I'm the founder, owner, and operator of Xava, and I specialize in providing website design services for businesses in Ireland.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Agency Couch?

I was looking for a partner that can develop websites and implement marketing solutions for B2B clients. I'm a WordPress developer, and I’m doing the work mostly myself. I realized that to grow my business, I would need more partners. I chose the outsourcing route so I hired Agency Couch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

My association with Agency Couch is based around WordPress development. We have done everything, from the visual development of the frontend to the technical development of the backend. We've even helped some clients integrate AI-based chatbots on their websites. 

Agency Couch also works on SEO development, PPC management, digital marketing, and web design. We help businesses grow online. 

What is the team composition?

I work with 3–4 people at any given time. 

How did you come to work with Agency Couch?

A trusted friend in Dublin recommended and put me in touch with Agency Couch; we all shared the same heritage and spoke the same language. 

How much have you invested with them?

I have spent close to €45,000 (approximately $54,000 USD) so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2019, and our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

My delivery rates have gone up since I have worked with Agency Couch, because I now have a partner who can take on project development. I have more accurate timeline projections and a shorter turnaround time as a result of our partnership. Further, I've been able to get more clients and long-term customers, instead of the one-off website design projects I used to have. It's been a positive association in terms of KPIs.

We’ve been able to invest in our collaboration. They have helped my business grow in the two years that we've been working together. My relationship with them has grown from being just a contractor to more of a partner — we collaborate at a much deeper level in providing services to businesses. We are working on a shared future together.

How did Agency Couch perform from a project management standpoint?

The good thing about Agency Couch is I don’t need to worry about project management. One of the reasons I was looking for a partner was because project management isn't my forte; my expertise is in business development and sales. I've been able to offload and delegate project management to their team. 

I used to work with a supplier that didn’t handle project management, and I spent a lot of time on individual projects. My ability to find new deals and clients was thus limited. With Agency Couch, as soon as I inform them that a client already approved a project, they will start working and deliver it for me. I don't have to worry about managing them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I have worked with a number of providers in the past, and Agency Couch stands out as they understand my reasoning and what I want to deliver to my clients. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything at the moment. We are trying to develop a much deeper relationship, and I'm sure we'll find out a lot more in the future. So far, everything has been good and I have nothing negative to say about them. 

I'm able to talk with them directly and openly, and communicate any problem. So far, our issues had been minimal, and I can't even recall anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They're very open to having free lines of communication and speaking directly with the client. I would advise hiring them because they have the skills to deliver on a wide variety of projects when it comes to B2B digital marketing.
