Detox Pro 2 (Detox Pro Diets and Plans)  is a relaunch of Detox Pro 1. This version has had a complete overhaul of the UI/UX as the original app was released back in 2011. The app is designed so that people can choose and carry out a detox plan for a set number of days.

The detox plans are all cleverly thought through based on extensive expert experience and as such has specific action points that the app

ensures you perform each step at the right time and record your actions too. So with this in mind we developed a task completion system that tracks your percentage completion for each day and the overall completion and also the push system that alerts to every meal time with the recipe details.

VANR - The Ultimate Logistics App

The VANR App is a ‘live’ courier delivery phone app that instantly connects customers with the nearest ‘man with a van’. This can be for any purpose and at any time utilising an integrated GPS system. VANR provides a very flexible and easy to use and understand app for all the modern day users. With VANr’s extensive network of self-employed owner-drivers the app allows the customers  to send or receive items

Holid8

Holid8 is an app thats been produced with an amazing USP. With dating apps being all the modern thing to do holid8 makes it easier to find the love of your life while you are away but you can start chatting with them before you have arrived in the resort. You simply enter your holiday destination and then see who will be there the same time as you are. You then just see who you like and start matching!  

GEOBIZ

GeoBiz is a app targeted at travelling business people to enable them to make new connections with a view having more success. Networking is most effective among like-minded businesspeople that are actively looking for new products and services, which those attending the show will be. After its launch GEOBIZ quickly partnered up with many large organisations including the Business Show that helps maximise the

chances for networking to convert into a customer.

We were asked to provide a full branding and design service for the client.  We had to make sure the name and logo stood out form the crowd while at the same time ensure the UI/UX was simple but intuitive.

Based on our concept, Appy Monkey created our branding, logo, color scheme, and strapline (a statement that summarizes the essence of a company). They then delivered a website and a mobile app. Our system remembers customers’ previous orders, so they’re more likely to make us their constant supply partner. Appy Monkey also created flyers and business cards.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Customers have left great feedback so far, which has helped us surpass our business goals these first few months. Specifically, they love our branding and the ease of use of our app and website.

We met in person many times during the project, and we’ve continued to do so after the project ended. Mike always shows us how to better position our products from an SEO point of view.

I’m the co-founder of a small startup that provides a dating solution to people who will be on holiday in the same place at the same time. We provide users the opportunity to make connections whilst abroad with ease via our unique technology.

We hired them to spec out and develop our new holiday dating app concept. This included setting up a microsite, creating a database, and designing the UI/UX [user interface/user experience]. We've also taken up a service agreement with Mike [Managing Director, Appy Monkey] and the team to continue to support the platform during its launch and beyond.

What were your goals for this project?

We required an app with unique and detailed features from concepts we had come up with in our planning phase. These included an interactive messaging system, a smooth and professional UI/UX, and an effective use of geolocation features. We also wanted an app for both iOS and Android, which Appy Monkey easily accommodated.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

My business partner had heard about Appy Monkey from a friend that had recently done an app with them. We also searched on Google and created a shortlist but after meeting with Mike and another member of his team, we were very confident that we had found a company that could swiftly deliver.

From the beginning, we had very quick responses to our queries and received a detailed quote equally fast. Out of the three companies we approached, they were by far the most enthusiastic and forthcoming with ideas on how we could improve our concept from the outset.

Mike and the team suggested relevant programming languages that would be most effective for our requirements. We provided examples of designs, colors, and concepts, which they developed and improved.

Appy Monkey created a detailed wireframe and mockup of the app for us to approve. They were responsible for delivering the UI/UX screen designs, a microsite, a backend user system, developing the app, and getting approval for both the Apple and Android app stores. They also went above and beyond in assisting with our marketing strategies on a consultative basis.

What was the team composition?

The team was comprised of a project manager, a UI/UX designer, a team manager, and three software development engineers. We worked closely with the project manager to give feedback during our sprint reviews and testing periods.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What outcomes or results can you share that demonstrate progress and/or success?

Appy Monkey delivered a very aesthetically pleasing, powerful application that has met our standards and beyond.

Based on the quality of communication between us and the project manager, we were able to identify potential issues quickly and efficiently which resulted in the project being delivered on time. It allowed us to demonstrate a working version of the application in order to secure more funding from various exhibitions and trade shows.

My experience with Appy Monkey so far has been absolutely fantastic. It was a big step for us to come up with an idea and act on it; Appy Monkey gave us the confidence, reassurance, and guidance necessary to deliver an awesome product. They continue to support us as we prepare to launch and we're about to enter into a maintenance agreement with them moving forward. Their continued support to us in invaluable.

How effective was the project management?

Mike was absolutely fantastic from the beginning. The entire team was just as enthusiastic as we were, which inspired some fantastic design/development concepts for the finished product. The communication was also brilliant, with regular updates in between. They also worked round the clock in order to meet deadlines.

Mike showed a real understanding of our goals from the beginning and worked as if it was his own project, which was invaluable and gave us great confidence in an industry that we're not all too familiar with. We mainly communicated over Skype and Teamwork.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I really think that their enthusiasm and clear and effective communication during this project made it a success for us. I would never have expected a company to take so much care and interest in what it is that we're trying to achieve as a small startup.

Other companies we approached took far too long to get back to us, making it seem like we were just another project to them. While Appy Monkey did have more than one project going on, we were never made to feel as if we weren't a priority.
