First we had the kick-off with Assil and his team, during this session we went over our existing materials, the strategy that will be implemented and the challenges we might face. We worked with 7 individuals in total: a project manager that was our main point of contact, an ads strategist that was responsible for the overall strategy and 4 ads specialists managing and monitoring our campaigns across the 5 countries.

The campaigns was a success as we reached 112% of our goal for the 6 months of launch. We were able to build a mailing list from the campaigns that also allowed us to send some email marketing campaigns to drive further sales.

We had weekly meetings to review the customized dashboard they created for us and to go over the optimizations points that were going to be implemented based on what works and what didn't

The amount of time they spent upfront to show us why we should work with them. They put a lot of skin in the game prior to our commitment. We also would add that they are extremely data-driven, and most of their decisions are based on the numbers they have shown us.

The translation part into each country's language for the campaign was a bit tricky however it was not a requirement for them to have the ability to work on the translation as well.

Detailed reports with stats were shared with us every other day, with a conference call at the end of the week. This gave us visibility into what was happening, how much money was being spent, what was the CTC, etc. As well as the details of what was working, what wasn't.
AMD Consulting had dedicated resources assigned for us to answer any questions we may have, anytime. The resources were also responsible for providing all the updates over a video call, where they'd share the stats with all the stakeholders. They make sure the customers are engaged and have given us complete control to measure and optimize the campaigns. At each step, we knew exactly how many people were responding, what was the total reach and was type of responses were coming in.

We had about 6 people working on the project with us. This included their Head of Operations, Head of Strategy, and the social media team. There were 2 resources from the social media team that were dedicated to our project and were available at our disposal round the clock.

The project helped increase our inbound sales by 15%, which was more than what we had experienced before with other vendors.

The workflow was extremely smooth. Meetings to start the week and share the plans for the next 5 days. There was great chemistry, amazing communication, the dashboard they used was of Data Studio, which made the stats very easy on the eyes and understandable for everyone.

Assil also personally helped me to set up a new CRM system on the capsule. The campaigns have been progressively improving and they have a tracking platform that is incredibly organised and easy to follow for not only me but also the clients which is much appreciated.

We were looking for a solid partner to support our business development efforts in order to have a steady flow of warm opportunities in our pipeline.

AMD found us through their own outbound efforts. They engaged with us mid 2020 and at the time I was already exploring similar services with other agencies. Following multiple discovery meetings with the CEO, Head of Client Development and BD Manager, we started off with a general kickoff meeting. We’ve now been working with AMD for just about a year. In the last year, they’ve generated over 20+ high quality leads in which we’ve solidified our ROI. Through their campaign efforts, they’ve generated ~450 total responses, with a positive response rate of 13% and 4% response for future business. The team possesses a deep understanding of their campaigns and consistently work to optimize their email copy, subject lines, and targeting, while also working to maintain healthy domain authority and sending reputation.
To date, we continue to maintain a healthy 45% average open rate on our campaigns and we see a steady 1-2 high quality meetings generated weekly.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We meet on a weekly basis to discuss campaign metrics and provide pipeline updates. The team is very flexible on communication and willing to adapt to my needs when I need to change or cannot attend a meeting. They are also strong with communication away from our weekly meetings when they need immediate feedback or information to provide to a prospect.
Any changes made to our campaigns are always run by me for approval and the team does a good job at justifying reasons for campaign changes and optimization.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of business growth and expansion for DataVinci. It’s a segment in the digital marketing space. We only cater to data analytics, conversion rates, optimization, and the entire dashboarding and reporting section of the digital marketing package that other agencies have. I take care of all the business scaling, business development, and growth segment.
What challenge were you trying to address with AMD?
We hired AMD to help us with setting up our sales processes as well as to guide us on how to scale our business and develop our business development strategy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The engagement was consultancy services to set up our sales processes. We signed up for a three-month contract with AMD. They reviewed what we currently presented in the market and then looked at our clientele and who our ideal clients would be, as well as how our business processes would be set up.
We had been handling this in-house, but we recently scaled up, hired more people, and expanded our operations. We decided to hire someone to help us with the sales process. With their guidance, we also hired our in-house business scaling team that could implement what AMD was suggesting. They helped us hire a business development team so they could teach them how to create a sales process and also guide them on how to take action on it.

We worked with two people from their team.
How did you come to work with AMD?
We found them through CommissionCrowd, and they pitched to us. The initial discussions started in September 2020. AMD was very consistent in following up with us and chasing us for the requirements. That consistent follow-up made us go with them.

We paid them about £6,000 (approximately $8,000 USD) in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2021 and just finished up the work in April 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were amazing. We have highly valued their involvement, and their strategies were spot on. Rather than having a very straightforward approach, they were very involved in knowing who we are, what would be beneficial for us, and what would work for us. AMD worked hand-in-hand with us, listened to our feedback, and evaluated what we were strategizing and if it was right or wrong.
We had been with them for almost three months, and this is the first week that we aren’t working with them. Our company is already missing them. It was really a five-star engagement. There was nothing to complain about.
We ran our campaigns with them, and we're already seeing a positive response in the second month of our engagement. We continued to benefit from their teachings, have leveraged what they guided us in, and have scaled on it. Our team launched our campaigns in the second month of the engagement and in the last four weeks, we’ve been seeing some good results.
How did AMD perform from a project management standpoint?
We met twice a week for one hour. They are very responsive to calls, WhatsApp in case of emergencies, or email. While they were guiding us through the sales process and what our mentality should be, they also set us up using various tools which were for our tracking system, management, and CRM; it was absolutely smooth and easy. AMD helped us do more automation.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were approachable and extremely proactive. Those were the most impressive qualities for us. We never got the feeling that we were crossing the lines beyond our contract. I never felt that they were cutting me loose or taking it easy. They were very well-organized.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re absolutely perfect. The engagement could’ve finished in 10 weeks, but they stretched it for an additional two weeks to make sure there wasn’t anything I came across that remained undone. After our engagement, if I had any doubts or if wanted something, they replied to me within 15 minutes.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just listen to them. If you’re signing up with them, comply with every prerequisite if you really want your engagement to work. They know what they’re doing, and they know the best way. AMD is experienced in what they are doing, and not complying with them will not put the efforts in the right place. Let them exploit themselves in your business so that your business scales better.

Assil and team helped us define and recreate our outbound strategy and approach to sales. The fresh approach helped us to create solid new leads and relationships that we did not thing were possible from a cold approach i.e. via emails and cold calls
