Introduce your business and what you do there.
Mulligan Funding LLC is an alternative business-to-business lender. We provide short-term working capital funding for small and mid-sized businesses across the country. I’m the CEO.
What challenge were you trying to address with Leap Clixx?
Until contracting with Leap Clixx, we had been generating leads purely by direct mail. We had done no online lead gen at all. When we engaged Leap Clixx, the two projects were, firstly, to redo our website completely with a view to using it for proper lead capturing and lead generation purposes; and then, secondarily, to get involved in more methodical SEO and organic search traffic through that new website. We had worked with an outside organization just to create the website which we had at the time. They didn’t take any responsibility or do any work for us in terms of SEO or paid online lead gen.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The creation of our website was a project which Leap Clixx basically project managed. I don’t think they wrote all of the code or created the actual website internally, but they’ve handled the design and development of the website in collaboration with us, which was incredibly helpful. We did not have those resources and that capability in-house.
Once the website was created, they engaged in two different things for us. The one was content creation. They took care of the regular publication of blogs to our website which fit very well with our positioning to our target audience. They published four blogs per months for a fairly lengthy period of time and the result was to create a lot of what I consider to be really terrific content on our website that allows us to direct people to it. It allows us to reinforce our positioning in terms of our market. They also began the process of taking care of SEO work on our website, keywords both in our blogs and on our actual landing and other web pages, and to assist us in trying to get our business ranked better for certain key search terms that are relevant to our industry.
Much later on in the process, they began a project of managing a pay-per-click activity for us. We’d give them a budget every month and they would then manage within that budget a PPC campaign to try to generate paid leads that way. In the process of all of this, we moved our website over to HubSpot, which allowed us much better ability to automate email, outreach to our client base and to track the leads and understand where our online lead gen was coming from. Our target market is national and it’s small to mid-size businesses across the country in all sorts of industries. It’s actually easier for me to list the industries we don’t serve rather than the ones we do.
How did you come to work with Leap Clixx?
We had just made the choice that we were going to move onto HubSpot and to subscribe for their services. After discussing it with some of the HubSpot representatives, I went on their website where they had a page, at the time, listing all of their authorized preferred partners. There were two different tiers of partners. There were ordinary partners and premier partners. I reached out to three or four of those, one of which was Leap Clixx and ironically some of the others didn’t even bother getting back to me. Leap Clixx responded to my contact submission form almost immediately. I spoke to Chans Weber, the CEO of Leap Clixx and just immediately felt that there was a good fit. I liked him enormously. He got what we were trying to do and understood our business and I felt very comfortable going ahead with them.
How much have you invested with Leap Clixx?
We spent between $10,000 and $12,000 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them April 2015, and we stopped the relationship in April 2017. We hired some in-house marketing staff over the last year or two. We also hired a high-level marketing person and we’re looking to build out their capacity and ability in-house. We feel like we need to manage this internally because it’s a core piece of our business.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
When we came across Leap Clixx, we were getting visits to our website in the low hundreds on a daily basis. We’re now getting 6,500 visits a month. We were generating no business at all online and we’re now generating approximately 15% to 20% of our direct business online which is a big change for us. We’re still sending out a ton of direct mail, that’s still a very key component of our business, but it has been a material shift over the last year particularly towards online generated business.
How did Leap Clixx perform from a project management standpoint?
Of all of the things that is praiseworthy about Leap Clixx, their service levels stand out to me. It was extraordinary. Their communication with us was fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I had interaction primarily with Chans, but the people who work for me in the marketing department had interaction directly with Amber Callan [Inbound Marketing Strategist] and she just could not be more agreeable or cooperative or willing to go above and beyond. They’re just terrific people and I never got the feeling that we were just a number in their lives. I got the feeling all along that we were an important client of theirs, even though in terms of spend I’m sure that’s not accurate. I’m sure they have far bigger and more lucrative clients than we were. We communicated mostly by phone and email. I met up with Chans on one or two occasions. He came here, I met him at the HubSpot conference. Whenever an opportunity arose for us to get together, we did, but they’re in the Midwest and we’re on the West Coast.
What did you find most impressive about Leap Clixx?
Primarily, the service levels. The fact that we knew we could pick up the phone at any time and get our needs taken care of. They were very transparent and communicative. We never felt like they were a huge machine and we were just a tiny piece of the puzzle for them. We always felt like we were someone important in their lives and the several levels of service we received were commensurate with that. Their approach very much aligns with our client relationship philosophy and so it felt like a great fit for us.
Are there any areas Leap Clixx could improve?
No, I don’t think anything realistically. I think there are things we understand about our business and about the intricacies of our client base that are always going to be difficult for an outside consultant provider to understand as intimately. I think that we’re always going to be better placed to do this ourselves than any consultant, provided we have the skills in-house to do it and we just weren’t at that point until recently. I think there is something fundamental about the consultant model that puts it at a disadvantage to an in-house capacity, but within the paradigm of a consultant model no, I think they were terrific partners to have.

Paid Search Marketing for Employee Culture Platform

We provide software to move your organization's core values out of the handbook and into your culture. Our online platform helps articulate and promote your vision and values to create stronger relationships, encourage team harmony, and boost overall performance. We engage and align your employees, measuring your culture with 24/7 analytics so you can make a difference.
I’m the head of global business development. I’m responsible for our online marketing campaign.
We are a new startup firm that is still perfecting our marketing and sales strategy. We are focusing on a large national marketing campaign to bring in initial B2B customers who want to align employees with company values.
Our target market is American businesses that want to improve employee satisfaction, lessen employee turnover, and generally make sure that employees are aligned with key values and the company’s purpose.
We originally were looking for web designers to give our company a public face and help craft our marketing pitch. We started by looking at the Hubspot directory of vendors since we use this platform.
We came across Leap Clixx and had an initial conversation with them and some other firms. They actually told us that they weren't a great fit for web design and had the best overall pitch. We decided to focus on Google Adwords marketing to gain an initial set of leads and contacted Leap Clixx again.
We decided to hire them for PPC [pay-per-click] management with a focus on Google Adwords. We don't currently work on SEO [search engine optimization] or web design but may go back to them in the future.
We have worked with them since October of 2016, and the project is ongoing. We were spending about $5,000 per month on advertising originally but went above $7,000 per month recently. We decided to grow our spend after some initial success.
Leap Clixx has produced some promising, measurable results quickly. We now have a lower cost per acquisition and a higher qualified lead rate. Their team communicates really well in regularly scheduled phone meetings. They provide a lot of helpful suggestions that we need as an early stage startup.
They are also very flexible with us on price because we have limited resources. They came up with creative ideas to minimize spend but still have a marketing impact. I have no major complaints to make.
They never miss deadlines or make major mistakes. We are also happy with their pricing structure.

SEO Campaign for Sign Company
"They’re very responsive, quick to make changes, and always available."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Landmark Sign Company is a full-service commercial sign company. We provide banners, posters, basic window graphics, lighted building signs, monument signs, pylon sign, LED message centers, vehicle wraps, trade show signs, etc. I’m one of the owners of the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Leap Clixx?
I know virtually nothing and don’t want to know about SEO [search engine optimization] and how people find me on the internet. I just know it’s vitally important to our sign business, as not everyone has a go-to sign company in their Rolodex. They’re looking for us on the web, and I knew we needed that kind of help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I can’t give you much in the way of specifics. Once it’s explained to me in a meeting, and I understand how it’s going to help me, I just say “go” and let the results drive whether it’s working or not. I know they redid our website and made it look better and more user-friendly. They gave us a mobile version of that as well. In that process, they did all the behind-the-scenes tagging, keyword optimization, and everything that was critical to accomplishing what we wanted.
I know they’re writing articles and putting links out there; I get reports on that periodically. Although I don’t understand everything I’m looking at, I’m letting the results dictate my satisfaction with what they’re doing. I see my rankings, and I see the improvement over where we were when we started. I can tell it’s working.
The content is not necessarily on my site. I guess it refers back to my site or somehow links my site up with whatever Google and other search engines are using to move us up the rankings. If I look at my website day-to-day from a user standpoint, I don’t see anything different unless it’s a change we’ve talked about.
They added functionality to the website and redesigned it to make it easier to navigate. It definitely looks a lot cleaner. When someone comes to the site, it’s more user-friendly and makes a better presentation with the pictures, images, and the way it scrolls through. We can upload new pictures of signs we’ve recently installed and categorize them. It’s a lot easier for us, and it’s a lot better for visitors to the site, as they can now see more examples of what we do. It’s easier for folks to see what we’re talking about when we’re trying to sell them on signs. Leap Clixx organized the site and made it a lot cleaner and easier.
I’m a fan of having three buttons that work well and let me know what I’m doing, rather than 15 buttons that are really cool. I think we've achieved that simplicity with what they’ve done. The inquiry function, for someone on our site who wants to inquire about how they get a bid or get someone to meet with them, seems to work fairly easily and smoothly. It works internally for us as we receive those requests to determine where they came from, what they are, and how we can disseminate them.
They interviewed me, and we talked about what they would do. We interacted initially upfront; then, they did some work, and we reviewed and discussed it. They made the changes that we agreed were appropriate. As things come up after the site was finished, they’re totally accessible and responsive to discussing changes and getting those up quickly. It’s been great.
How did you come to work with Leap Clixx?
I was talking with a friend and lamenting that I didn’t have confidence in what we were doing, the people we were using, or how we were going about trying to improve our rankings and optimizing our web presence. He suggested I talk to Leap Clixx. He’s a trusted friend, and I’m more inclined to take advice from someone I trust. So, I reached out to them and talked with Chans [Founder, Leap Clixx]; he presented things concisely and confidently. I felt like he knew what he was doing. I knew it was going to take some time to get results; however, the phone keeps ringing and business keeps coming in, so I know it’s working.
How much have you invested with Leap Clixx?
We’re probably doing $40,000 to $50,000 a year with them. It’s the majority of our marketing budget.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in May of 2013, and our relationship is ongoing.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Generally speaking, without pouring over the data they send each month, I know our visits, hits, and leads are all as good as or better than they were for the same month last year. For every period, our rankings in key areas are quite high. We’re number one in several of the key searches, product types, and things like that. For the size of our company, that’s excellent. It’s good to see us in the top three or five in a lot of key areas. We’re not going backward; we’re probably going forward.
How did Leap Clixx perform from a project management standpoint?
The only real project that I’ve monitored a lot was the website development, and that was great. They’re very responsive, quick to make changes, and always available. As for the stuff they do for us on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, I just assume they’re doing everything they say they’re doing. The reports and the results will bear that out.
We communicate mostly by email. It’s my choice to let them handle everything. I don’t want to be writing blogs, managing my keywords, and looking at all that. I don’t like it, I don’t understand it, and I don’t want to be doing it. I’m happy to have them doing it for me. They know what they’re doing.
What did you find most impressive about Leap Clixx?
We don’t interact on a ton of different things, but when I’ve had issues with hosting and such, they seem to know and are connected in that technical world. They offer good advice and support when we need it. If it’s a service that they don’t provide, they give me direction on where to get what I need. I feel like they know what they’re doing.
Are there any areas Leap Clixx could improve?
I can’t think of anything specific. The few times I had challenges, questions, or issues, it was because I didn’t understand and just needed clarification. They’re always very responsive. Clearly, they know a lot more than anyone they’re talking to, and it would be easy for them to have a sense of arrogance with that, but I don’t get that at all.

PPC Campaign for Design Company
"They give us much more than what they charge us. They’re considerate and thoughtful in the things they do."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of marketing at Custom Design and Construction. We are a custom design and build firm doing residential remodeling in a very small area of Los Angeles County.
What challenge were you trying to address with Leap Clixx?
I reached out to them with a need. We wanted to investigate what we could be doing to better utilize HubSpot, and how we should be investing in our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In response to our need, they suggested we run a test first and see what the true traffic is for our area, to determine if it made sense to invest the money. I really appreciated that they took the time to consider whether it was valuable for me to spend the money. The recommended that we run a pay-per-click campaign to determine the interest level in our very small area for our product, how much it’s being searched online. They found that it really didn’t make sense for us to invest money in doing anything else, so they advised us not to.
Our website was already significantly more robust than our competitors in the area, so we didn’t need to change it to surpass them. It was more about trying to have a healthy marketing mix. We do very well with other mediums and wanted to ensure we were on par with our online marketing. Their approach of doing that investigation first was really refreshing. In our case, it was even more money saved, as we found that the investment in our website wasn’t necessary. The pay per click campaign was only done as part of the research.
They’re the only company with whom I work. They recommended that I not invest all kinds of money in the website or some of the other things I had been thinking about, so I really just look to them for one-off updates. For example, we recently did some videos and wanted to make sure we got them on our website. I contacted Leap Clixx to design a page for it and get that on for us. Whenever I have a need, they’re the only people I work with at this point.
How did you come to work with Leap Clixx?
We use the HubSpot platform, on which Leap Clixx has a very high ranking. I reached out to probably the top ten companies on HubSpot, and I think they were number three at the time. I spent a lot of time interviewing all those companies. I was very impressed with their communication style and the way they understood what I was look for and what our goals were, so I chose to go with them. Their ideas were refreshing; they didn’t feel like the boilerplate response to an RFP.
How much have you invested with Leap Clixx?
It’s not much. I literally try to tell them that I should pay them more. I went from having a full-time person, who we paid about $25,000 a year and really did nothing for me, to paying them $5,250. In my mind, it’s next to nothing. Even when we did the pay per click campaign, they were very transparent about their fee and what we were spending on the advertising. They’re very transparent and very accessible.
What is the status of this engagement?
I believe I began working with them around May of 2016, and our relationship is ongoing.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
They’re very thorough. They take the time to understand our goals and make recommendations. For example, our president wanted to do some things with workflows that weren’t the way they intended to go. The people at Leap Clixx were very tactful and outlined what they recommended we do instead. They tried to protect us from spinning our wheels on things that really don’t make sense. That’s how it’s always been with them. Instead of just taking our money and doing things to our website, they wanted to first test the value in our market.
How did Leap Clixx perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve done a great job in all aspects of our relationship. I feel they’ve gone above and beyond with us. They give us much more than what they charge us. They’re considerate and thoughtful in the things they do.
Are there any areas Leap Clixx could improve?
I’d love to be that person who can give a helpful critique, but I really don’t know what they could do. I deal mostly with Amber [Callan], who’s the project manager. I have a great relationship with her, and I have full confidence in her. I dealt with another person initially, when I was first interviewing the company, and I just really like their approach. I like that they were so transparent with what was possible or not possible for us.

Inbound Lead Campaign for SaaS Solution
"They’ve certainly adhered to the message that we wanted to put into the market."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Infoplus Commerce is a SaaS [software as a service] company. We develop warehouse management software, which is sold to retailers, wholesalers, and third-party logistics companies that need to run fulfillment and get products from point A to point B. We manage that entire process. I’m the vice-president of client solutions, so I sort of have control and responsibility over all things customer-facing: sales, marketing, implementations, onboarding support, and account management.
What challenge were you trying to address with Leap Clixx?
We’re an outsource solution, so it makes sense for us to heed our own advice and outsource the things at which we don’t excel. We try to run a lean ship, not unlike 99% of the companies that exist today. The challenge we were facing was generating inbound leads. We don’t want an outbound, cold-call sales force. In our minds, that’s not an efficient way to run our sales and marketing.
So, the challenge for us was finding good channels to generate those leads that come knocking on our door, versus us chasing down companies and trying to determine if they even have an interest in a software like ours. So, through that search, we found avenues around social marketing, pay per click (PPC), AdWords—those types of things. Sometimes, there are expensive but good channels for generating leads on the inbound track.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We essentially gave them full autonomy, with the goal of generating as many leads as possible with a given budget. We run a very good, new-age CRM [customer relationship management] for our sales management, and we gave them complete access to that. They generated a lot of material such as blogs and whitepapers. They sat down with us to understand our business, what we needed, and the value we brought to a lot of our customers. We had some case studies and different things like that already written and established, so they built on top of that.
Then, they created automated workflows within our CRM on the backend. They literally built out the entire backend—how we manage every lead that comes through. Then, they started running online PPC and Google AdWords. They manage 100% of that. We are as hands-off as it comes because we know what we’re good at, and running Google AdWords marketing is not one of those things. For us, being directly involved would only hinder the process.
In addition to 100% of our AdWords, Leap Clixx has access to our LinkedIn accounts as well. Social media isn’t a huge market for us, so they haven’t put a lot of effort into that. We had previously, and we got virtually nothing out of it. Right now, they’re concentrating mostly on AdWords, PPC, and content creation.
How did you come to work with Leap Clixx?
We interviewed four or five firms to manage this part of our marketing channel for us. We’re a St Louis company, and they’re based locally here as well, so they showed up on the list. We liked Chans [Founder, Leap Clixx] over there. He came in and sat down. We like to get a personal understanding of who we’re giving our money to, and they took that approach with us. We found them through a general search of the best local firms. We flew in a few out-of-town providers as well, but we ended up staying with Leap Clixx.
How much have you invested with Leap Clixx?
We’ve spent about $14,000 so far. That doesn’t include the spend that goes to Google for the paid advertising.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October of 2016, and the relationship is ongoing. The first couple months was really spent just getting to know each other and doing content creation. They needed to learn our business—what we think drives our customers to make decisions and things like that. They kicked off with running the campaigns in January.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?
Our client acquisition cost was roughly $27,000 per client before we started with them. This channel alone is blowing that out of the water. We are getting a few clients a month, and our average budget is only $4,000–$5,000 a month. We’re still landing clients well below what we would expect our client acquisition cost to be. They’re doing something right.
We had been writing blogs, whitepapers, and case studies for a year prior to engaging with Leap Clixx. They took a different spin on it, and I actually utilize the content they have in nurture marketing email campaigns that I kick off. They’ve certainly adhered to the message that we wanted to put into the market. It came across very well in that content. We continue to utilize it on a daily basis.
How did Leap Clixx perform from a project management standpoint?
That was one of the key factors that led us to Leap Clixx. We’d engaged with previous marketing firms. We needed a company that would come in and take charge, telling us what needs to be done. They’re the experts, and we’re the company that creates software, not marketing. So, from day one, they drove that entire process. We certainly have veto power if something is off-the-wall, but we haven’t had to exercise that right with them. We never had any questions about where things stood, what the next step was, or how we were going to get to that January 1 date ready to hit the market.
We primarily communicate by email. We trust them enough to say that if they don’t hear back from us, they can pull the trigger anyway. Just give us a day and then move forward. We’ll have a quarterly sit-down and monthly in-depth overviews. We get a great review from them every month of what’s working and what’s not. They’re constantly tweaking, throwing things out, and adding new messaging or search terms.
What did you find most impressive about Leap Clixx?
We’ve worked with other inbound marketing agencies. For us, it’s less about the results of the service, even though they’re far exceeding what we had previously. It was more about just being in the know. We’re not a large company by any means. With other firms, we ultimately fell into the trap of, “You’re only worth what you’re paying us,” and you get that level of attention. That is drastically different with Leap Clixx, and that is one of the main advantages of the relationship we have with them.
Are there any areas Leap Clixx could improve?
No, to be honest, they’ve met or exceeded our expectations to this point. Maybe I’ll have a different story a year from now, but I highly doubt it.

HubSpot and AdWords Management for Automotive Company
"They keep our advertising up to date and stay in tune with our team."

The client submitted this review online.
We're an automotive specialty company. I am one of the investment partners.
We needed to increase our sales through our website for automotive specialty products. We had a terrible experience with another SEM [search engine marketing] agency, so it was important to get it right the second time.
Leap Clixx does our AdWords and HubSpot marketing and a little bit of website consulting. They don’t do any SEO [search engine optimization]. They give a little bit of advice on that, but, so far, SEO has not been done.
One of the other owners came across Leap Clixx and decided to hire them. I'm not familiar with that process. We started working with them four or five months ago. We’re still working with them. We are having a meeting with them this afternoon to talk about developing our website to see if we can do anything else and maybe talk about SEO.
Leap Clixx has been great. They helped us understand what we needed and developed a focused plan to improve our marketing and demographic targeting.
They have been very proactive and never leave us alone. They keep us updated regularly and suggest ways to improve our targeted marketing program.
It’s hard to talk about results because it’s early on, but I would say they’ve done great, and I like the fact that they’re very aggressive. They have a sense of urgency. They’re always working on our AdWords, updating them, and working on them constantly. I can see the history, and I know they’re working on it. They seem to be really involved with our product. They keep our advertising up to date and stay in tune with our team.
They’re doing a great job. They’re 10 times better than what we had before with another group. They’re very attentive, responsive, and involved, and they keep us up to date. It seems like they’re always working on our AdWords and trying to help us.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the owner of Redesign Properties Inc., a real estate and design firm in Los Angeles, California.
What challenge were you trying to address with Leap Clixx?
We wanted to gain clients and develop a marketing strategy online.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started building a strategic website by using content, strategic pages, targeted keywords, and SEO [search engine optmization]. That was our overview strategy. Then we built the landing pages and focused on a couple of keywords. We subcontracted out all the technical aspects of the actual site, but Leap Clixx managed the project in essence. They took over after the platform that was built, tweaked the SEO and content, and set it up to grow. That was several years ago.
How did you come to work with Leap Clixx?
I knew Mike, one of the partners at Leap Clixx. He’s really tech-savvy and always on the cutting edge of Google technology. I knew he would have the mind we needed for marketing. I was then introduced to the other partner who’s a pretty business savvy guy. They seemed like a good team, and the pricing was good. It appeared to be a good fit.
How much have you invested with Leap Clixx?
I’d rather not get into the economics.
What is the status of this engagement?
I think we started collaborating with Leap Clixx in February 2013. They are still my consultants. I call them whenever I need to modify things or have questions. I look to Leap Clixx for their expertise.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Honestly, the website has been very successful. I can’t tell you the number of clients we have just because of a few keywords. If you go to my website and look at my project photo, I designed the office of H&M—a major retailer. That project was based on a keyword we focused on. Thanks to that keyword, H&M found me online and called me. It was huge for my company; that alone should explain the value that Leap Clixx brought. That’s just one of many projects that I can put on my website now. Every time someone else comes to my website, they see that I did that project. It gives them confirmation that we’re a serious company. Leap Clixx has really helped us out.
How did Leap Clixx perform from a project management standpoint?
Their [Leap Clixx] project management is great. Leap Clixx has all the cutting edge technology, so everything’s scheduled. They’re on top of things. When they say they’re going to do something, they do it. They pull out all the stops for you, and they’re very professional.
What did you find most impressive about Leap Clixx?
They seem like a company that works with people who are accustomed to special attention. Leap Clixx provided me with the feeling that they were giving me a special amount of attention, which I thought was great. I always appreciate that in business. It’s marketing, so you never know if you’re going to get your money back. But clearly, it’s paid me back. I don’t know what else you can ask for.
Are there any areas Leap Clixx could improve?
I’m sure there is. I don’t want to answer that since I don’t want to hurt their feelings.

Our firm does a lot of domestic divorce work and I wanted a separate web presence from our existing website that dealt with personal injury. I gave Leap Clixx the domain name “Gateway Lawyers” and they created gatewaylawyers.com, did a bunch of SEO, and also pay-per-click work.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We retained them to build a website and help us get it ranked. I’m not familiar with how SEO works, but that’s what we paid them to do. We started this about three years ago, and it took 90 days to get the website up and running. Once the website was complete, they started to work on SEO. They had a little bit of input in the form of articles and graphs from me to approve. They gave me input on what they think gets the best response rate, what works and what doesn’t.
How did you come to work with Leap Clixx?
A social media consultant that I knew referred me to them. I had interviewed three or four local firms for the project. They impressed me the most by far. They really understood the ins and outs of closing deals and sale cycles.
I spent a little time meeting with them and found them to be great guys. They have a much better business sense than just your average web guys. A lot are good on the creative side, but don’t understand what it takes to close deals. I think they understood that a little better than their competitors.
How much have you invested with Leap Clixx?
It was well under $10,000 a month.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work or the impact of the engagement?
It took about six to nine months before we really started to see some results in terms of the SEO and where we were ranking. They told me that it would take maybe 12 months. The problem is that personal injury is the most saturated and expensive market to get into online, so I knew that was going to be a challenge. That’s why we incorporated the pay-per-click along with the SEO, to get something out of it while we were waiting to get ranked organically.
When I first started the campaign, I maybe had 40 open personal injury cases. As I sit here today, we have about 250, and those roll over every 12 months. We’ve quadrupled our intake.
How did Leap Clixx perform from a project management standpoint?
The project was pretty seamless. Their response rate, at least responding to emails, was within the hour. I have both their personal cell phone numbers; if I’ve ever needed anything in a pinch, I just call their cell. I’ve never had an issue with that.
What did you find most impressive about Leap Clixx?
They’re local, which was important to me. If I want to drive down to their office and talk to them personally, I can do that, but I rarely do.
Are there any areas Leap Clixx could improve?
For me, no, not really.
Leap Clixx improved online lead generation significantly, and it is now 15% of business. The team was service-oriented and always kept an open line of communication. They prioritized the needs of the client no matter the size of their spend.
