Appic Softwares designed and developed Harmoni, an AI-powered emotional wellness and integration mobile application for iOS and Android. The project included product development from concept through launch, including UI/UX implementation, frontend and backend development, Firebase integration, user authentication, subscription/paywall functionality, admin controls, and App Store/Google Play deployment. Key deliverables included AI-generated personalized guided meditations, customizable onboarding, daily emotional check-ins, AI-powered journaling and dream interpretation, birth-chart-based astrology insights, audio and sleep content, community features, resources, badges and achievements, user progress tracking, and an administrative dashboard that allows us to manage app content and onboarding questions. The team also integrated multiple AI and audio technologies to create a personalized experience based on each user’s input and wellness needs. Appic supported us through development, testing, revisions, store submissions, and post-launch updates. Harmoni successfully launched publicly on both iOS and Android in March 2026.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Appic successfully took Harmoni from concept through full development and public launch on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. They delivered a functioning AI-powered mobile platform with personalized meditation generation, journaling and dream analysis, onboarding, subscriptions, user accounts, admin controls, community features, astrology, audio content, and other wellness tools. A major outcome was being able to build and launch a feature-rich product for approximately $12,500, which was significantly more affordable than the U.S.-based development estimates we had received. The project also resulted in a scalable foundation that we are now continuing to expand with additional AI, personalization, plant medicine integration, and B2B retreat features. Since launch, we have been able to onboard real users, collect product feedback, validate the concept in the market, and begin developing strategic partnerships around the platform.

They managed the project with consistent communication and were very responsive to my feedback, revisions, and changing needs throughout development. While there were some delays during the build, the team stayed engaged, worked through issues, and ultimately delivered a fully functioning app on both iOS and Android. What I value most is that the relationship did not end once Harmoni launched. Appic has continued to work with me post-launch to make sure the app is running properly, address bugs, make improvements, and support ongoing updates as the product evolves. At this point, I do not view them as a one-time development vendor. They are my ongoing development team, and I continue to work with them as Harmoni grows and expands.

What I have found most impressive about Appic is how personal the relationship has become. I feel comfortable bringing them new ideas, asking questions, changing direction, and working through problems with them because they are approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in the project. They have also continued supporting Harmoni after launch instead of treating the project as finished once the app was delivered. That ongoing relationship has made a huge difference for me. I honestly don’t have any major areas for improvement to point out at this time. Any challenges that came up during development were addressed, and the team has continued to be responsive and supportive even after launch. We needed a custom CRM for the company that would track everything. From when the call first comes in, and all the way to billing the client for anything that is done. We also needed to run reports on the CRM for all clients and other items similar to those.

Literally everything that we need for the company to run needed to be on this CRM. It took longer than expected to be completed because we kept getting more ideas as we went along. But their team had patience and continued to deliver on time.

We built the CRM in stages and as each stage was completed I noticed that they were able to deliver all the items that were talked about.

The first main step that needed to be accomplished was to make sure that the admin dashboard was created which was going to be the main hub for the owner to see all departments. Once that was created we focused on all departments dashboards for example the sales team had a dashboard in which they can see all leads coming in and take care of them.

Next it was the account managers which had to make sure that all the processes for each account are completed in a timely manner. Accounting department and HR department dashboards were also created.

Everything was created in WordPress, PHP, and custom plugins.

Total of 3 PHP developers, one main contact that was managing all the information and reporting back to me. 2 UI/UX coders.

Everything overall was delivered on time and all the extra items that were added by my team later on were delivered on time. Also communication was very straightforward and clear.

Skype was the primary tool for communication which worked perfectly because we would share screens. This made it possible for me to explain in detail what I wanted or for them to show me all tasks that they had completed.

Although we had a very good experience with Appic Softwares, they could have done a better job of providing more thorough training materials up front. Although they did provide training sessions, our team would have found the transition easier if they had provided more in-depth documentation or video tutorials, especially in the early stages.

As our company expands, we also hope to see more proactive recommendations from them for system upgrades or new features that could further improve our operations, but this is more of a future consideration than a problem with the current project.
