We’re a watershed maintenance and flooding state agency. I’m part of the executive team.
What challenge were you trying to address with Adelsberger Marketing?
We were trying to put together an informational video on a new flooding training center. We hope to increase flood resilience and provide some educational opportunities for water and soil conservation through it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We brought in Adelsberger Marketing to turn the results of a feasibility study that we had completed into a video. They helped us with the entire production process, including the script, storyboard, visuals, audio mixing, and other elements. Additionally, they assisted with scheduling and shooting interviews and implementing some animations. Their team provided all the equipment and shot everything in their own studio.

We worked with 4–5 people from their side, including Kevin (Founder & Managing Partner), who served as our main point of contact.

They’re a local firm, and they do lots of different work around our area. Also, they were familiar with one of our partners.

We worked together on the project from July–October 2022.

The video was very informational, and we received really good feedback from the intended audience. Overall, the video effectively communicated the message we wanted to get across.
How did Adelsberger Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a great job from a project management perspective. They delivered on time, stayed on budget, and worked flexibly in terms of adjusting to our team’s schedules. For communication, we mainly used Zoom and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What we really liked about Adelsberger Marketing was their ability to focus and put themselves in the shoes of their customer. By doing so, they were able to leverage their creativity to bring our ideas to life. We also liked working with the ideas their team came up with.

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Adelsberger and his team for several years in the past. I have seen the quality of videos he has turned out, and I have been impressed with his ability to grasp his client's vision.

We were on a very short timeline, and Kevin immediately added us to his schedule, meeting us quickly after our phone conversation. The process included notes from our meeting and filming the next day.
Email communication, texting, and phone calls became very important as digital samples, script edits, images, renderings, and more were exchanged quickly to meet our deadlines.

Our team worked with Kevin and Ricky mainly, with Alex and a few other Adelsberger team members in the mix.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our team was extremely happy with the outcome! The group that we presented to commented over and over on how great our presentation was. We left an impact because of the video.

They began with an in-person meeting to understand our needs. Work began immediately, as we were in a time crunch to get the job done. Phone calls and email exchanges followed as we shared files and ideas back and forth.
We had a Zoom call, also as we watched and talked through the final draft. We were able to make changes, and they produced a final product that was on target with our mission.

We actually had a website that had been hacked. We were trying to redevelop our webpage.

The team started from scratch for the development and design of our new platform. We needed a site that would clearly define our mission, give families access to online applications, and that would demonstrate to the public what we do that sets us apart from other preschool programs.

Their follow-up style was the most impressive. Sometimes, they’ll be waiting on me for something because I’m consumed with other responsibilities. I appreciate the consistent follow-up to keep me on track.

This is minor and likely an area of growth for myself, but their team could keep in mind that their customers might not be well-versed in the terminology. I’m not a web designer, so sometimes their requests weren’t as clear to me. They could be a bit more mindful of that.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Overall, I would recommend them to other people. I really appreciated our initial brainstorming session. It wasn’t rushed. I was able to tell them exactly what I was looking for. As I mentioned, they were also committed throughout the project, following up with me consistently.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a natural foods grocery store, offering items such as supplements and vitamins. We’re a small locally owned store and I’m the owner. I started this business in June 2015.
What challenge were you trying to address with Adelsberger Marketing?
We were opening a remote location for curbside pick up orders and we engaged them to do the marketing and promotion of that new venture.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Basically, we opened a second location but it was not a full store — it is an online pick up in remote locations for people who order online. Then, we offered curbside delivery at remote locations. As a result, we hired Adelsberger to do marketing promotion for that launch, which included a digital website, radio, television (TV), email, and YouTube video. They worked closely with our social media team over the past few months.
For the video, they were in charge of all the creative outputs including storyboarding, scripting, production, and launching. After they produced the video, they sent multiple emails before the launch of the teaser video and they also did a few throughout the day after we launched. Adelsberger also captured stock photos for the store.
They also did email marketing for us and created a separate URL for a temporary landing page for the new site. They now do Spotify stations on music stations.

We worked with Kevin (Small Business Marketer), Brittany (Social Media & Online Content Manager), and Ricky (Graphic Designer).
How did you come to work with Adelsberger Marketing?
I saw their work before and they already partnered with several local businesses in Jackson. I was always impressed with their level of professionalism and creativity. When I saw what they had done, it just made me want to bring that level to our business.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $18,000 on our marketing efforts.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our marketing efforts collaboration ran from September–December 2020. However, we also have a different ongoing project with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We really did everything we wanted to do with our marketing efforts. It was a good experience and I was happy with the final outcome. I appreciated their creativity and we also received a lot of great feedback from customers. At that time, it seemed that our marketing strategy really caught the attention of our target audience. However, in the end, it did not translate into orders.
The metrics and the results did not correlate to the quality of the team’s work, because they did a fantastic job. I originally wanted to have 60 orders a day on our new locations, but we only hit an average of two orders per day — so it was a failure in that respect. However, we know that there were many different variables that went into it, notwithstanding COVID-19 and other issues that we experienced locally.
Since the result has been disappointing, we’re doing an internal effort now. That’s why we’re going to start promoting through “word-of-mouth” and “grassroots” approach to let people know about it.
How did Adelsberger Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
We used something pretty basic — it was email. We didn’t use any project management apps.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their creativity was good. In addition, I liked the fact that they were a turnkey one-stop-shop for everything from creativity through production and launch. We were dealing with three people and they did everything, which made things easier.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I couldn’t think of anything that they could improve. From my point of view, everything was handled well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend a lot of time with them beforehand to nail down your expectations and deliverables. They seem to communicate very well from the outset, so if there’s any shortcoming in their milestones and deliverables, it is the prospective client’s responsibility to make sure those are set beforehand.

We were hosting an accreditation Visiting Team virtually and needed a way to introduce the Team to our facilities. We met with Adelsberger marketing and came up with ideas including drone footage of the campuses, and walk-through video of training and office areas. We recorded voice-over narrations to complete the project.

- To give the Visiting Team an overview of all campuses and detailed looks at facilities and equipment.
- To create video footage for use in other projects as needed.

They are a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, are active in the local non-profit community, and I've seen their work before. They do quality work and have a great reputation.

We had an opening strategy meeting to develop the concept, a couple of phone calls for further discussion and determine the schedule, video footage (internal and external) was recorded and edited, narration by a staff member was recorded and the draft final product was reviewed by my team.
What was the team composition?
We worked with 3 team members from Adelsberger: Kevin, Alex and one unnamed member of his team. Kevin handled the conceptual work and help direct the video work. Alex and the other person handled both digital and still photography and the narration recording.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Initial feedback from the accreditation Visiting Team has been very positive. They appreciated the videos, narration, and still photography. We look forward to their final written report. Additionally, we were able to use some of the video footage from this project for another project.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Excellent. I was very pleased with the process, their feedback and the timeliness of the project. We met our deadline.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are very bright and listen well. They allowed us to express our vision of what the final product should look like and made suggestions along the way. They also took the time to learn what we do at the college. They have the requisite technology needed to make our project come to fruition.

Depending on whether this was an on-location shoot or editing graphics and video the number of team members changed. I had consistent communication with 5 team members throughout the process.

The Adelsberger team has exceeded our expectations as usual on this project. Everything was completed in a timely and professional manner. We continue to get incredible feedback on the videos, social media posts, and radio ads.

Mack Pest Control is a multi-generational pest control service provider with a history of over 75 years. We cover the Nasvhille, Jackson, and Memphis areas across Tennessee.
I'm the Branch Manager for our Jackson location where I work alongside my father, the CEO of the company. We specialize in residential, commercial, and apartment accounts throughout our market. Services include pest control, termite control, and crawlspace services.
For what projects/services did your company hire Adelsberger Marketing, and what were your goals?
The website that we had been working with was old and had lost some of its function. It was embarrassing to advertise as it's not something we were proud of. We needed a fresh look as well as features that could drive convenience for both existing and prospective customers.
How did you select Adelsberger Marketing and what were the deciding factors?
I have known the founder, Kevin Adelsberger, for several years. We both volunteer with our local Chamber of Commerce where we developed a relationship. I had seen various projects of his through that as well as for other businesses.
His story of how he created the company from nothing had always impressed me. I also enjoyed how his finished products always had the feel of being both modern and practical. Knowing him as a disciplined and creative person gave me the confidence to trust his team with this project.
I was certain that we'd get exactly what we needed in a timely fashion.

Our first meeting was to exam our current website versus others that we wanted to compete with. It also gave us a chance to reach a clear understanding of each other's goals. After that the first draft was actually hand drawn to give a general feel of what Kevin and his team had envisioned.
From there we had a meeting with the leadership from our local office and his team. There we brainstormed together by conveying our needs and our story to them so that they could get a feel for who we really were.
After that I worked with Brittany to get design updates and previews as they were built. Much of our correspondence was through email after our in-person meetings.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Kevin oversaw the project and organized its needs while we communicated those to him. Brittany was the one who created the actual content of the site along the way.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Internally, it was a great morale booster to have a shiny new website that we could be proud of. It showed our team that we are willing to invest in evolving to better suit current and prospective clients.
It suddenly turned from being something that we were ashamed of to something that we wanted to share with the world. Externally, the response to our website has been pleasing.
Prospective customers have complimented the design and its ease of finding necessary information. Our previous design wasn't very inviting so we didn't have many people spending time there.
Now we've seen an increase of traffic and the amount of time it spends on our page.

The correspondence was through 2 in-person meetings and we communicated through email the rest of the time. The Adelsberger team would provide me with updates as they became available which I would then share with those in my business who were interested in the progress.
Adelsberger did their job well. I'd say the biggest hurdle was getting a response from me at times due to the nature of my workflow.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They're your classic start from scratch family business success story. That's exactly how Mack Pest Control was founded so we had a mutual respect through that. But the thing that is most impressive is how their results don't feel small.
Their work rivals that of larger, more established marketing companies. Kevin is focused and friendly. Their patience with us accommodated a successful overall project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I feel as if they did everything they promised. The only mistake was me operating solo on our business. It would've been helpful to have someone beside myself to assist them with their needs for the creative process.

Le Bonheur Children's Hospital is one of the nation's best children's hospitals, featuring expert physicians and staff, state-of-the-art technology, and family-friendly resources. A part of the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare group of hospitals, the Jackson, Tenn Le Bonheur Children's Outpatient Center exists to continue to provide quality care to the children of West Tennessee.
Le Bonheur's Community Outreach team, the team I am apart of, provides many prevention and intervention services to children outside the hospital/clinic walls. Le Bonheur on the Move (LOM) travels across rural West Tennessee to provide affordable, accessible healthcare services for children. This is accomplished by partnering with school systems that have identified a need for their children.
LOM supports the efforts of local primary care providers by identifying the health care needs of children, offering preventative health services and education, and linking children to appropriate medical and/or behavioral health services. LOM also refers to children who have or are at risk for developing a chronic condition to RN Health Education. Registered Nurse Health Educators provide education about healthy living and make referrals to primary care or specialists when needed.
For what projects/services did your company hire Adelsberger Marketing?
Adelsberger Marketing filmed a series of educational videos for our Jackson, TN Le Bonheur Community Outreach team. It was a 5 part video series, with each video being around 10 minutes each. The videos will be used to provide healthy lifestyle education to both children and adults.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal for the project was to create five high-quality, creative, fun, educational videos. These videos will be dispersed across West Tennessee, both in the rural school systems and the hospital.
How did you select Adelsberger Marketing?
Our internal Marketing team suggested contracting out to work with Adelsberger Marketing for this project due to location and accessibility. After visiting Adelsberger's website and seeing some of their online material/content, it was a no brainer. We were impressed with their work and knew this was the route we wanted to take.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Each of the video scripts was written ahead of time. We sent the script's content to Adelsberger and gave them free rein to make changes. They helped us with rewording; they came up with creative ways to add digital effects.
They created fun props to make our videos more entertaining and engaging. They even scouted out and went the extra mile to book an outside gymnasium for a basketball scene in one of the videos. When it came down to actually filming the videos, Adelsberger Marketing came prepared.
We just showed up to film. The process was very thought out and organized. The videos were shot in 2 days, and Adelsberger provided the finished product by our deadline, about 30 days after filming. This was a very spontaneous project.
We contacted Adelsberger Marketing very last minute due to our original filming plan falling through. I cannot say enough good things about the promptness and quality of services they provided for us in the middle of our time crunch.

We worked closely with the owner, Kevin Adelsberger, and graphic designer, Ricky Santos. Another employee assisted with content creation.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We recently received the finished product, so we haven't begun dispersing the videos. We do plan to upload the videos onto our website (www.growwelltn.org) as well as sending out the links to teachers and coordinated school health. We plan to keep track of how many views the videos get. We also plan to play the videos internally at Memphis Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between the teams was appropriate and efficient. The primary method was email. Responses were prompt and timely.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was impressed with the quality of the product (graphic design, detail, etc). I was also impressed with the company's willingness to go the extra mile to provide us with a high-quality video.
The videos were far from basic and there was a lot of time, thought, and money invested on their part to help us with our props to get these videos up to the standard we desired. What was impressive to us was just second nature to them; it is their standard.

We wanted a fresh, customer friendly, professionally designed website to represent our company and to drive online leads to.

I knew of Kevin through Leadership Jackson (A local leadership development group) and through some community events. Kevin has a very prominent social media presence in Jackson and I felt his style would work well with mine.
Describe the project in detail.
They designed and developed a completely new website for our company. The communication was outstanding from the beginning and I could tell they took the time to truly feel out what we were looking for and what would work best for our needs.
The project took longer than normal but not because of any fault to them. They were very accommodating to our schedule and dealing with unexpected events that cropped up. They also produced video footage for a video header for the website and provided a photoshoot with headshots for all of our employees.
What was the team composition?
Kevin was the lead on the project with support directly for the website coming from Brittany. Ricky helped at the photo and video shoots. The entire team was extremely professional and easy for me to reach with any questions, and always quick with answers.

We have a website that our employees are proud to point customer to. We have a website that allows our customers to schedule calls online. We have a website that allows our customers can chat directly with our call center.

Workflow was outstanding. I couldn't ask for better or quicker communication and resolution to any issues.
