For what projects/services did your company hire Adler Social, and what were your goals?
We were needing to generate social media content to gain an online reputation and positioning on social networks.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We love the customer service and the easy way to communicate our needs with them. They're always giving us support and recommendations to grow our online reputation.

Once the contact started, they explained to us in a very easy and friendly way how they work and gave us some suggestions on how they can help our content strategy, and they started to handle it. Also, with their amazing app, we have been able to gain reviews and post directly to our own social networks in a very easy way.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We work directly with an account manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our post engagement has been growing, on a daily basis we can see likes in the posts and our reviews have been growing very fast. Also when you search for us in social networks, we're appearing on the first pages.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We understood how they work, and we came up with some basic strategies and work with some allignment and everything has been very easy to follow.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
From my experience, I know how hard is to generate content on social media and they've done an awesome job of creating relevant posts about my business on a daily basis. I don't know how they do it, but my social media profiles are always up to date!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
So far they have been doing a great job, I would like to see more posting options on other social media platforms, but I guess they'll offer more innovative solutions that can benefit my business.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a wedding photography group.
What challenge were you trying to address with Adler Social?
I used Adler Social as a service to help me post and manage my social accounts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I paid a monthly fee for Adler Social to post images and professional text on Facebook and Twitter to help attract potential clients. I provided the images. They also created four graphic posts per month to share on those platforms.
What is the team dynamic?
I only communicated with the manager who oversaw my account.
How did you come to work with Adler Social?
I received a call from them a couple of months ago. Adler Social talked about how they can improve my reachability and brand name so more people can see my business. They also offered to make all my social accounts look professional.
How much have you invested with them?
It was $300 monthly plus a $400–$500 initiation fee.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in February 2020 and requested cancellation in March the same year.
How did your relationship with Adler Social evolve?
I was satisfied with the performance in the first month. Adler Social posted on time, and their content was reliable. The words they gathered are somehow built out from my business, not copied and pasted from other sites. But the text seemed to take two minutes of thought from their side, so it wasn’t worth the money.
What problems arose and what did Adler Social do to address them?
After the first month, I called the manager to cancel because the quality had declined and because of COVID-19. They offered to pause my service instead. We agreed on that.
It wasn’t until May that I noticed that Adler Social charged me for two more months of work. When I called them, they said my manager wasn’t available, and they would pass along the message. Five days later, I hadn’t received a response, so I emailed my manager. She said they didn’t know that I wanted to pause the service. I showed her proof: their posts on my Twitter profile had stopped in March when we agreed to do the pause. They claimed they did more posts, but that wasn’t the case.
It took 2–3 days for the billing department to get back to me, and they only agreed to return half of one month’s fee. I asked them to cancel the service and they agreed. I received an email confirmation that clearly said that Adler Social will never charge me again. However, last week, I got charged one more time. I felt that was totally unprofessional and unethical as a business practice.

Besides the first month, I felt ripped off by how they charged my account without my notice.
How was project management handled?
We spoke over the phone and email.
In what specific areas can they improve?
I think they need to either drop the price or improve the quality of the content beyond the first week of service. Also, when the customer asks for billing information, they should reply right away instead of waiting a week.

Our goal was to strategize with Adler for a social media campaign. To come up with a plan to get the best return for our investment.
How did you select this vendor?
We selected them because they are local to us and figured we wouldn't have any issues since we are so close to each other.

We never got that far. Our initial conversation was to set up a meeting- a set up call so we can discuss what the plan would be. But something happened and that call never took place. So we never got to know what the scope of work was going to be

The two people that I spoke with were rude and condescending

They took it upon themselves to write irrelevant posts on our google my business page to justify the $500 a month they were charging us- Without our knowledge or consent

Terrible.. there was zero communication
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Nothing really.. we just wanted to give them a chance since they are a local business

Many, change the way the business.. instead of preying on small businesses, do some real work and make your clients happy
