Luv'in the Revamp
Luv The Grub set out to combat food waste by turning discarded produce, that would otherwise go untouched due to appearances, into chutneys. The client felt they were not properly showcasing their products and the website failed to highlight the company’s impact, a content and branding refresh was needed.

Modo was hoping to commemorate their anniversary with a media piece. They wanted a piece that would accurately reflect the company's values, and place in the community, via rich storytelling.

Modo is a car sharing cooperative based in Vancouver, BC. I am the director of marketing and communications.
For what projects/services did your company hire All Purpose?
Modo has been sharing cars for a long time - 25 years to be exact. As a cooperative, we put people over profits, and for our 25th anniversary we wanted to build a storytelling piece that centred our members and their experiences.
How did you select All Purpose?
All Purpose had a proven track record in this storytelling space and in our initial conversations, they had the skill and understanding to refine our initial concepts into a workable project.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We began with a series of discovery meetings where we got really clear with project deliverables. After introductions to cooperative members who would participate in storytelling, All Purpose took over, project managing the interviews, filming and post-production, coordinating with us when necessary.
They were kind and professional with our members. Finally, we discussed final cuts and provided feedback, and got a variety of final products delivered efficiently.
What was the team composition?
The All Purpose team consisted of a variety of professionals who directed, edited, filmed and performed post-production activities. They were supported by the Modo marketing team.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were delighted with our video and used as the centrepiece for our summer social media campaign. It was successful in capturing press attention and led to a TV spot as well as other media.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was very natural and easy. All Purpose built a rapport with our team and took feedback easily and naturally. They also provided valuable feedback to us which elevated the final product.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
All Purpose is highly professional, creative and incredibly focused on using their talents to create impact. Their values-based focus allowed them to understand the project's motivations immediately and ensured success.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
Sometimes I wish we'd had more chances to check in or receive updates - due to the pandemic, normal meeting processes were disrupted and we could have used more regular information.
