We started with a specific campaign to generate new leads. We built a microsite where 6Minded developed a tool to grade the inbound marketing level for visitors. After that campaign, we worked together in many other updates, not only on assets implementation—such as landing pages—but also on processes implementation like nurturing workflows and complex lead scoring configuration.

He helped us lay out a strategy that they’ve been continuously improving since the start of our project. 6Minded does all of our email marketing, blog creation, website edits/changes, and HubSpot assistance. Our sales team takes over as soon as a lead is generated.

Mat is my point of contact. He works with other team members to complete various tasks.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

6Minded has generated 400% more leads than our previous SEO company. At the same time, our cost per lead has gone down, and our marketing return is up 38% from the same time last year. They write intelligent pieces that get engagement from potential customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Mat itemizes his emails, so they’re easy to follow and respond to. When I reach out, he responds within a day. I like their model of having one point of contact, so I don't have to communicate with multiple members of their team. I enjoy working directly with Mat as he is extremely familiar with our account.

They’re experts in the lead generation field. They know how to generate proper leads. We worked with other SEO companies who generated terrible leads that didn’t make sense for our target market. 6Minded fully understands the clients we’re looking for and successfully targets them.

We’d always like to have more leads, but we’re pleased with the amount they generate on a monthly bases. I understand this is a building process. We’re pleased with the direction it’s headed and look forward to continued growth.

We were starting to use HubSpot, and we needed an experienced vendor to get us up and running.

What was the scope of their involvement?

6Minded did major work on HubSpot for us and assisted with our WordPress domain. Recently, they managed a big automation project that required HubSpot to integrate with a lot of other systems. We sent them a Google sheet with our requirements and they executed them.

What is the team composition?

We have one primary point of contact, but there is a larger team dedicated to our project.

How did you come to work with 6Minded?

We found them on Upwork. They were very responsive, and it was clear from the initial questions that they're real experts in HubSpot.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in October 2017, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were able to outsource the entire functions without hiring anyone internally. 6Minded created 300 personalized landing pages for us, which allowed us to give customized experience to each of our partners. That would have been a lot of work, but they had a very effective strategy.

The automation project was also a great success. Our communication with customers has improved, and our sales team can save a lot of time. We've been able to process more deals and move leads quickly down the funnel. Our costs per deal also went down.

How did 6Minded perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very responsive and reliable. We've never had any issues with communication even though we're in different time zones. The communication has been effortless. Most of the time, we can send them a link to a Google sheet, and they understand what we need. We also use email and Google Hangouts to stay in touch.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're very experienced and knowledgeable about HubSpot. They understand our business goals and go above and beyond to help us accomplish them. Also, they're very responsive and provide exceptional customer care.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They're extremely well-versed in the domain they're working in, so they'll quickly get you up to speed. Our internal team understands the technical side of the project fairly well, so we could send out a requirement, and they knew how to handle it.

We’ve been working remotely for the whole duration of the project without encountering any major issues. They always reply quickly to emails and notify us about their future availability in advance. We work on Google Docs and, so far, the workflow has been very effective.

They’re very knowledgeable about HubSpot. With that background, they have been able to propose ideas for automating our processes with impressive speed. We expanded the scope of the project several times, and they were always quick to align with our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

A longer meeting about the system and the process of design/ideation at the start of the project would have been beneficial for mutual understanding. It would have enabled us to align quicker.
