I’m an IT and maintenance manager at Prudential; we’re an insurance company. I’m responsible for overseeing our systems and new application and development projects.

What challenge were you trying to address with ALFA BRAVO?
We were going through a rebranding process, which included changing our colors, name, and other factors. While attempting to upload new images and rebrand our website, we realized our framework was outdated, so we engaged ALFA BRAVO to build a brand new site.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, we provided ALFA BRAVO with preliminary documentation and graphics. Then, they developed our website from scratch using WordPress, Kubernetes, and Docker. They integrated the platform with our CMS and other internal systems. This has enabled us to automatically display our pricing and details regarding each of our agents.
Additionally, the team has developed customized plug-ins to decrease the level of third-party interference with our website. They’ve built one plug-in to protect our agent data and another to manage documents and upload content. They’ve also implemented a search bar feature where customers can identify insurance agents based on the desired radius from their location. Since launching the new website, ALFA BRAVO has continued maintaining and updating our site.
After our initial web development collaboration, we asked the team to build an e-commerce shop and develop a new version of our portal for our agents. They‘ve built the portal as a web application for our agents to use internally. They’ve also created the e-commerce shop from scratch, which allows agents to purchase leads and cards online.
How did you come to work with ALFA BRAVO?
We initially found ALFA BRAVO through our procurement process.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested roughly $100,000 in the partnership with ALFA BRAVO.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with ALFA BRAVO in October 2021. They completed the website in September 2022, and they’ve continued supporting us as part of our maintenance team.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our marketing department would have a better idea of metrics, but we’ve been pleased with the outcome of the new website. ALFA BRAVO has created a fast-loading, user-friendly website that is easier for our marketing team to manage. The site has exceeded our expectations in terms of functionality, and we’ve received exceptional feedback from our agents and marketing team.
They’ve improved our security measures by decreasing the number of plug-ins, which is great. We employed a third-party firm to conduct a security audit, and they found no issues. We’ve been particularly happy with the search function they implemented; it’s been a useful tool. The website has also been really stable from a maintenance standpoint, which is great.
How did ALFA BRAVO perform from a project management standpoint?
ALFA BRAVO has managed projects brilliantly and communicated effectively with our business team. We’ve used the Agile methodology, and they’ve always delivered the requested products before each sprint. We’ve met regularly via Microsoft Teams and managed tasks in Jira. We’ve also communicated via email for more formal items.
We’ve greatly appreciated their strong software development expertise. We leaned on them extensively during the e-commerce development project, and they delivered. Working with ALFA BRAVO has been fantastic; I wish all our partnerships were like this.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve really enjoyed working with ALFA BRAVO; they've delivered impeccable quality work at a reasonable cost. We’ve been most impressed by the caliber of their coding and communication. We only found a few bugs during the testing phase, but nothing major, which is unheard of. They’re a very technically skilled team who has understood our business needs and communicated with our team effortlessly.
