I’m the president of a wholesaler and manufacturer of consumer products, which range from gift items to backpacks. We also make apps for various devices to augment and go with one of our backpacks.

What challenge were you trying to address with Acuratech Global?
We needed Acuratech’s help in mobile app development and website integrations.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Acuratech has developed an app for us that utilizes GPS and a number of integrations. It also uses motion sensor features and initiates alarms that let users know when their devices are being stolen. Users can also receive information from the devices even when they’re already stolen.
What is the team composition?
We work with two people from Acuratech. Our main point of contact is Ishwinder (COO), who communicates our needs to the rest of the team.
How did you come to work with Acuratech Global?
We posted the project on several bulletin boards, including Upwork, where we eventually got in touch with Acuratech. Our team provided the description of the app and took solicitation from about 11 suppliers, all of which sent proposals that provided details on the projects they’d done in the past along with their skill sets and expertise.
In terms of cost, some vendors told us that we wouldn’t get the product we wanted for the price point we were paying. Others quoted us much lower prices, but my instincts told me they weren’t going to be dependable. This was partly the reason why we went with Acuratech.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $7,500–$10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in March 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Acuratech’s work has been exemplary. They have great attention to detail, and their graphic development services are impeccable. Their response times, follow-ups, and turnaround times are great — I can’t use strong enough adjectives to describe how good they are. We’ve experienced a few developmental glitches, but those have more to do with the iOS environment. Overall, their execution and delivery are excellent. The app also runs well.
How did Acuratech Global perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management skills are perfect. To communicate, we use emails. We’ve also had several phone and video conversations either through Zoom or Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Everything they’ve done has been great. Even when they’re celebrating a holiday over the course of a weekend, I’ll get a message informing me about it. They ask me to tell them about urgent matters.
Moreover, even if English is only their second language, they can interpret and truly understand what we’re talking about; we don’t have to explain every nuance of the English language. On top of that, they also know how to culturally interface with Western culture — not just with the US but also with Canada, Mexico, and most of Western Europe. It’s almost like they’ve lived in these places for an extended period of time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. We haven’t found any deficiency or complaint during the entire process.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate succinctly and clearly define important terms — don’t make assumptions, and be specific. Make sure that Acuratech understands what you want from them, and they’ll do a great job.

We needed a company that could help us develop a social media app MVP.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired Acuratech Global to help us develop a video-sharing app MVP for Android. We started the engagement by working on the app’s initial design. After that, Acuratech Global developed the MVP’s main functionality, which was its video-sharing feature. The app works like Snapchat but is even more focused and efficient. It allows people to start recording and sharing videos as soon as they open the app.
We’ve yet to release the app on the Play Store, but we’re already planning on developing an iOS version with Acuratech Global in the future. Right now, they’re tasked with handling the app’s maintenance and developing more features for it.

It was about scaling our business. We were focused on large, international accounts and needed a user-friendly, customizable turnkey system that would allow our clients to create their own unique rewards programs.

Working with many engineers, Acuratech Global designed and developed our platform.
The main feature of the platform was customizability because every one of our customers was different, and therefore needed a different reward program.

I worked with eight programmers.

There was a chance meeting with someone — I forgot who they were — who suggested Acuratech to me. After that, I developed relationship with one of their representatives and felt that he would do what he said he would do. Additionally, their customer service stood out.

We worked together from January 2003–2008. I sold the company, but I don’t think there’s any ongoing work at the moment.

How did Acuratech Global perform from a project management standpoint?
Their people still stay in touch with me today, and I consider my representative to be a good friend. I would recommend them to anyone, as I was pleased with the entire experience.
Acuratech’s team kept me up to date, gave me reports, and were always on time. If another resource was needed on project, they brought them on.
We used Gantt charts and telephone calls to collaborate. There were also tracking tools to make sure we knew where we were located in the programming cycle.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their customer service was great. If someone is far away, then you have to trust them. Acuratech understood their responsibilities and were on-time and informative. During onboarding, they quickly tapped into the project and understood my needs. Their follow-up also stood out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As a CEO I’d rather have spent less money, but that’s not fair to them. Acuratech did their job, and you can’t say that about a lot of companies.

They kept me informed and knew what my organization needed.

Our first call was to go over the scope of the project. We outlined the features, functionalities, and platforms we wanted — iOS, Android, and a website as well. Once we agreed with their project plan and fees, they sent us wireframes screen by screen. It started simple but grew to a full design. After that, the development started. AcuratechGlobal took us from start to finish.
Once the app was finished, AcuratechGlobal uploaded it to the App Store and Google Play Store, making sure it was approved and live. Afterward, they provided support to fix any issues that might come up.

I worked with Ishwinder (COO, AcuratechGlobal).
How did you come to work with AcuratechGlobal?
I first met Ishwinder when we were both involved in different companies four years ago. We worked together over a project together through email and Skype, and it went really well. We really understood each other; I threw a lot of questions at him, and he responded to everything. He always delivered on the deadlines as well.
When I had this project, I reached out to Ishwinder because we had that prior relationship. I already trusted him. Plus, when other developers wanted deposits before doing work, Ishwinder was willing to hit a few milestones before he wanted me to give him any money. That made an impression on me.

The project started in July 2018 and ended in July 2019. We had delays due to issues on my side.

The app is live and has received a lot of good feedback. Downloads are starting to pick up. One of my tech colleagues looked at our source code in our website and was so impressed with the quality that he asked who built it. I’m super happy with everything.

This is the main reason why I’ll continue to refer them: AcuratechGlobal was literally always available. Whenever I sent an email or needed to have a call, they always were there to give updates or answer questions. Also, whenever they promised to hit a milestone, they got it done. I never had to bug them to find out how the project is progressing. It was very easy to work with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We got the feeling that they really wanted to help us complete our project. They wanted to help us accomplish our goals, and they were willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were 100% happy. When it came to minor requests or additional work, they were happy to do them without charging us extra. I felt like our happiness was more important to them than making an extra dollar.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Honestly, no, I was very happy with AcuratechGlobal. It was a very pleasant experience. Ishwinder delivered on his word completely.
Any advice for potential customers?
Don’t look anywhere else; this team is really good. They know what they’re doing when it comes to development. However, you need to know what you want them to do so that they can execute on that. While they can give guidance and ideas, they’re not going to create your business for you.
