Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the managing associate for a leading provider of service related to intellectual property rights. Since our inception, we've been committed to providing simplicity and efficiency to the complex subject matter of intellectual property. We provide services related to patent searching, patent filling, trademark searching, trademark filling, copyright, portfolio management, watch services, and PCT filling. Our team consists of engineers and lawyers who are dedicated to meeting our client and partners goals.

For what projects/services did your company hire Acentria Software?

To create our online presence by building a website. The challenge that we faced is that many companies do not provide post-project services and delay the project delivery, which we came to know based on our past experiences. We identified quotes of different companies for development that would suit our needs.

What were your goals for this project?

To create a professional web development which can help us in business development.

How did you select this vendor?

They came to our notice through a web search. We received quotes from all the vendors and then selected them. The quotes were screened based on our need and the budget allotted to our project after meeting with each vendor separately.

They designed and developed a new website that looks impressive to our client and can help us to generate business leads. We're working on the SEO part of the website and have received help from Acentria Software from time to time. The best thing is their availability for answering our queries.

What was the team composition?

the project team comprised four resources which were selected after a little scrutiny on our end. The roles were distributed based on the development of the website: an HTML developer, a PHP developer, a web designer, and a quality engineer. The team also includes a team lead and a business analyst who are directly in contact with us. the size of team remained the same during the period of the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project was completed a few days before the given timeline. The professionalism shown by the time is great, as they were able to achieve their target.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project completion was a major achievement. The end result was more than we expected. They were able to deliver the project with last-minute changes that we want them to do.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Company is supportive, cooperative, and professional. They are available every time we call them. They put forward their own ideas in order to make things better and clearer. Skilled in understanding and suggesting requirements.

Based on our experience with the company we don't know any area of improvement.

I was having some problems with my websites, so I needed a partner to update them

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’d already purchased a job board software, but it was fairly basic, so Acentria Software did a lot of updates. They redeveloped our WordPress websites and also added new features, such as the search functionality to find a job via title, city, and/or state. They also redesigned our sites, creating and modifying pages to make them more aesthetically pleasing and more functional.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My websites are much more stable, and we haven’t had any hacking or security issues. They’re also much more user friendly and easier to access.

How did Acentria Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re one of the best teams I’ve worked with, clearly outlining how long a project will take. I tell them what I need, and they do it for me. We mainly communicate via Skype, but we also use email and sometimes phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re knowledgeable and easily translate what I need into technical functionalities. The entire team is responsive and goal oriented, working with my lack of IT knowledge. If they don’t know something, they’ll take time to find the answer. Their process is smooth, and they feel like part of our team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re a great company.

Have someone on the project who can communicate through minor language barriers.

Acentria Software worked on website development and optimization, along with iOS and Android app development, WordPress plugins, and other technical areas of need. We’ve now worked together on about 20 projects. I retain another firm for design.

We’ve always worked with the same project manager. The lineup of developers has changed according to our requirements.

We wanted a partner with extensive WordPress experience as well as mobile app development capability, and we wanted to work with an agency we knew we could count on. We found Acentria Software on Upwork and it quickly became clear we would work well together.

Our top podcasting school has grown to nearly five times its original audience.

How did Acentria Software perform from a project management standpoint?

We went through complete design phases for some projects, but for other projects, we would work with only a final report for documentation due to time constraints. They’ve always been good about budgeting and tracking and they’re flexible in meeting our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We once discovered that two of our websites had been hacked, and they provided support within minutes, even as the hosting company was unable to save the sites. Acentria Software unlocked backup files that were hidden in the system and recovered the websites fully. In addition, they’re always ready when we need a mobile app or plugin and they provide ongoing customer support.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, but it’s important to always double check that every request has been fulfilled. I do that on my end.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Customers should consider using videos to explain their technical support needs. I can show Acentria Software a problem on my computer and talk to them through the microphone, which saves a lot of time.
