Yes, items were delivered on time. We are very Happy with Antino. Project management was not outsourced to Antino. We were managing the project internally.

Some of the developers left the Antino, in between the project. It would have been great if they had informed at-least 2 months before developers leaving. But I guess it was beyond their control.

I am Director of Engineering at Chefkart, headquartered at Gurgaon, Indian. We are in hopitality sector where we try to solve the problem of home chefs, chef on demand for private small parties, personal kitchen management, meal planning and grocery management.

We hired Antino labs for the development of Partner app of chefkart which was to be used by Homechefs who provide customer home cooked food. We need an application to track the homechefs like doing checkin checkout, manage their new jobs and provide updates on various service they are doing on daily basis. We needed an application built in flutter to support cross platform and flutter developers are pretty scarce in market as of now.

Antino labs was being run by IIT-Kharagpur alumni and my co-founders at my company knew them by their network and they have heard good reviews from the peers. Also on interviewing the candidate for our on-site projects, those reviews we have heard matched the expectation we had. Hence we decided to go ahead with them.

1 resource(Vartika) has been working with us since the last 1 year. However there were few resources that we needed for different basis on temporary basis in react were also provided by Antino.

Deliverables has been very high quality since the very beginning and hence we had decided to stick with Antino instead of hiring our own in-house resource. Whatever features were request were always delivered on time without any lapse.

Since the engineer is onsite, we normally uses our own project management style. However Antino do send us monthly TimeSheet of the employees that really help us evaluate the cost of deliverable. They also assign 1 client manager who really help us in case of unavailability of resource or absence or fulfill any adhoc requirements.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Fluter development skills was something extraordinary. Handling the complex UI in an app that started from scratch was really commendable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I can think of. We communicate to them whatever requirements we have in mind, and they make sure that it is taken care of.

We were looking for help with UX/UI design for our recruitment platform. We had a full-time UX/UI designer, but he was on break. We needed someone to continue designing our product.

We worked together from March–April 2022.

We had multiple stakeholders working with them, including project managers, a tech team, and some businesspeople. We got feedback from all of them, and it was satisfying. They met expectations.

How did Antino Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They were fairly good with communication. Also, they coordinated well with the stakeholders. We used Slack and onboarded them on our Jira. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the most important things to us was to get someone onboarded quickly. Antino Labs onboarded their resource very fast, so they did that well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing they could‘ve improved a little was the experience of their resource — she was pretty junior. Although it took her some time to ramp up, our designer was able to deliver things on time and to our expectations.

Have a good screening process. We made sure we were clear on what was required.

We are building our tech platforms to digitize transactions made at all the touchpoints during a service. The service industry has very little tech penetration and is riddled with inefficiencies. Our goal is to track and digitize all the steps in the service and make it standardized.

We found them through a referral from a fellow co-founder. Antino Labs had the deep technical know-how and were very prompt in providing us the support we needed.

We approached Antino Labs to get web and mobile (ios + android) frontends built for our platform. Being self-funded, our budget was tight, but we did not want to compromise on quality.

It started with a referral from a friend who had high praise for Antino Labs. The leadership at Antino Labs was from premier Indian Engineering colleges which added to our confidence.

We initially started with UX design that went for a couple of months. Then we started with web development using React.js and ios application development. A couple of months later, we also started with android app development. We followed an agile approach with daily stand-ups.

There were 2-3 developers (varying in some months) - of which 1 was a tech lead and another was a senior developer. A project manager was also assigned.

We currently are still in the development phase. As some of our requirements were evolving, we needed adaptive development with short deployment cycles - sometimes daily. The team at Antino Labs was very accommodating to be able to achieve that and were able to address any issues immediately.

We used an agile approach with daily standups using JIRA as a tracking tool. Since the team is in India and I live in the US, I use skype for communication and use the timezone difference to our advantage. Some communications regarding issues are offline during US evening hours. The team in India addresses them during their office hours and then we would sync up during standup during US morning hours 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team is very adaptive when switching between the tasks and generally are able to deliver in time with a bit of direction. The platform we are building is quite complex and has several features, but the team is able to accomplish them with minimal guidance during standups.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is a bit of language difference, but it wasn't a problem for me as I'm technical and was able to understand without any difficulty. There is little room for improvement in quality, some of it is attributable to evolving nature of requirements and pressing timelines.

We have seen more than 95% employee (1000 + employee base) shift from browser to App within 2 weeks of launch for daily transaction and 50% higher parental engagement on the App

I found their approach very transparent and solution oriented with constant communication ensuring there was no surprises. We had a daily 30 min meet with the team which ensured up to date progress and quick issue resolution. I found thier focus on getting a solution rather putting up 'this change will cost you you this much ' approach very helpful.

I found their focus on getting a solution rather than "this change will cost you this much" mindset, helpful.

I got to know about Antino through my friend. Among deciding factors, one of the most important factors is - their attitude of understanding the problem and come up with a solution.

Weekly meetings helped a lot in achieving the desired results. Antino developed App for Android as well as for iOS.

Currently App development is not finished, but with 80% completion I can say that - Antino Labs is doing a great job. They are very flexible with meeting times and also they understand that sometimes Client is not very clear with his/her expectations for App development, and at this stage Antino helps in manoeuvring the project towards expected outcomes for the client.

In one of our experiments, we wanted to develop a new Android App for our users to book a nearby vehicle. The user should be able to lock/unlock/start/stop the vehicle with our app. We aim to make the process of booking and using the vehicle very intuitive.

SOLUTION

We asked our LinkedIn network to refer an App development agency. Three of our very trusted contacts passionately referred Antino and they got an impressive portfolio.

Just in a day, we onboarded them after discussing the requirement and budget. We shared the PRD along with wireframes and designs. From the 4th day, their developer started working from our office with a remote team helping him from Antino's office.

They delivered MVP in 8 days. After thoroughly testing the app and satisfied with it we decided to completely outsource the maintenance and further development of the Android app to them.

As planned, we acquired 10K users in 2 months with 4.8 ratings in the google play store.

We included Antino's developer in our daily standups. He took the project management role for his remote team and started coordinating with them. As timelines are monitored with daily standups never there is a huge deviation.

They could work with macro details as they have sound developers with equally sound management skills.

If Antino had a strict regression testing practice it would have saved a lot of time for us.

Within 3 months, we were able to onboard over 10,000 users on this new platform who had nothing but praises for the app. We also were able to improve our app ratings from 4.1 to 4.5 during that point of time.

The entire Antino team was very responsive and would regularly schedule meetings to keep everyone appraised of the progress. We mostly used Trello, email and phone.

The cross-functionality of the entire team impressed me the most. They were able to deliver on anything from UI/UX to app development to backend engineering.

I just wish I'd found them sooner so that we hadn't made rookie mistakes on our platform development before them.

The application was a bit complex. It’s basically a health and fitness product platform. There’s a little complexity within the booking system, as well as with the online payment system, and with the online invoice generating system. There are many online elements that have to be compliant and to make the process effortless for the buyers and sellers.

We worked with Antino Labs (Antino Labs Private Limited), and we had 4 engineers on the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final project turned out really well. We thought it’d be really complex, and there were a couple of things we couldn’t pull off, but we’re really happy with the app. It was just what we wanted. There are a lot of complex calculations internal to the app. It needs a lot of brains to come up with the right numbers. I believe we were finally able to get everything right.

They have really experienced developers. I specifically appreciated one of their developers’ ability to take an idea from my mind and put it into action.

They are great at everything. If I had to pick something, it would be that they are super fast and they know what they are doing.
