I am the CEO & Founder of the first Polish B2B ecommerce platform for the FMCG industry. Our goal is to help drive the growth and efficiency of the FMCG sector in Poland.

We’ve wanted to develop a new kind of an ecommerce platform, focused on B2B entities from the FMCG sector. We’ve wanted to build a reliable and secure platform that could handle hundreds of big transactions each day.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were searching for different partners and Appverk was the most helpful in explaining what we needed to do.

They built our e-commerce platform from scratch. Once we’ve launched the platform, Appverk has helped us with the maintenance and further development of our website.

Appverk has dedicated various people to our project, including developers, Project Manager and an Account Manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Thanks to Appverk's commitment, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback on the application. We’re very happy with the final results.

The whole project has been managed in a very professional way - we had a dedicated PM who was responsible for day-to-day communication. We had regular meetings during which we were exchanging feedback. They’re excellent and exceeded our expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their passion really stands out. They comprehensively manage the timescales.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For the first time ever, no!

I am the Brand & Digital Marketing Deputy Director of a Refinish company with over 40 years of experience in the industry, having 10 production lines, outputting to over 50 countries across the globe - Western and Eastern Europe, New Zealand, the Middle East, and Africa.

We have contracted them to help us with a number of projects - the general goal was to help us digitally transform our company, with the focus on the growth of our business and our clients. They have helped us to develop, among others, a marketplace platform, an online loyalty program, an interactive kiosks system, a sales support app, as well as a number of our corporate websites.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose them through research. We were convinced by their vision and professional approach - they did also stand out in terms of great and friendly communication.

We initially had calls during which we described our ideas and collected feedback. Appverk gathered a team of project leads, business analysts, designers and developers to provide us with feedback. Appverk was involved in making business and technology decisions as well as delivering a result. Their team suggested all of the technologies for the solution.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

APPVERK has assigned a fully dedicated project team to each of our projects. Depending on the project, we’ve been working with Project Managers, Account Managers, UX & UI Designers and both with the Front-end and Back-end developers. What I find impressive is that APPVERK employees only senior level developers and designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We’re quite impressed from a business development perspective. It’s not often that we find a tech team that wants to know so much about our business idea and revenue streams. Their curiosity helped us when we started discussing technical challenges, what problem we were actually trying to solve, and how we wanted to make money through the platform. Overall, they’re a good and competent team.

They are very skilled in terms of project management. We’ve successfully completed several projects and went through various stages and APPVERK managed the project very well. Communication was good, and they were transparent. Their team really worked to understand how we work. They were very flexible and always eager to adapt in order to help and suit us. It’s been a very positive engagement from a project management standpoint. We had regular meetings where the cadence depended on the part of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

APPVERK really cares about helping to find solutions for their customers. They’re flexible with us and mindful of how we want to work. When we’d present ideas, their team was good at explaining other solutions that may be more effective - they were always going the extra mile to find the most effective solution. They were good at having those conversations and explaining why we might want to go in another direction. At the same time, if we come to them with a good idea, they are always on board. Listening and working collaboratively is surely their strong suit.

I'm a Business Development Manager at a Software Development Company from Austin, Texas.

For what projects/services did your company hire APPVERK, and what were your goals?

As we were building a custom software tool for one of our Clients and we've needed to extend our capabilities in terms of back-end and front-end development.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As we were searching for potential collaboration partners, we knew that it would be difficult to find someone who could complete the project in the given timeframe. After coming across Appverk, we did get a very good impression of them, and we've liked the way they suggested we collaborate.

We provided a few limited ideas and code structures, but they started the web development with the use of PHP frameworks. As they worked, they gave us feedback on how the web architecture works and a user’s point of view.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had two full-time developers working on the project, one part-time project manager, one part-time QA specialist, and one person reviewing code plus we were in touch with the Head of Sales.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The quality of their work is really top-notch, so I was trully satisfied. Even though our timeline was very ambitious, they were able to complete everything on time without sacrificing quality.

Project management was very well organized. We had weekly calls to align on the project’s progress and to determine if we needed more daily database communication. I always felt that the project was very well handled and we always knew what challenges we might face.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Although we had an idea of what we wanted, they had their own ideas and were proactively making suggestions. I felt like our goals and ideas for the project aligned well.
