BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there. I’m the co-founder of a coaching and consulting company for interior designers. We help our clients make their business more profitable.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Accountability Now? We were looking to streamline our sales cycle and improve our marketing efforts to get more leads. At the same time, the owner of our business was starting to step back, and we were in need of mentorship for our leadership team to take on bigger roles.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Accountability Now provides sales mentorship and leadership development. We started as a brand-new sales department from scratch since we didn’t have the best system to handle leads and conversions before engaging with Accountability Now. The team provides a coaching approach since our end clients are creative people, and we needed help recognizing how to sell to that target. Accountability Now has created scripts, graphics, and other sales materials for our team to use.
Moreover, Accountability Now has helped our sales team get situated and approach negotiations in a coaching style rather than having a hard sales approach. The team creates sales strategies and scenarios to increase our overall revenue. Accountability Now also helps with marketing ideas and strategies; they've suggested we sell at live events, which is a new approach since we used to have long sale cycles according to furniture market cycles.
We also conduct master classes, and Accountability Now has suggested doing a live Q&A call with our sales team every two weeks. We're committed to having weekly events, and this has helped us pick up our steam regarding sales coming in.

Don (CEO) is my main point of contact from Accountability Now, and we've also worked with a graphic designer.
How did you come to work with Accountability Now?
I wasn't a part of the hiring process since my partner contacted Accountability Now. I believe she received a marketing email from the team and decided to interview them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $5,000 monthly with Accountability Now.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with Accountability Now in January 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Although our revenue hasn't significantly increased, our leads and closing rates have increased, which is really powerful, especially starting a new year.
How did Accountability Now perform from a project management standpoint? Don is excellent at meeting deadlines, although a few projects have taken longer than planned. However, Accountability Now has been a catalyst in helping move our business forward more quickly and allowing us to use some of their resources, too. We communicate with Accountability Now through Slack and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I'm mostly impressed with Accountability Now's approach of being relationship-focused and caring about the team they work with. Accountability Now has empowered our leadership and sales team to step into new territories and roles, increasing our team's knowledge and helping us go the extra mile. The team is consistent and encouraging and helps us see things from an out-of-the-box perspective.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything for Accountability Now to improve. From our side, we could have put together a better set of goals and metrics prior to working with the team to measure their work. However, Accountability Now has met our expectations and helped our business.
