Appscrip and Railjul Sharma made promises in an effort to get us to pay more-the project was originally suppose to be for 25k and delivery in 4 months- Almost 2 years in and over 100k spent we are left with broken code and the app is no longer working-We have tried several timea to have Appscrip turn over the code to new dev team hired, but Appscrip and Rahul are not cooperating-
They are not responsive and have left us with empty promises and code that was never documented from the start- making it almost impossible to have a new team come in-I wish i had read all the reviews about this company before hiring them- My advice to anyone considering Appscrip- Run!

Yes. I don't speak English and that can be bad, because sometimes a perfect understanding between the parties is not possible. I think that creating a channel with AI for automatic translation of conversations will help communication a lot

Yes. Be careful with communication, if you don't speak English, like me. Be very clear about the rights and duties of each company

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With them on an Onlu Fans and Cammeo Clone product ready, they installed the software, but even though it was white label software, even the original features weren't working, that's when I noticed something strange.

They created a Trello Project to work on. And all the bug fixes always came back with errors. I noticed that the new functions hadn't even started yet and there were still bugs. Even though they always promised to meet deadlines, I noticed that they were far from what was agreed upon.

This May I warned Project Manager Santosh and the Company's CEO that they should allocate more developers with more time dedicated to the project, at this rate I knew it would not end, but nothing changed, always the same statement that it would be completed on time. After 50 days of the contract, almost nothing had been done, there were even errors in the white label script that had not been corrected, and no new functions were ready.

They asked for more time, and I believed in the company and agreed, until in January 2024, I realized that they would not finish the work.

In conclusion, I paid almost 15 thousand dollars to AppScrip, I had several expenses with photo shoots, until a large in-person event at the end of December with several influencers, specialized media, the most renowned content creators, but on the day, 3 months after the deadline the script did not work and for example the agent and reels functions were not even presented. I was certainly deceived, it was calm and premeditated

• Describe your project management.
  • The project management conducted by Appscrip was problematic from the start. They used Trello to organize and track the project's progress. However, the management was ineffective, with constant delays and an inability to resolve issues definitively.
• Did they deliver the items on time?
  • No, they did not deliver the items on time. Despite constant promises to meet deadlines, the developers failed to deliver both the basic functionalities and the new ones. After 50 days into the contract, almost nothing was completed, including fixing errors in the original software and implementing new features like the "agent" function and "reels".
• How did they respond to your needs?
  • Their response to my needs was inadequate. Despite repeatedly alerting Project Manager Santosh and the CEO of Appscrip about the need for more developers and more time dedicated to the project, nothing changed. Bug fixes always came back with new errors, and the new functions had not even started. 
    
    By January 2024, it was clear they were not going to finish the work. Additionally, during a crucial event in December, the script was not functioning, and the new features were not ready, causing significant losses.

In summary, Appscrip's project management was deficient, they did not meet deadlines, and they failed to meet the project's needs and expectations, resulting in an unsatisfactory experience and significant losses.

They have a good website, they show evaluation seals, they show a lot of script clones, they show photos of the CEO at events, they show names of work carried out, and they always communicate well. But it's just talk, the real work doesn't appear

Are there any areas for improvement or something Appscrip could have done differently?

Yes, they have to commit to doing the work and delivering it on time and not always beating around the bush saying it will be ready, high expectations, other expenses. They didn't deliver the service, and they didn't even deliver the script. 

I paid more than USD 14 thousand dollars in 8 months, I held a very large in-person event in Brazil for the launch of the product where almost 20 thousand dollars were spent, with space, specialized media, several influencers, renowned content creators in Brazil, and not I was able to launch the product because it wasn't ready, that was December 17th, 3 tables longer than the promised deadline.

Worst of all, the image of my company and my partners was extremely compromised, we promised a revolutionary website that would be better than only fans, and we delivered nothing. I had a financial loss of more than 25 thousand dollars and a moral loss due to the loss of my brand and my partners, incalculable, as the biggest influencers in this market were at the local event

Words cannot express how I feel. We have never recorded more than 200 downloads within 15 months. Less than two months after launching this app, however, it had 1200 downloads. Our average rating was more than four stars.

Their team was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. They didn't complain or ignore messages, they gave me a solid timeframe, and they replied at the best possible times. They ensured that I was satisfied, even on the weekends.

I'm the CEO of Day Runner, an on-demand delivery service that hires delivery professionals to ship items within a matter of minutes. It’s as easy to use as a ridesharing app. I've been an independent contractor for over ten years. I created my technology to address common issues for drivers from ridesharing platforms and independent courier companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Appscrip?

I sought out tech companies that could develop my app idea. When customers ship an item and the car delivering it breaks down, it quickly finds a replacement driver with a similar vehicle. Upon arrival, they take on the delivery to get the customer their product with minimal downtime.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Appscrip designed and developed the entire mobile app for both iOS and Android. I requested unique features like a membership level and a referral-based level that lets drivers earn commissions for referring other delivery personnel. I made other adjustments to traditional ridesharing apps to give drivers extensive support for staying in business when issues arise.

What is the team composition? 

I worked with Rahul (CEO, Appscrip) and his team of developers.

How did you come to work with Appscrip?

I found them via a Google search along with many other app development companies which I narrowed down to 3-4 choices. I called each one to discuss my project and asked for examples of apps they’d developed that were publicly available. Since I didn't know how to upload apps to the App Store, I wanted a team who could handle the entire project. They gave me several referrals to speak with. I liked the work they'd done, so I decided to hire them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March 2017-December 2017. It took about 8-10 months for the app to meet my requirements. The timeline we anticipated got extended because I kept adding new features.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered a reliable product that significantly exceeded my expectations. When they finished the app, I presented it to several investors who I hoped would contribute capital. It looked amazing, the quality was excellent, and we raised a lot of money. When I started recruiting drivers, the caliber of the app I was bringing to the marketplace was the main reason they signed up. 

Thanks to Appscrip's deliverable, my company was legitimate and professional in the eyes of potential employees. I was very pleased with the results. Like every other app, we consistently work on fixing bugs and adding updates. I would rate the foundation of what they created at 90%. My in-house team who works locally touched it up a bit by making tweaks and additions.

How did Appscrip perform from a project management standpoint?

I really appreciate that I can contact the CEO whenever I want to. He's very responsive and readily available. We discussed the timeline for new features over the phone. Whenever we reached a new benchmark, they'd send me the current iteration of our app via TestFlight. I could use this program to test it out. 

They might have been in the beginning phases of their company during our first project. They've developed four different apps for me at this point and finished the following ones much faster.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I most appreciated the relational level with which Appscrip conducts business. I was nervous about my first time sending money overseas but feel very comfortable with them. The way they respond makes it feel like I'm working with a local team. Appscrip’s flexibility earned my trust and was a key factor in our partnership's success. 

They initially requested half the total but accepted 25 percent upfront. Every time we reached a quarter benchmark, I sent an additional tranche. Appscrip amicably agreed to this payment method, which meant a lot to me. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish they'd had project management tools. Using one could have helped us stay on track. In the beginning, we didn't set up project management tools. It felt like we were building our companies at the same time, so I understood the delays. 

The workflow is smoother and more connective now they have a larger team. Appscrip is much more responsive than they were in the beginning. That would have been my advice back then, but they're in a different place now.

Set up the workflow so you can track the team's progress. Seek out input and request weekly or bi-weekly updates or meetings. Appscrip is very flexible. Feel free to reach out to them with questions or concerns. They'll address any problem right away.

I am the owner and sole proprietor of SalesPaddock. We’re an app for buying and selling horses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Appscrip?

I don't know anything about making an app, so I needed a tech team to be my partner and help me with it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The app is for both iOS and Android. People who buy horses also sell horses, so it needed to allow the same person to do both functions. They came up with a creative way to do that: to clone it like Airbnb. You needed to be able to chat within the app and you needed to be able to save favorites. I had very specific demands that I wanted sellers to be able to send alerts to buyers that have saved their horses. They were the initial features in the app that I needed to put in. They took my idea and went with it.

What is the team dynamic?

I've been in contact with about 5 people from the company, but I think there were more people that worked on the app.

How did you come to work with Appscrip?

I Googled how to build an app and I started researching on what I needed to bring to an app company, the things I needed to look for, and the questions I needed to ask when I was interviewing companies. I narrowed it down to 2.

It's scary when you're trying to put your money out there. When I spoke to Appscrip, I got on the phone with the owner, Raul. He was excited about my project because what it could also do for his business. He had all of these ideas right away that it excited me even more. To have somebody be as excited as I am about what I was doing was important to me and that's why I went to them.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $10,000–$50,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

I've been working with them since July 2016. The app has been completed, but I'm constantly coming up with things I want to do with it. They're working on some new features for me right now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They make sure the app stays running and there are no crashes. People are happy with it so they've done great with that. We had a little blip with the new iOS update. They were on top of it and fixed it within 2 days. They had it all back on track very quickly.

How did Appscrip perform from a project management standpoint?

They've been great. We had some up and downs but if I had a problem, they would fix it. Whenever I needed something, they always met my needs and a lot of times, they exceed my expectations. 

I've been very happy with the communication. We mainly communicate via Slack and Skype. For a while, we would communicate daily, even on weekends. I usually speak with them in the morning just because of the time difference and because I have my list of things in the afternoon. When they're not working on a new feature for me, we communicate at least once a week. If I reach out to them, they always respond, even if they just let me know they're working on something and they'll get back to me.

At first, the time difference was difficult because I had to reach out to them early in the morning. We talked about this, and it was addressed. Now, they stay up later. I still have to contact them in the morning so that my account manager is on. We all have to make compromises. If they are there, they'll get back to me even if it's later because we work all hours as entrepreneurs. At first, I was a little worried about it, but since we've worked out the kinks with everything, it hasn't been a problem.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They never tell me no. I don't know anything about apps. I don't know how to make them, but if I can dream it, they figure it out. They might have to sit around, see how it's going to work, and how they're going to implement it, but they've never refused any of my requests. I love that because as somebody who has these ideas, you just give it to somebody, you trust they're going to take care of it, and they do every single time. It's been great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had some communication issues at the beginning which we've talked about and now it's been great. They are always willing to work with me. I don't have any complaints at all right now. We are a year and a half in and it’s getting better every step of the way.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I came with a plan. They then came back to me and told me what I should do. I don't know if that's necessary. They helped guide me through the whole thing. If you are somebody who is just not sure about the tech stuff, they will take the reins and go through it for you.

What challenge were you trying to address with Appscrip?

We needed outside web developers to help increase our application’s speed and quality.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They enhanced our dispatch system’s backend architecture to maximize its compatibility with our geolocation matching technology. They worked according to our hybrid database structure, using MongoDB, MySQL and Redis. The server side was PHP.

Main development concluded Spring 2017, but the developers still work on smaller improvements and bug fixes. There are other potential projects planned.

There were approximately 6 engineers working at a time.

How did you come to work with Appscrip?

The team’s previous work stood out from their competitors. Their capabilities impressed me, which I used to determine that their price met our goals.

The main development work started November 2016 and ended Spring 2017. However, the relationship is ongoing.

The enhanced application generated significant growth because the new technology allowed us to scale thousands of users on our platform.

They’ve done a great job. The team delivers quickly, always providing the information that I needed. We communicate daily or every other day on Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their combination of price and quality is hard to find. In regard to coding, they’ve been the most professional and reliable firm I’ve engaged. They really stand out from the competition.

There’s nothing negative that I want to say.

We needed help with the development of a mobile application for our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We decided to open a branch to establish Al-Jazirah e-commerce. We are currently building an application called Jaiecom, which is more of a lifestyle application.

Appscrip has an application called I-Deliver, which almost fit our needs, but we requested some customization. We're developing the application for both iOS and Android. We also developed a dispatcher, which works on the web. The backend was done using Node.js. We are hoping to launch it soon.

What is the team dynamic?

Shivangi [Cofounder and Chief of Support, Appscrip] has been in charge of the application from their side. They're very helpful. They take care of any changes we ask for, and we're happy with them.

How did you come to work with Appscrip?

We found them online. They already had I-Deliver in the market, and we liked what we saw. We wanted to add more ideas and customize it, which is what happened.

We've spent around $35,000 so far.

We began working with them in November of last year, and the work is ongoing.

The work has been good so far. They're uploading new builds for us to test daily and fixing any bugs along the way.

We were in touch almost every day, especially in the beginning. We also visited them at their office and saw how the work is done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Rahul [CEO, Appscrip] is making many changes to fit the standard, especially in the U.S., and they are doing things to enhance their codes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They're doing fine and their business is growing. I recently visited them, and I noticed that they've now employed marketing and HR teams and will soon have a management team as well.

When working with any development team, my advice is to make sure your requirements are very clear from the beginning. Any feature you want developed must have a clear description in order to avoid any confusion in the future.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our experience with Appscrip has been nothing short of a nightmare. A project agreed upon in January 2023 with a 2-month timeline and $34K USD budget has dragged on for over 2.5 years without completion. Despite full payment, they’ve withheld the source code and are uncontactable. We've had no choice but to report them to the police and initiate legal action. A disappointing and frustrating experience with zero accountability. Be very cautious before entering into business with them.

There was none, we're still wiating for responses and source code handover 2.5yrs later.
