Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re an ad tech business that provides services to advertisers for their digital campaigns. Our clients are mainly e-shops, along with financial or other online services, logistics companies, and communication providers. We also run an ad network, which is basically a monetization service for publishers. I’m a co-founder and the manager of the company.

Our main services relate to running campaigns for advertisers on the buying side, but we also participate on the selling side, interacting with global publishers. We mostly operate in Lithuania and Latvia, but we have customers from other countries throughout Europe as well. New publishers are our main focus.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Adseo Lithuania?

We’re experts in programmatic or automated advertising but we lack knowledge about SEO, performance marketing, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads. We collaborate with SEO companies in those fields.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adseo provides SEO analysis for our customers and runs Facebook and Google Ads performance campaigns using search and display ads, which represent the largest part of our budget.

Depending on the advertiser, Adseo participates in the conceptualization of the campaigns. They have designers and creative people as well, but we’ve only used them for running campaigns. We have our own creative resources.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–3 people from Adseo: an SEO analyst, a designer, and one of their owners.

How did you come to work with Adseo Lithuania?

Our collaboration began with Adseo using our services, and it grew to the point where we began providing services to each other.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost fluctuates. We spend up to $1,000 per month with them so the total is below $10,000 at this point.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Adseo in June 2020. The collaboration is ongoing and growing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have extensive experience in the field, but we’re learning from Adseo. With their help, we started seeing improvements within a few weeks. The main metric we look at is cost per conversion (CPC) or cost per lead (CPL), which is be decreasing. We’re paying less for engagement and getting better conversions.

SEO is a long-term process, so I can’t provide metrics for that yet.

How did Adseo Lithuania perform from a project management standpoint?

Deadlines aren’t very important for us; I’m happy with Adseo’s delivery. They’re hardworking people, and they deliver what they promise. If we need a solution today or the next day, they get it done.

We communicate via email and messaging apps like Viber. We’re not using a CRM or anything similar with Adseo. Trello works for us internally, but we don’t provide our partners access to it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adseo Lithuania has the widest digital marketing experience I’ve ever seen, as well as very deep knowledge. I thought I knew a lot, and I’ve learned that I don’t since working with them. With their 20 years of experience, they’ve been around since the beginning of digital marketing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Jokingly, they could reduce their client count. They don’t have so many clients that their services suffer, and I don’t know what their organizational structure is, but it’s a bit of a concern that Adseo could get so many clients that we’ll get less attention in the future. I haven’t yet noticed that, however.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

You should be educated in digital marketing and know what their targets and goals are. If you’re precise about KPIs, then you’ll have very good conversations with Adseo. We’ve worked with account managers from other companies that weren’t that knowledgeable, and the collaboration wasn’t high level.

How did you select Adseo Lithuania and what were the deciding factors?

We have selected this company, because our friends from another company (Partner1 UAB) have recommended them as the internet marketing professionals and they were right.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

We first started by developing a Google adwords campaign strategy, keyword planning, and budgeting. The advertising campaign itself continued, during which our planned budget was used as efficiently as possible and sales goals were achieved.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Throughout the advertising campaign, we worked with one dedicated person who delved as much as possible into our needs and provided services that met our expectations.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

During the advertising campaign, our sales tripled and the site received much more traffic. The campaigns were commissioned for several months before the site started naturally generating traffic on google searches.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

We communicated via email throughout the communication, providing monthly reports and campaign budget forecasts for the following month. Communication was timely and uncrowded.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most about working with Adseo is that the person assigned to our company was well versed in their work, specifics, and accurately provided advertising budget and website traffic forecasts.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We worked with several other companies in the field later, but they weren’t that good, so we plan to go back to Adseo again.
