I’m the co-founder of Refeel Cartridge Engineering Pvt. Ltd., India’s largest printer cartridge refilling network.

What challenge were you trying to address with A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd.?

We were using a standard ERP, but since we’re a different kind of business, we wanted a custom system to connect all our offices and warehouses. We wanted a new system to manage all our processes, from receiving orders to preparing purchase orders and sending receipts to clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided custom software development. The system allows our employees to check inventory and manager orders. When an order ships, it triggers an automatic email tracking information. Through APIs, they’ve been able to accurately pull the data from our logistics vendors so our customers can track shipments too. Our larger customers have their own logins to make ordering easier. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with a customer relationship manager and a project manager who coordinated with the A1 Future Technologies team and relayed information back to our in-house team.

How did you come to work with A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd.?

The CEO was a speaker at a couple of events I attended. We got in touch with a couple of their customers and got good feedback. My cousin’s company has also worked with them in the past.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have a wonderful team. They were available 24/7. We were able to deploy successfully, and the new system is running smoothly.

How did A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

They provided wonderful support. They were quick to respond and gave excellent feedback. My team only had to speak to one person, and he was very good at explaining the technology and the processes. They used Basecamp. We also had some phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a good understanding of client requirements. They worked hard to study our systems and processes, the way we work, and our potential challenges.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d have them improve. Everything was just right.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s essential to be brief and precise about what you want. Ask them to document their understanding. Clarify what you expect.

We needed a website for our newly established restaurant.

What was the scope of their involvement?

A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. developed and designed our WordPress website from scratch. Their team helped us get up to speed with things that we need to adapt to such as takeout functionality. They added a pop-up that directed to our gift cards and take out providers which is important because we focus on takeouts. They are currently providing maintenance services to our website.

What is the team composition?

We mainly work with a website developer who also maintains our website.

How did you come to work with A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd.?

The owner of the restaurant found A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Price point was a big part of the decision. Outsourcing it to a company in India was certainly more cost-effective for us. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1,000 on the web design and $400 on the annual fee for maintenance.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in April 2019 and the website was launched in September 2019. They are currently maintaining the website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve been very happy with both the timely response and the changes that they’ve been able to make.

How did A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Even working in different time zones, A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has been very responsive. We’ll get an email from them the next day with the changes already made. Our teams primarily communicate through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The cost is the main thing that sets A1 Future Technologies Pvt. Ltd. apart from other providers. With COVID-19 happening, the cost is the most important factor for us right now. Their customer service is fantastic. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t really have much feedback to give for their improvement. We’re very happy with their services and they did a great job.
