Our old system allowed customers to send us images for us to work on before sending back. It logged all interactions and allowed us to create basic invoices. We'd been using the system for around 4 years and it was in need of a serious update.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a cost effective solution for a fairly complicated build. We'd previously tried developers in Asia but with little success. We often found that cultural and language barriers were causing serious mistakes and time delays that slowed the project to such an extent that it would of been cheaper to hire in the UK. As the owners of Vnited are both from France this was a nice bridge between Western and Asian working styles and it allowed us to create clear goals so everyone in the team understood what we are after.

We'd previously had a Joomla system but, as we were rebuilding from scratch, the guys recommended moving over to Drupal. We started off creating the designs (We did this side of things and then worked off feedback from them) and, once everyone was happy, they moved onto the build.

We had one dev and one project manager working on the build.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've a more simple and stable system with only a handle of minor bugs since release (Which have all now been sorted). The updates to the invoicing system have saved us 10-15 hours a month while the customer automation makes the management of our business considerably easier and has allowed us to scale.

The team uses Slack and Trello to communicate. We were assigned a project manager who gave us regular updates and who made sure everything kept running smoothly. We were delayed a little due to an issue with a developer (Out of their control) but they were honest and kept us informed as it was happening. This allowed us to adjust to the updated timeline so it wasn't an issue.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really did work hard to give us the site we wanted. For someone who's a little obsessed with details, they went out of their way to accommodate.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall they've done a fantastic job.

Our last website was about 5 years old and not really mobile friendly. It was slow and hard to maintained or even try to add new feature to it.

We searched online and found Vincent. After interacting through emails and phone calls we knew he was the one to create our new website. We went through what we were looking for, even provided some examples of what we liked and didn't like on different websites. He listened very closely and was attentive to the details where he understood what business we wanted.

Once we provided details and examples of what we liked and didn't like, Vincent went to work and a few weeks later he then provided a review link. From there we made minor changes where Vincent made without hesitations. What he provided was amazing and what we were looking for.

We always worked with Vincent only. All emails and phone calls were with him.

I noticed that after we launched, it did not take long for google to pickup the new site which I think was about 3 months and we started getting inquires. We kept the original site online to make sure we did not lose any clients.

Most of our communications were done by emails with a few phone calls. Email responses were very fast.

I found Vincent very professional and provided fast responses. They were also very attentive and understood what we were looking for.

Nothing I can think of. He was amazing and I would not hesitate to have Vincent do another website for us if needed or do more work on the existing one.

Vnited got the project up and running within a few days. The site was 50% functional with a few days and now we are working on some detailing and content. 

The entire team is incredibly understanding of my needs and is very patient with me. They listen and provided me with the tools, infrastructure to bring my project to life.

The communication with the team is great. They do a great job at establishing a good foundation of including all members of both parties. I always have direct contact with the project manager, which is very responsive. Also, I love that they can adjust to your timeline.

I love the speed, communication, and attention to what the project wants and needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think they can think a bit more outside the box when it comes to design. They stick to the standards, which is good but nothing that sets it work (aesthetically) from others.

We contacted a few digital marketing agencies. Vnited were very quick to answer and were helpful, providing tips on what was wrong with the website, even before the contract started. They then provided the most compelling service proposal.

First we had a call with them to understand our needs, and to give us an overview of what they planned to work on as well as to define the milestones and deadlines of the project.

Vnited’s team then did a thorough review of our site and provided a detailed list of on-page fixes, off-site actions as well as a content strategy in order to help the site rank organically. Their process and team were top-notch, detailed and professional in all aspects of the work at hand.

The quality of the site has improved by orders of magnitude and SERP rankings improved quickly after their intervention. After a few months, the website started to get much more traffic than before

How did you select this vendor?

Choice was made after a meeting with one of the founder who rapidly understood our business model and priorities and took time explaining technical aspects and metrics to non-technical collaborators. This helped us a lot since our team was mostly made of sales people whose knowledge was scarce in SEO and social media metrics. Our priority is to focus on retailing so we decided to outsource this part of the activity. We naturally felt we could trust Vnited expertise.

We gave Vnited access to our website and and social media platform and provided info on our competitors and what we information we needed to know to make a competitve analysis. Vnited made an audit of the website and made recommendation of corrections to be made as well as regarding our strategy in the YTG. As for social media, real time report was implemented and some data about competitors are also given so that we can have an insight on real time about our activities and theirs.

Audit and report helped us draft our budget for YTG and we now have a clearer view of our strategy and budget allocated for SEO and Social Media until end 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Creative Lab - Vietnam was trustworthy and could handle working with my idea. I didn’t need to follow up with how they worked or watch them closely. They really helped me, because I don’t understand the technical side of things too well; when I changed my ideas, they respected that but also provided technical advice.

I appreciated the way the project manager worked with me. I had another job, so I didn’t have much available time. The project manager was very compatible because he adhered to my schedule. We communicated via email and phone. We also had some face-to-face meetings, which I really appreciated.
