"They understand what must be done to be unique in this competitive market."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a co-founder at a travel market platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with AM+A Marketing & Media Relations?
We needed help with press releases and social media campaigns.
What was the scope of their involvement?
AM+A Marketing & Media Relations has been doing a lot of stints for us for the past years — from proofreading and press release writing to communicating with the journalists, writers, and editors. They help develop quality PR stories and outlets for our various partners and work on campaigns related to the UK-based media. Additionally, they handle our social media campaigns, the most recent one being a product ad on LinkedIn for one of our partners.
For this project alone, AM+A Marketing & Media Relations develops content based on real sustainable practices from the region we work on before promoting and communicating it to the target audience. We collaborate with them to determine the kind of message that we want to convey to different sets of clients. Then, their creative team presents the final plan to me, and I relay it to the client for their approval. Once approved, we conduct final inspections before the publishing stage.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with many of their resources in the past, but we only collaborate with three members from AM+A Marketing & Media Relations on this project: their CEO, a creative director, and a copywriter.
How did you come to work with AM+A Marketing & Media Relations?
I used to be the head of the Slovenian Tourist Board for the UK and Ireland. At some point, we were looking for a PR partner who could grow and develop our brand, so I specifically looked for a PR and media partner in London. I then met Frank (Managing Director & Co-Founder) and we clicked — he saw the perspective of the brand, so I was happy to hire his company as our media partner.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2020, and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've developed a number of successful projects with AM+A Marketing & Media Relations through the years, some of them even resulting in awards. Everything's always as it should be with their team. This particular project has just been awarded a six-month extension, as we managed to secure two bookings for our client and had them win the Most Respected and Sustainable Work award. We share each success with AM+A Marketing & Media Relations because they truly do their best to give what our clients want. I'd gladly hire their team again to work on any PR-related services.
How did AM+A Marketing & Media Relations perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through Skype, WhatsApp, email, and phone calls, while we exchange documents through Google Docs. Everything's straightforward and easy when it comes to collaborating with their team. We haven't encountered any complications despite our timezone differences — apart from having smooth communication channels, they've always been very reachable and responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
AM+A Marketing & Media Relations exerts a lot of effort and expertise to become the market leader for sustainable and responsible tourism PR and marketing — their understanding of the field has always been apparent. They’re also a highly creative team. They understand what must be done to be unique in this competitive market.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Due to the size of their company and the constant business development, there are times when we encounter time management issues. They could consider having a more exact line of reporting and communicating, especially with the volume of clients they're getting.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The most important thing is your project brief — if you tell them what you want to achieve, it’s easier for them to prepare for it and give you the best results. Additionally, you must also make an effort to foster availability, in case they need to communicate matters with your in-house team.
AM+A Marketing & Media Relations proven field expertise, coupled with their capacity to deliver marketable results, consistently results in successful projects and awards. They employ an effective and reliable workflow despite timezone challenges, paving the way for a well-sustained collaboration.
