Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the creator of Activa Fisioterapia and we carry out all kinds of interventions that are always aimed at improving the physical-motor skills of the community.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ambiguo Design Studio, and what were your goals?

We need to give a fresher and more inclusive concept to our brand, which will generate a greater presence in the community, giving a visual impact and making ourselves known much more.

How did you select this vendor?

Thanks to the excellent work done by Ambiguo in the company of a relative, we became interested and immediately decided to start the project with them.

We started with a series of virtual interviews where they first explained everything related to the company, then I explained it, putting them in context that it was active and what I wanted to achieve with it. Then they generated a series of proposals where we were able to define the path we were going to follow.

Logo type, color range, typography, image design to use in social networks, t-shirt design among others. Later, when the final art was finishing, they gave me the presentation where I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

I worked directly with the two creators of the beginning who were both always in charge of the project

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The image of activa is generating great acceptance in our old and new clients, a bond has been created between the brand and them, making them feel proud of belonging to the activa team.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The meetings were virtual since we were in different cities and due to the pandemic, but this was not an impediment to develop the activities proposed by ambiguous, we had weekly meetings to expose the progress that they proposed to deliver. Excellent communication and punctuality for the corresponding deliveries.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was surprised by the way they take ownership of the project, making it their own and putting all their effort to successfully develop what was proposed in the meetings. In addition to his elegant and simple way of communicating with me, a too special treatment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think that at this moment I can't find anything to improve.

My name is Juan Camilo Gómez and I'm the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Abri. Abri is an online luxury furniture and décor retailer located in Bogotá, Colombia.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ambiguo Design Studio?

Ambiguo Design Studio has been a key partner and collaborator of Abri. We needed help developing our branding, webpage & social strategies. We are currently executing an still ongoing pipeline of activities and joint opportunities.

What were your goals for this project?

We are a digital-born retailer focusing on up-scale furniture and furnishings in Colombia. Our first goal as a company was that of creating our own brand identity. The aforementioned in order to generate security and affiliation from our potential customers. Ambiguo Design Studio curated all of our ideas and developed a robust branding and all the graphic universe for our brand. After this first milestone we start to organize a pipeline of activities and opportunities.

SOLUTION

How did you select Ambiguo Design Studio?

We selected Ambiguo Design Studio after an extensive investigation of Branding Studios in Colombia. We felt inclined towards Ambiguo from the first moment we saw their excellent work. It was a no-brainer for us and until this day we are extremely content with this favorable decision.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

The scope of our work consisted of mainly three (3) different phases. The first phase consisted on developing our branding, branding strategies and all of our graphic universe. The process for this first phase started with a survey and a series of virtual meetings in order to brainstorm all the different perspectives coming from both Abri and Ambiguo Design Studio.

After this Ambiguo Design Studio presented two different paths for us to choose were we wanted to lead the creative process for our branding. After a series of decisions and a handful of virtual meetings we finished our branding phase within 1.5 months.

Our second (2) included the look-feel development for our social media and all our social media strategies. On this phase we constructed our Buyer Persona and we also developed a deep understanding of our Customer Journey. On this phase Ambiguo Design Studio also designed our packaging and our first set of Social Media Content. We are currently working on the Phase 3 of our proyect. This Phase includes all our Ads & Marketing Strategies.

What was the team composition?

We have worked directly with Sebastian and Catalina that are the Co-Founders of Ambiguo Design Studio.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have received countless positive remarks from our customers. We went live on March 8, 2021 and since then the reception of our brand has been exceptional.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We are on constant almost daily communication with the team from Ambiguo Design Studio. We have virtual meetings at least one time a week. The workflow has been extremely effective. All the credit to Ambiguo Design Studio here because they have an extremely organized and efficient way of working.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed by their commitment, knowledge, their attention to detail and their exceptional work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are looking forward to seeing Ambiguo Design Studio grow. They are a young team with all the potential to position themselves as a leading Branding Studio not only in Colombia but in all of Latam.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ambiguo Design Studio helps me with the branding for my company. They’ve done designs like logos, typography, and personal drawing illustrations. They’ve also selected the color palette for our web page. In addition to that, they’ve taught me how to create infographics myself that I use everywhere, including my website and social media. They do everything I need, from regular illustrations to something specific for any creative area.

I work with two people from their team. 

How did you come to work with Ambiguo Design Studio?

I started searching for branding companies on Instagram and liked Ambiguo Design Studio a lot. I had a conversation with them, and they showed me what they’ve done in the past— I hired them immediately.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1,500. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2020, and they gave me their first deliverables in June 2020. I’m totally married to them and have worked with them ever since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The success of my brand is thanks to the great branding services Ambiguo Design Studio delivered. Everyone compliments me on my logo and branding, and I’ve recommended them to many clients. I’m really thankful for them, and I tell them that every time I can. 

How did Ambiguo Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

When we have a project together, we talk every week with the two members of Ambiguo’s team. If I have any doubt during that time, I can call them or send them a WhatsApp message. They’re always there for me and are very responsive. We have very good communication. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

For me, Ambiguo Design Studio is the best marketing company. I would give them a perfect score. When we started, I told them what I wanted for my brand, and they read my mind and made it real. It was something perfect for me — They’re really good. Their team is also really good at meeting deadlines. For instance, if they give me a 20 days deadline and I tell them I’m in a rush, they deliver it in 10 days. 

They ask questions and deliver what the customers want based on them. They have the ability to make everything that their customers have in mind become real. They know exactly what they want. In addition to that, their illustration work is really good. It’s easy to find typography or color schemes; however, to make a good illustration is not that easy. The person that does the illustrations is really good at it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything Ambiguo Design Studio could improve. I think they’re perfect. 

Any advice for potential customers?

When I started my brand, I was a little lost, but Ambiguo Design Studio has helped me find myself and what I wanted. A potential client needs to know what they want as a brand and what they want to show their end-clients.
