What challenge were you trying to address with Aiderbotics Consulting?

We needed a developer for our mobile app, so we’re working with Aiderbotics Consulting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided Aiderbotics Consulting with Figma designs to show architectural renderings of the app. They’ve then converted these and wrote them into a specific programming language platform called Xamarin, which is owned by Microsoft. 

Their team has developed the app for Android and iOS and building it in a way that displays a lot of our pricing data, which is the main thing we provide as a data-driven company. The app will also be accessible with users’ login credentials and house functionalities to display news stories, events, and the like. 

Aiderbotics Consulting has completed the development and made numerous updates to it. However, we’ve needed to make constant modifications based on feedback and feature requests, so they are helping us work on that.

We are working closely with Hani (CEO & Co-Founder), who is also our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Aiderbotics Consulting?

We originally found Aiderbotics Consulting through Upwork. We decided to go with them since they know how to take on this niche kind of development.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent something in the $25,000–$50,000 range.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around five months ago, in September 2020, and they’re still helping us make modifications to the launched app.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have been pretty straightforward. We used to have an app that was pretty mediocre and we had run into a lot of trouble finding someone who could help us make it better and develop it in Xamarin. What Aiderbotics Consulting did has been fantastic and exactly what we had hoped for. I would rate them a 10/10.

How did Aiderbotics Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been wonderful about staying on top of the whole project. Frankly, they’re better than anybody we’ve ever worked with in the mobile app development field. 

We didn’t use any fancy tools; we simply picked the design and had them develop it into an app.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness and accuracy and the quality of their work are impressive. There are many different factors, but I would say that it’s not great to have a really fast and good-looking app if it doesn’t function well. Aiderbotics Consulting took care of everything under the hood.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any suggestions.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have your ducks in a row, and do not just come in with a theoretical idea of what you want to create. I would liken it to building a house, where you wouldn’t just go to a builder, you would also work with a designer. Find an architect first, and then approach Aiderbotics Consulting with a Figma design that’s ready to be programmed, because they can definitely put that into place.

I'm the CEO of ManageGo. Our app helps property management companies with day-to-day operations, such as rent collections, maintenance requests, staff communication, and more.

We wanted to upgrade our app, so we were looking for a vendor to help us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built a new app from the ground up. They added a lot of new features, updated the design, and wrote the new code. The app makes it possible to organize tasks into different categories, send notifications, and manage maintenance tickets. It also has a fingerprint log-in. In addition, they made improvements to the UI/UX design.

What is the team composition?

We work with one developer, who mostly works on-site with us.

How did you come to work with Aiderbotics Consulting?

I interviewed a number of companies that either responded to my ad or were referred to me. Aiderbotics Consulting seemed to be the best fit, so I chose them.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent between $10,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2018 and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They're real experts in mobile development and C#, so they've provided exceptional support on the backend of our web-based app and our mobile app. They're not only proficient with the code, but they know the science behind the code. They were able to figure out which parts of the hardware were causing problems and find a way to work around them. (Most software developers wouldn't be able to handle successfully a project that is a combination of software and hardware).

How did Aiderbotics Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven't had any issues. The developer assigned to our project worked on-site, so we interacted in real time and had daily meetings to discuss the best solutions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provide a very clean code on the first cut. Generally, if you build something, there are often bugs that you need to fix multiple times before the app actually works. The developer Aiderbotics assigned to us was a very meticulous coder and had great attention to detail. Throughout the whole development process, there was only one instance that an app crashed. That is very rare among developers. Also, their code is easy to follow, so we could share it with other developers on our team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything.

I’m the CEO and founder of Strategy Access Solutions. We support global medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and lab & diagnostic clients in the planning, generation, and dissemination of health economic evidence as well as in obtaining market access and reimbursement.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Aiderbotics Consulting?

We needed help creating a mobile application that allows sales reps to demonstrate to clinicians and hospital administrators the potential savings of switching lab tests to a new hospital.

What were your goals for this project?

The overall goal was to create a hospital cost savings app that would work across platforms and a web version.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We found them through UpWork and then conducted a phone interview.

Describe the project in detail.

Aiderbotics Consulting created a backend program that incorporated detailed and robust Excel economic models, CMS/Medicare data, and American Hospital Association data. Then they created an app that could be used for Android, iOS, and Microsoft platforms as well as a web interface.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with Hani (consultant, Aiderbotics Consulting).

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The end product was very well received, and the sales team finds it extremely easy to use. It's also quite popular with hospitals.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I worked closely with Hani to ensure the app fit our needs. Hani was always extremely willing to accommodate our edits and updates.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Aiderbotics Consulting came through with flying colors when there were extremely tight deadlines. Hani updated the app with all of the necessary changes in advance of those deadlines.

No, none.
