardito Creative with rough draft content or outlines for sequences of articles or posts. Before posting, content would be proof read by either myself or another marketing representative of BrightStar.

What was the team composition?

As the marketing manager, I was the primary contact for the duration of the engagement. There was occasional input from other marketing staff.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Quantifying the results of web marketing can be elusive. Anecdotally, I would often hear from prospects and partners that we had a lot of good content on our web site. We also tracked some increases in web traffic which correlated to the timing of new posts. This tracking also allowed us to identify posts with higher engagement and adjust future posts to increase site traffic.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was simple through email and occasional in-person meetings. Ardito Creative was always very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We hired Ardito Creative largely based on unique writing style to engage readers. Their writing was consistently engaging throughout the duration of the engagement.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Jim could have taken a stronger leadership role in suggesting new topics or areas of interest.
