Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Talespun, a product development company that provides software development, UX research, and product management consulting to startups and small businesses.


What challenge were you trying to address with Ali Aziz?

We hired Ali to provide UX- and design-based R&D for our end client. He needed to deliver wireframes, workflows, and UI process improvements for both mobile and web application development.


What was the scope of their involvement?

Ali looked at the existing platform and accompanying user requirements. He then created a new workflow sitemap and process by first completing an initial review with our team. With our go-ahead, Ali designed low-fidelity wireframes, which he would convert to high-fidelity versions after another round of approval. The client and our team would then review the high-fidelity wireframes.

How did you come to work with Ali Aziz?

Ali reached out and sent me his portfolio; we had mutual connections. During the initial interview, I appreciated his communication style and UX experience.

We spent over $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2017 and the partnership ended in February 2018.

Ali did a great job. We were able to move forward and close with the client.

Ali was effective and hit every deadline. He let us know about any potential issues with the scope or timeline. We mostly communicated via Skype.

Ali proactively anticipated client hurdles, especially for UX and research.

No, I can’t think of anything.

Communicate clearly and follow up on any requests that Ali sends in. The client needs to stay on top of the work as well.
