I work as a Project Manager at stealth startup, a no-code/low-code platform that empowers individuals to create customized cloud-based software solutions without needing to write a single line of code. Our platform is primarily focused on serving the education industry, helping schools and universities streamline their processes and provide better services to their students.

As a Project Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of various projects for our clients in the education industry. My role involves collaborating with our cross-functional team of developers, designers, and quality assurance specialists to ensure that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Our company hired Alphabin Technology Consulting for their QA and Automation testing services. We needed to reduce our release time and establish a mature QA process throughout all stages of our software development lifecycle.

We've evaluated several potential vendors based on a number of factors, including their experience, technical expertise, reputation, and cost-effectiveness. After reviewing their portfolio and speaking with their team, we were impressed by their track record of success in providing QA and automation testing services.

Their expertise in implementing test automation frameworks, as well as their experience working with similar projects to ours, made them stand out from the competition. Intially we agreed on the POC, and they delivered it very nicely, and during that period they worked very collaboratively with our team.

They took the time to understand our unique needs and requirements, and provided us with regular updates on the progress of the each phase of testing. Hence we decided to move forward with them.

The project was a complex no-code/low-code cloud app designed for the education industry. The software aimed to streamline the processes of overall engineering. The project went through several stages, including:

Planning and Scoping: In this initial stage, we worked closely with them to deliver the requirements..

Design and Development: Once the planning stage was complete, we moved on to design and development. They have worked closely with our team to design and develop the software application using a no-code/low-code platform. We had regular check-ins to ensure that the development was in line with our expectations.

Testing and Quality Assurance: As the software application was being developed, Alphabin Technology Consulting established a robust testing and quality assurance process. They created a suite of automated tests to ensure that the software was functioning properly and was free from bugs and errors.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Improved Efficiency: The software application developed by us was tested thoroughly by them and it has enabled us to automate many of the processes involved in managing our configurations and templates which resulted in time savings.

Tasks that used to take hours to complete can now be done in minutes, freeing up our team's time to focus on other important tasks. Faster Release Time: Alphabin consulting's testing and automation services helped us to achieve a 60% faster release time for the software application. By automating the testing process, we were able to identify and fix bugs more quickly, resulting in a faster time to market for the product.

Cost Savings: The use of a no-code/low-code platform, combined with Alphabin Consulting's expertise, helped us to save costs on development and maintenance of the software application. We were able to achieve our goals within budget, while also providing a high-quality product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Alphabin Technology maintained open lines of communication with our team throughout the project and worked very closely with our development and platforms team to ensure that the software application met our needs and requirements, keeping us informed of progress, timelines, and any issues that arose. They were always available to answer questions and provide support when needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

1. Their transparency: They were always honest about their timelines and making everything clear by sharing MoM's regularly
2. Ability to deliver high-quality results within a tight deadline: They were able to develop and implement a complex automation framework for our platform within a relatively short timeframe, without compromising on quality.
3. Never cared about hours: They always did the work irrespective of working hours.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

One area where we feel they could have done differently was in the area of documentation. Although they have created all the necessary documents on our KB and they were responsive to our questions and concerns, we felt that the it could have been more comprehensive and organized. Despite of this we are overall satisfied with them!
