I am a modern day pragmatic marketer and have been looking for a 3rd party lead generation company that can produce results.
For what projects/services did your company hire Aberdeen?
Lead generation via survey question, I contracted with Aberdeen for a pilot program.
What were your goals for this project?
100 leads with a 25% conversion to a demo and 4% win rate.
How did you select this vendor?

Spent significant time working with them to build the pilot program. After just 60 days and 48 leads out of a hundred I suspended the program with them.
What was the team composition?
Director of Operations, Senior Accountant, and a third representative
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The leads when our SDRs called them, said they never heard of Aberdeen or the survey that was completed. Aberdeen clearly did no QA on the leads.
48 of 100 leads purchased and received. Not one converted to an appt, a demo or let alone close. 0 demos 0 $ closed. No success at all
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
very good at start of program. very limited after initiated. I contact our representative at Aberdeen only to be met with - a sorry best we could do and then billed us . I emailed after the bill was received asking for pricing concession since the program did not perform to agreed KPIs and was flatly denied.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
name recognition but not much else
Are there any areas for improvement?
QA leads passed to your clients and when the program doesn't meet KPI goals be flexible on what you bill. There are other fish in the sea that will work more collaboratively with you. Do not use Aberdeen.
Despite paying for services for almost half of the total expected number of leads, the client did not receive any appointments or demos. Poor communication and a lack of transparency were hallmarks of the engagement.
