I’m the owner of a small digital marketing agency called New Wave Digital. We mostly do web development with about 80% being redesign, inception design, or new custom build. We also offer PPC and local SEO services.

Apex Web Zone has become a second set of eyes for a couple of our PPC accounts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Apex Web Zone helps us with the technical aspects of PPC. They’re focused on the client management side, and they also help ongoing efforts related to optimization, keyword research, and account setup. 

They mostly help us with one account. The account has been shifted to just a branded account. However, when they work on other accounts, it is mostly on the origination, and they are all through keyword research.

I have one main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Apex Web Zone?

I found Apex Web Zone either through Fiverr or another similar platform specific to SEO. 

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent around $5,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Apex Web Zone in April 2018. We still work with them on one account.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I think a lot of the results are due to the actual company because it is a branded search, so people are searching for their brand, in particular. It is more a reflection of the brand itself than Apex Web Zone. However, they are good workers.

Sometimes, they’ve implemented things that haven't gone well. We’ve had mixed feelings on strategy. However, that is just part of the QA process, especially with bidding strategies on PPC, like maximizing clicks, enhancing cost per click (CPC) or cost per action (CPA) to maximize the efficiency. 

How did Apex Web Zone perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through Skype. Apex Web Zone has been good with responsiveness, and they get back to me quickly whether it is urgent or not. They also do the work quickly. They have good discipline and send me weekly reports every Monday.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Apex Web Zone’s consistent performance is impressive. I know what to expect, and I can rely on their team for any urgent matters. They have integrity and want to do a good job. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There were times when they don't get the grasp or feel because of the cultural difference; they just look at the numbers, analytics, and keyword search volume. Because of this, their recommendations sometimes are not the best for the campaign. It’s not really their fault; it’s just that they don’t live here.

Apex Web Zone could also streamline the communication. To maximize the efficiency, they should get involved in a team collaboration software like Discord or any other app. 

Any advice for potential customers?

There’s nothing specific that someone who is looking for their services has to do to maximize their efficiency. Apex Web Zone is seeking opportunities and wants to do a good job. They don’t need to be treated differently than other agencies.

They set up the Google ads campaign and installed the necessary code to the website. They worked with us to guide us in selecting keywords and creating descriptions and headlines for the ad copy. Furthermore, whenever we had a question or needed an update made, they would promptly comply. Never had any problems or issues with the service and we worked together for nearly 3 years.

The client saw a steady increase in traffic to her website and the search advertising campaign was a success.

They often knew how to install website code or get things done when the client's own webteam in California didn't even know how to do it. They knew exactly how to get the set-up done accurately.

We were pleased with the service and would hire again.

Ankita was responsive, respectful, and able to work within the changing needs of my budget.

First Ankita built a campaign that would be successful for us, using key words approved by myself. She then launched the google ads and monitored progress. As my clinic changed what it was able to offer, Ankita built custom campaigns around these services.

When Ankita started the campaigns for us I saw a marked increase in bookings.

Workflow was smooth and response time quick.

I love the response time and how respectful they are with all of my questions. She is quick to provide answers and guidance.

After a few weeks the booking rate decreased. I wonder if there was something we could have done to improve this, or it could have simply been due to a slow down in the market.
