I’m the general manager and operator of a jewelry store.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Altec Design - St. Louis?

We wanted to consolidate our ad programs and digital resources, shifting all those services to one provider we could trust. We tried several companies, both large and small, but none of them fit all our needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They scanned our website for ways to improve it, and they took over our SEO and PPC from some big national operations. They promote two websites for us, beginning with one in tandem with a bigger company. After they proved they could get better results, we switched all of our campaigns and efforts to them after about 18 months. The efficiencies and results were unquestionable.

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact, though we’ve worked with two team members directly over the course of our relationship.

How did you come to work with Altec Design - St. Louis?

We worked with another company who suggested them. We hired them for one of our sites and have used them ever since.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in 2013, and we’re still working with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After we put all our efforts in their hands, we had the best three years in the history of our company. Not all of that is thanks to them, but they do keep us in front of prospective customers. We’ve had three consecutive years of record sales and are spending roughly 25% of our previous budget.

How did Altec Design - St. Louis perform from a project management standpoint?

Any time we present them with a challenge, they come back with options for solutions. The key to their success is the speed at which they adjust to our needs. They have a list of suggestions whenever we meet, and always try to make the program better.

We meet with them 8–12 times a year to go over results and numbers with them. We work on things in-house that we would like to change and then work in tandem with them to implement new functionality.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their nimbleness and speed are both incredibly valuable. They always stay on top of new tools and frequently suggest beta programs for us to try. They react quickly and always keep up with changing technology.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m very satisfied with their work. There is a lot of competition, and we’ve had at least 20 companies come to us each year. No other company has convinced us that they will do a better job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go all in; they’re a good choice. They will tell you the best ways to invest your money and are very transparent about what different offerings will cost, and they constantly try to be as efficient as possible.
