Yogo Web Design
YOGO — a company that makes yoga mats and accessories out of eco-friendly materials in an ethical, transparent process — truly walks the walk when it comes to sustainability. They came to us with a goal of establishing a visual brand identity, defining key messaging, and revamping the look and feel of their website and packaging.
YOGO’s target audience was composed of a predominantly female group of urban dwellers, weekenders, and hardcore outdoor/environmental enthusiasts who weren’t just motivated by fitness, but by overall self-improvement. They wanted their brand to have a natural, laidback, and grounded feel that would resonate with this group. And while they wanted to highlight some of the technical and supply chain innovation that differentiates them from their competitors, they still wanted to maintain a little bit of playfulness.
With these goals in mind, we developed a brand identity characterized by earthy, saturated colors; hand-drawn illustrations to pair with technical info on their supply chain and materials; and a round, friendly sans serif typeface that worked just as well for headers as explainer copy. We chose a bold photographic style that leveraged mixed geometric compositions, vibrant color blocks, and pops of natural elements to stand out from the crowd. Because YOGO frequently collaborated with influencers, we also created guidelines for an alternate style that could be more easily replicated at home.
We brought all of these elements together in the website design, where we balanced a seamless shopping experience and detailed explainers on their materials, manufacturing process, and environmentally-friendly practices with a light, breezy feel.

Vessel Brand Photography
Vessel Health is a company on a mission to help people feel, perform, and live better with the help of their wellness trackers. Their subscription product allows you to regularly test your nutrition levels at home, view health reports on your phone, get a customized wellness plan, and track your progress along the way. After consulting Vessel through the initial rebrand process in collaboration with the creative agency Ammunition, they still needed creative direction for their brand photography before it was ready to launch.
We chose to do a series of body portraits that would help represent specific health goals in the Vessel app (like fitness, focus, and sleep) and be versatile enough to leverage across multiple channels: their website, advertising, social media, and most all other brand placements. They wanted a timeless and minimal look that was aspirational yet also approachable.
To embody this feel, we knew the cast would need to be relatable to and representative of their target audience. When it came to lighting, we wanted the photography to pick up on the natural highlights and shadows of the body while also conveying vibrance and energy.
Our background transitioned among three brand colors that lent themselves well to overlaid copy and graphs, which we knew would figure heavily in the design of the app and website. The final images we chose were expressive, optimistic, and candid. We caught moments that were genuine and natural — a must for a company that offered such a personal service.

Sandy Web Design
Sandy is a freelance management platform designed to help companies find, manage, and pay teams of expert freelancers all in one place. They reached out to us to help design the talent side of their SaaS platform and go to launch. We first worked on a UI style guide to help define their digital aesthetic and create a system that would allow the platform to be quickly made and easily scale.
Sandy was on a tight budget and timeline and was looking for a truncated UI design process to meet the realistic circumstances. We took their written content outlines and created templates based on grouped information before applying the templates across all talent user pages. The main goals as a talent user was to be able to create a profile, check on project statuses and get paid. Our design allowed these functions to be as easily accessible as possible with a simple and minimal layout, while adding some moments of delight through messaging and visuals.
The end result was an agile and modern platform that worked for Sandy’s limitations and future plans of expanding while still highlighting their people based approach and high-tech software.

Twitter Anniversary
Twitter celebrated their 11th anniversary by sending festive graphics to user feeds. We worked with the design team at Twitter to develop handmade, typographic numbers in brand colors. The 'Twitterversary' Project is an exploration of elementary materials thats primary focus is to create an aesthetic that is both fun and delicate, textured and seamless.
Brightly colored card stock, scissors and hole punchers form a sense of child’s play, while simultaneously delivering a sophisticated result that is digestible to the untrained eye. These kinds of devices are less common in today’s design world, where much of the art consumed by the public is created digitally. The reason why the end product was more than optimal is simple: we started with the basic art materials that make design so tangible in the first place.

Echelon Coaching Branding and Web Design
Anjali Joshi, the founder of Echelon Coaching, is an expert Agile Coach with a history of working for big names like Ancestry, Nike, and Salesforce. Agile supports team efficiency in bringing results, working in increments, and systems coaching focuses on the relationships between team members and the entities they belong to. Anjali saw an empty space in the crossover between the two. By merging the worlds of Agile and Systems Coaching, Anjali hoped to bring about the change that clients aspired to, but often failed to achieve.
The ask was to create the brand identity and messaging, including the logo and name, as well as the website, email templates, and presentation templates. Anjali wanted a brand that was instantly recognizable but true to her unique positioning, that felt equal parts compassionate and direct. Not only did she hope to accurately portray her business, but she also wanted to attract the right open-minded clientele with well-aligned values. .
Visually, we looked to design energized and dynamic elements without neglecting the professionalism and results-oriented value proposition of Anjali’s service. We drew from the metaphor of a bird echelon, flying in a V shape with shifts in leaders within the flock to maximize efficiency. Elements like cloud imagery and a geometric V in the logo gave way to a high-contrast, dynamic visual system, all embodying her forward-thinking, high-powered business model. Balancing this with a supportive and perceptive messaging, we were able to paint an accurate picture of “the coach who creates a new generation of leaders, change makers and people who embody change through their thoughts, words, and deeds.”

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Head of Marketing of a tech-health start-up in Munich. We develop innovative digital and offline solutions for cardio-vascular patients, starting with a reimbursable App for therapy adherence.
For what projects/services did your company hire Anastasia Salazar Ltd.?
Our website was quite basic and didn't follow any stringent design guidelines. It was more or less a mix-up of different styles which didn't seem quite professional.
How did you select Anastasia Salazar Ltd. and what were the deciding factors?
Based on the past projects, I was convinced that Anastasia would provide us with a state-of-the art look.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After some really helpful mini-workshops, where a variety of inspiration was shown and we could point out the general route of design, we went into the actual design. After the initial design, had quite regular follow-ups where our changes were taken into consideration. With a good sense of stakeholders' needs and creative power, we finished the projects in just three rounds of feedback.
How many resources from the Anastasia Salazar Ltd. team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total, we worked with two designers all along the way.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
As the website is still in the implementation, we cannot say much about it. However first user tests showed great success with the website being perceived as more professional, trustworthy and human.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project was led by clear and precise project management, having a fixed timelines yet allowing great flexibility.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I am surprised about the consistent and professional workflow and great art and design skills.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The time difference between Europe and the United States imposed sometimes a challenge, yet we found our way to communicate.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the co-founder for a spiritual wellness company. We provide the community with authentic, spiritually-sound products that promote holistic wellbeing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Anastasia Salazar Ltd., and what were your goals?
We hired Anastasia to support us with our branding and messaging. It started with just creating the logo, color scheme and other basic pilot necessities but it expanded to creating icons, website design, and more.
Our goal was to launch with a very strong, concise and clear brand that would capture the magnitude of our work and passion for spiritual wellness.
How did you select Anastasia Salazar Ltd.?
I knew Anastasia through community work. We crossed paths over ten years ago in youth programming and reconnected years later when our program needed revamping. She helped update the logo and gave the program a new look.
Add an extra few years after that, I left the program and decided to launch my own family business and immediately thought of Anastasia.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
We started by having a few calls to discuss the general branding and vision we were going for. Then we did a discovery questionnaire together where she asked very in depth questions about the energy of the brand. She facilites a brand workshop and then created an initial directions slide where she showed us two very different styles.
Each direction included a logo, logomark sketches, a color scheme, tag lines, voice and tone, typography, photography, and additional illustrations. After selecting our direction we had a brand guidelines meeting where we reviewed all the details of the brand to make sure we are consistent across platforms.
After that we decided we wanted to expand to working on creating a website. Anastasia helped design the website, created tabs based on our needs, gave us a direction for the photography, and more. She really went above and beyond. She created illustrations for very specific things like herbs that really made the brand stand out.
Overall, every step and deliverable was met with so much love and intention.
How many people from the Anastasia Salazar Ltd. team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with Anastasia for all of our branding needs and she pulled in a writer to support us with the messaging piece and content for our website.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The outcome was incredible! We received amazing feedback from the community. Within the first three weeks of our launch we got almost 8 thousand followers on instagram. Companies have reached out for collaborations, pop-ups and more.
Overall, the most meaningful success has been the amount of people who are shifting their perception on our spiritual practice and learning about the important of spiritual wellness.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had weekly check-ins with our brand designer, Anastasia, along with monthly meetings via google hangouts. Additionally, we communicated over email regularly and they gave us frequent updates.
For each step, they asked for feedback and implemented it very quickly. She always met any deadline and finished the project based on our discussed timeline.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
So much energy, love and creativity was poured into this project. Their enthusiasm and consistency in the entire duration were impressive. What I appreciated the most about Anastasia is that she was very open-minded and eager to create something that really fit with the brand/aesthetic.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When she created my website she had a very professional and iterative approach to the design, gathering feedback from me the whole time, so she could deliver the best final product. She was very receptive to feedback and really wanted to deliver an exceptional site for me. The whole process was fun and collaborative, and my website looks amazing. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs to create a distinct and polished brand and website.
