I'm the COO and Co-Founder at NeoCoast, a web and mobile development shop that serves clients all over the US and Canada. We started providing our services back in 2016 and are a team of 24 as of now.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ananá?

When we launched back in 2016, we bought a template for our website, which did his job for a couple of years, but we needed to bring our own identity to it. That's when we decided to hire Ananá to design it from scratch.

What were your goals for this project?

We aimed to have a really nice and clean website as the main presentation card of our company.

We actually knew them beforehand, as they have done some design work for some clients we provide web development too, so we already know they were great at their job.

We had a couple of meetings for them to get a grasp on what we wanted the outcome to be, as well as what we needed to communicate to the outside world through our site. After that, they moved into a budgeting phase, which ended up working for us, so we moved forward. They then worked with us on a couple of iterations for a couple of months, and in the end, we got the high fidelity designs and animations, which looked awesome.

We worked directly with Ananá's founders.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a success for sure! We got from them all the assets we needed in order to go and code the site, which is now live and we love it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was great. We used Slack as the main communication platform and ran a couple of Zoom meetings when needed. They are really responsive which was awesome.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The outcome was impressive. We could not have imagined a better-looking website like the one they designed for us,.I'd say their skill level is out of the roof.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There's always something to improve on every company, but in this project in particular I'd say they did a perfect job.

Juggling normal constraints of being a service company will forever be a challenger. They do this really well but its something to always keep an eye on.

From there, they brought suggestions on how the mobile app could be more intuitive and user friendly. They also worked to streamline the user journey. They produced iterations, incorporating my feedback and findings into the final version.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I’m very pleased with the deliverables from the team. The UX/UI serves as the foundation for the app I’m now developing. Their work perfectly reflects the vision we had at the start, helping us create a user friendly and easy to navigate mobile app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We had regular Zoom meetings. Everything was delivered in a timely manner and I was kept in the loop throughout the entire project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I felt that the team was equally invested in the product as I was. They worked truly as collaborators and were thought holistically and long term about the apps potential.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

This is my first time creating a mobile app so I did a lot of learning as we went. I wish I had a better idea of where the team’s job starts and stops so that I knew what was within their scope to ask for. Otherwise, it was a very positive experience.

Wonderful rebranding taking what's already done and improving the brand successfully. Creation of products end-to-end with amazing and highly professional results. Excellent at working with design systems already established and adding new functionalities to the product.

Amazing communication not only between our team but also with the clients. They're respectful and highly professional.

Very professional and all-around/full designers. They are capable of building amazing designs while working with teams and clients, quickly adapting to the process. Very reliable managing clients and setting their expectations, as well as capturing their ideas. They provide well thought and solid designs based on UI and UX standards, making them key assets in every team they work with.

They found the solution very fast, and this is something we tried to solve with other companies before and it didn´t work.
