What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Overall, we’re very happy with them. I personally got my job through this company. All the candidates they have sent to us have been pretty bang on in terms of the job description, and most of us here have even joined this company through them. They have always approached us in a very professional manner.
As a potential candidate, they have explained to us exactly what the job is asking from us and then take our feedback on whether we would like to go for an interview. We are given enough information about the whole company so that when we go for the interview we are at ease because we know about the job profile and anything that the company has disclosed. We have been given enough information to go ahead and attend the interview pretty confidently.
They are very professional, and they’re very friendly which is what we like. They are very down to earth, approachable, and friendly from both sides; from the candidate’s point of view as well as the employer's point of view. It is very easy to work with them. I would definitely recommend them, and I have recommended them to a lot of people.
How did Accel HR Consultants perform from a project management standpoint?
They do a good job. They are very thorough when an employee approaches them looking for a job. They properly study the candidates and position before they recommend anyone. We have a lot of confidence in them when they tell us someone is a good fit for a position. They do their homework.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When I got a call from this Accel, they started with a proper introduction. They told me what the company does without disclosing the name due to confidentiality. Everything was clear when I went for the interview and that’s a very rare thing. Other companies just transfer the papers and let the individual deal with it.
Even if a candidate is rejected by us and wants to know where they went wrong when we explain we had a different type of candidate in mind, they understand what we want. This is because of Accel’s clear communication with the candidates.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Sometimes there are two or three people involved so there can be a little confusion at times. I prefer working with one person. That is a very minor thing and I’ve already spoken to Yash about it. He has made it a point to make sure that only he is in contact with me, and the rest of the team liaise with him.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Whoever wants to hire them has to be very clear as to what they want them to do. For example, if you want to appoint someone, be very specific and clear as to what kind of person you are looking for.
The clearer you are, the better it will be for them to get you the right candidates. If you are vague and aren’t sure about things like salaries, or keep the requirements from them, it will be more difficult to get you what you are looking for.
