I am the CTO of Intersys AG. Our company is one of the top providers of custom software in Switzerland. For 20 years, we have been implementing customer-specific software solutions with great success and providing IT services for demanding business customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aegas, and what were your goals?

Our collaboration with Aegas started with one of our projects, where Aegas Frontend developers participated as a dedicated development team in extension to our capacities. Aegas has proven good performance, we got to know each other better and continued our collaboration on multiple projects more. Aegas provided us Frontend, Backend, Mobile, UI / UX Design, MVP / Proof of Concept development services. They worked with us both on a fully outsourced basis and as tightly integrated into our team.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Aegas has been recommend to us by another software company in Switzerland. Instead of a complex and long evaluation phase, we prefered to directly go for a commun proof of concept: We asked Aegas to implement a small, but demanding project in the field of augmented reality and were satisfied with the results delivered.

One of our recent projects together included participation of 2 development teams from Intersys and Aegas development team. It was an interesting international experience for everybody, as there were people from Switzerland, Germany and Ukraine working together. The project was a complex custom web application gathering and aggregating real time data and providing possibilities to store and work with the data conveniently through a web interface.

Aegas provided Backend development services with Java / Spring stack and Frontend services with Angular stack. Aegas also provided web application UI design services. Their team was curated by a delivery manager integrated into the team. We used SCRUM project development methodology, Aegas was actively involved in the development process and SCRUM events. At a certain point of the project Aegas delivery manager fulfilled the role of SCRUM master for our teams as well.

Aegas team was always available in case something needed to be done, they were online late and on weekends and vacations in case of urgency.

Teams and people varied from project to project, we worked with up to 10 developers from Aegas, and we are constantly in touch with their management on a weekly basis.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched several large scale projects we did together with Aegas, these software solutions process huge amounts of data every day and fit our customers expectations.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Aegas is very flexible when it comes to fulfilling the individual project needs and requirements. They are working well as a dedicated team under our management and as a standalone developers team. In both scenarios they treat deadlines and customer needs seriously, and they are willing to work hard to achieve the best outcomes possible that strengthen our collaboration. We regularly communicate in Microsoft Teams, before that we used Slack for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Aegas team is much younger than ours, but they have the expected technical expertise and we find the common ground and understand each others’ needs quite well. They bring in fresh ideas about new technologies, tools and different ways of problem solving which we appreciate very much.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We keep constant and open dialog with Aegas, and if there is something to improve about our collaboration, Aegas always takes it into account and works on it.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aegas, and what were your goals?

Objective was to build a modern website and consider additional solutions that give our clients a better understanding what we do and enchance their experience online to increase our leads/conversions/visibility. 

Initially, Aegas was engaged to redo our website. Within scope and under budget, Aegas rapidly delivered a custom built site with creative interfaces, robust media and content features, as well as standard and unique analytic tools.

With the remaining budget, they integrated a trip planning tool for boosting client leads through user experience optimization. Currently they are under a new contract which is integrating a custom built CRM/ERP tool which acts as a support suite for AWJ's full lifecycle of business processes (marketing, sales, operations, system adminstration).

How did you select Aegas and what were the deciding factors?

We were introduced to Aegas by a mutual contact.  The deciding factor was based in trust in this contact reference and agreement to continue engagement was benchmarked on small deliverables if once completed to satisfaction.

AWJ approached Aegas to initially revise our website. Aegas designed the UI of a website from scratch and directed the development process from the user flows to the designs’ execution. Aegas provided ideas and solutions that generate a significant amount of increase in website traffic and enhanced user engagement.

The Aegas team led and managed the entire project lifecycle and understood the requirements and objectives quickly to develop appropriate workflow.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

My interaction has been almost entirely been with the Project Manager, Lidiya and occassionally with the executive leadership to ensure things are going well on the project. 

Otherwise, according to the contract documentation provided by Aegas, their team consists of the following functions, which I imagine their involvement would vary depending on which of the three core parts of the project they performed work to support: Project Manager, Technical management, Lead Designer, Designer, HTML coder, Front-end Developer, Back-end Developer, DevOps

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I’ve already seen tangible results. The website has a better user experience and after using the different tools they integrated into my ability to monitor and track website traffic which has improved by over 1000% from what it was initially.

Furthermore, the trip planning tool they incorporated into the website has generated at least half a dozen new client prospects for new clients, trips combined are currently valued at more than $150,000!

Communication with Aegas is really easy, I can reach any one of their contacts whenever I have a question. They complete work on time and exceed expectations. They continue to do a great job from a project management standpoint

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I've been very impressed with the evolution of our partnership and the maturity of such a group of young and dedicated experts. Their skills are always improving, and they are always open to new challenges and requests.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have no real criticisms for Aegas. Even when there are miscommunications on a project, the Aegas team always acts professional and responsive in resolving any issues.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I advise future clients to trust them and to have a good idea of what needs they have and take the time for them to understand. Once that happens, Aegas will deliver to clients the results they need as well as the solutions they never knew would exist.

I am the funder of a Nft marketplace called Quadrifolium.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aegas, and what were your goals?

We needed Aegas, to help us with all the blockchain development of our NFT social platform! We implimented all on binance smart chain with a great royalty system. We also uploaded a million of creations so people can mint and buy.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It was hard to find a relevant team for this project. Aegas was a trully nice partner to work with and we will continue such a professional partnership…

The scope of work demanded many online meetings to deal with blockchain features that Aegas has fully impliment. Since we were working on many other features on our own and at the same time, we needed them to be always available if our work needed to interfer with their code. All was super coordinated.

We have worked maily with Lidya that was taking notes and guiding us when it was needed. She was responsible to assign task on their internal team and we never needed to discuss with anyone else. All was smooth! She handle all discuss with on depatment from our company.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The work they have produced was higly professional! We really enjoyed working with them.

We used whatsapp for everyday comunication. We could write or call at anytime on a daily basis. When we needed to impliment a specific features, we discussed it, and in less than 24h, we received an offer with price and time. They were always on-time with deliveries and they also accepted to wait us when we had delay on our side. Very professional….

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In 2021, it is mendatory to work with everyday tools like social media and phone not to bother with emails. This was a key factor to gain a lot of time. Also they were verry much into details and we really liked the fact they were not pushing us when we were late with something…

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

To be honest, i could not find any mistakes on their sides. We will need to see if we find something to say in next partnerships…

I’m a CEO and Founder of GlobalData Techs company. We provide strategic consulting and technology solutions for our clients. The aim was to create front-end and mobile applications for the Arabic version of the Hepsiburada marketplace that would allow users to have a better and more convenient experience on the platform. The aggravating factor was the tight deadline (3 weeks) and the customer's high demand for performance and security.

They were recommended by a mutual acquaintance who spoke well of the company and the team in particular. Deciding factors were speed and quality of work, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work with other teams on the project.

It all started with an initial kick-off call with the customer, where the Aegas was introduced, and the customer had the opportunity to get to know each specialist personally and learn more about each one. After receiving the details and technical documentation, the direct work on the project and communication with the team via Slack started.

The Aegas team consisted of twelve specialists - 2 front-end and 10 mobile developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Aegas delivered quality results in time despite the challenging deadlines. We managed to launch applications and adapt Hepsiburada for the MENA region

I can describe the communication and management style in three words - fast, flexible, and straightforward. The specialists gave feedback on time and fully disclosed the answers to our questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was pleasantly surprised that the team acted very quickly and sometimes seemed to 'anticipate' the client's wishes, giving a very high level of support and understanding of the product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is nothing critical I can advise on.
