Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Ambient took care of everything, including organizing product listings, integrating safe payment channels, creating the theme, and starting our Shopify business from scratch.  Additionally, they helped with mobile responsiveness, automated emails for abandoned carts, and the setup of a blog area.  Following the debut, they offered instructions on store analytics and backend order and inventory management.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our digital products have had steady traffic and a good conversion rate since debut, particularly our investing reports.  The site is easy for our team to use without continual technical support, loads quickly, and looks fantastic on all devices.  Additionally, we received compliments from customers who valued how easy the checkout process was.

The staff at Ambient Infotech was always on time, communicated well, and was always prepared to take a brief call when necessary.  They followed our suggestions for enhancements without hesitation, worked in sprints, and met all deadlines.  Throughout the endeavor, their promptness made us feel like a valued client.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to strike a balance between appearance and functionality was particularly noteworthy; the website not only looks fantastic but also functions precisely as we need it to.  Performance, usefulness, and ease of management for a non-technical team were given precedence over aesthetics alone.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ambient Infotech could have done differently?

Our sole wish would have been for a more thorough handover guide following launch, rather than just a straightforward, step-by-step guidance for our team.  Nevertheless, their staff was always accessible for follow-up assistance, and they consistently provided prompt answers to our inquiries.

• At the stage we were in, our Shopify site had become... well, clunky. It wasn’t keeping up with our customer expectations or internal workflows. We needed a team to help us rethink the whole experience from storefront to backend. Clean design. Fast load times. Better support for mobile. And we also wanted to introduce wholesale functionality for our artist-partners without making the site feel like a Frankenstein of plug-ins. That’s where Ambient came in.

Ambient didn’t just take our wishlist and build blindly. They actually sat with us (virtually), asked smart questions, and really listened which is rare. They redesigned our entire storefront with a sharp, modern layout that mirrors our brand's tone: understated but intentional. Behind the scenes, they streamlined our checkout, added multi-currency support for our global customers, and built out a wholesale portal that’s made life 100x easier for our artist-label collabs. They also handled all the grunt work data migration, syncing with our shipping partners, and connecting analytics and email tools. It was a full-on Shopify revamp, top to bottom.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

About 5weeks after launch, the difference was night and day. Site speed improved noticeably, especially on mobile (which, let’s be honest, is where most people are shopping anyway). The checkout process became smoother fewer abandoned carts, fewer customer service headaches. And wholesale partners? They finally had a simple, clean portal to place bulk orders and track everything without pinging us at all hours. It freed up our internal team in a big way.

They were refreshingly on point. Every project says they’ll hit deadlines  Ambient actually did. Our PM kept things tight: clear timelines, regular updates, no disappearing acts. What I appreciated most was that they didn’t make us chase them for status reports or answers. When we flagged an issue or had a last-minute tweak, they jumped on it quickly. Honestly, the communication alone was worth the partnership.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They got us. That’s the simplest way I can put it. A lot of dev shops are technically solid but miss the mark creatively. Ambient actually understood the soul of our brand  the balance between clean visuals and utility and translated that into every detail. They weren’t afraid to push back when needed, but always in service of the bigger picture. It felt collaborative, not transactional.
