RokketMed
The main idea of this online booking app was to simplify the procedure for both doctors and patients to make an appointment faster.
In a few clicks patients could find the nearest clinics, check prices, select a required doctor, and schedule a visit.
Overview
RokketMed gathered both patients and doctors in one place to save up time spends on appointments. Users are able to browse over the closest clinics, manage the list of services and prices. Select desired clinics on the map and make an appointment to the most appropriate date. App also shares the basic recommendations about the treatments and procedures.

In the store you can search parts by brand, by category, as well as using other filters. Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of InnLogist, a trucking logistics app.
What challenge were you trying to address with AMCON SOFT inc.?
We had the idea to make some operational processes better in the logistics area but we needed more expertise. We were looking for someone to develop our trucking logistics app and provide consultation as well.
What was the scope of their involvement?
AMCON SOFT helped us create the business logic and architecture of the project. After making and testing some hypotheses, they developed the web page for us and the mobile app.
They’re still supporting the app, making it better, and updating it when needed. They used Python and a mix of technologies. They used machine learning technology.
What is the team composition?
We started with seven people including a project manager, a frontend developer, a backend developer, a designer, QA, and an SMM specialist. Now we have up to 20 people working on the project.
There are 5-6 resources for our web and mobile app. There are two frontend developers, one project manager, one SMM specialist, some QA, and some copywriters.
How did you come to work with AMCON SOFT inc.?
Some companies were recommended to me and we made a tender to them. I chose AMCON SOFT because they had better experience and logistics expertise.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent €500,000 (approximately $592,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2019 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project is better than other projects in the market. We’re testing the product with logistics companies now and they’re satisfied. We will be able to reduce expenses for logistics companies with this product.
How did AMCON SOFT inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate via phone, email, and visits to their office.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have good experience. We work together to make a good product and to make communication easier for logistic companies. AMCON SOFT is a good partner for us. We plan to continue working with them.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of BroadTeam, a company that creates software for the broadcasting industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with AMCON SOFT inc.?
We had just created the company and we needed to outsource the development of our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Since AMCON SOFT didn’t have broadcast industry knowledge, we had to explain our business and goals at the start of the engagement. From there, they developed our website and mobile app. We’re doing more technical software in B2B.
They did full stack development and we use those stacks to trigger some workflows. The challenge was that the software needed to work with a Windows application as well as a web application. They created the software, as well as a database in MySQL and an API, so the system can access all the data.
The team also developed players to take the video into the Windows and web application. They provided most of the technical backing for all of this. We had an architecture in mind but they were able to suggest a new architecture and how they’d like to do things to better help us. They did the back- and frontend development, while we did the design on our side.
They continue to help us with additional software and modifications.

We started with four people, but we now work with three developers.
How did you come to work with AMCON SOFT inc.?
We were looking for a company that wasn’t too big because we were a very small company. We looked at several companies and chose AMCON SOFT because we liked the way they interacted with us and we liked their previous work.

We’ve spent about €250,000 (approximately $290,000 USD) so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2017 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re very satisfied with the relationship with them. They showed us they can learn a new environment. When we have demos to do and projects starting, they will work late or outside business hours.
They didn’t just deliver the software but were always asking if they could do more or if we need additional help. We have a very close relationship with them now.
How did AMCON SOFT inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management has had a major point of improvement. At the beginning, they tended to keep the information for themselves to show they could do everything. Sometimes we didn’t hear from them for days. It’s much better now.
We created some Skype groups and we communicate on a daily basis. It’s improved the process. We now know where they are each step of the way.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re very happy with having them as our partner. They show daily that they care about what they’re doing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was a bit of a challenge with the language at the beginning but it’s much better now. Sometimes we have to spend a bit more time to explain technical things and to make sure they understand everything because of the language barrier. This is a normal issue with outsourcing. Since we’ve created the Skype groups, it’s much better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It helps if you can visit them after a few months in-person to debrief what you’ve done, what you’re going to do in the future, and how you can improve. It helped our relationship to be able to visit them.
