5W handles PR for Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises and The BEAST. That covers media pitching, press releases and media alerts, media previews and events, influencer cruise invitations and RSVP tracking, and press briefing documents. They also send coverage reporting with viewership numbers. We meet weekly, and after each call they send an agenda and a recap of deliverables. They also write a seasonal PR strategy that they keep updating as new opportunities come up.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For the 2026 Howling Halloween Pup Cruise, 5W got broadcast coverage on CBS New York and PIX11. The story was then picked up by KTLA, WJBF, WTVO and WFXR, for a combined audience of more than 522,000 viewers. 

Telemundo filmed a segment on board that ran 23 times across 15 markets and reached over 228,000 more viewers. Other placements include Time Out New York, Yahoo, Secret NYC, Patch, Attractions Magazine and a Tripadvisor release distributed nationally on PR Newswire. They also coordinated an ABC News scout charter for our July 4th programming and brought a TV production on board to film for an NBC4 show.

The team is very organized. Before each weekly call they send an agenda, and afterward they send a recap that clearly splits out what we owe and what they owe. They turn around briefing docs, run of shows and RSVP lists quickly. When something changes last minute, like an influencer scheduling mix-up or an extra ticket request, they flag it fast and handle it without much back and forth.

What stands out most is how far one story can travel with them. They don't stop at a single placement. They share b-roll with newsdesk contacts after an event, so one cruise can turn into syndicated coverage in markets we'd never reach on our own. They're also great to work with day to day. They show up to events, know our brands and the calendar well, and pitch angles that fit what we're actually trying to sell, not generic NYC tourism stories. It feels like an extension of our marketing team.

We'd love to see more coverage reporting tied directly to ticket sales or site traffic, so we can measure the business impact alongside reach. They've already started moving in this direction with year over year comparisons.

The results speak for themselves. In 2025, 5WPR secured 76 pieces of coverage, compared to 14 from our previous agency in 2024, exceeding our goal by 34%. That coverage generated 4.31 million estimated views and a combined audience of more than 663 million, along with significant social reach. The momentum has continued in 2026, with 50+ pieces of coverage and an audience of more than 294 million and counting. Beyond the numbers, their work has strengthened our credibility and created valuable opportunities with media, influencers, distributors, retailers and partners.

They're practitioners who formulated these products because they saw gaps in what their patients had access to. Dr. Zhu owns vision health. Dr. Kreitenberg leads on bone health and prevention. Dr. Kahana makes the liver feel urgent. The goal is building each physician's media presence in their category while making clear these are doctors who actually practice what they formulate. Establish 1MD Nutrition’s Priority Products as the Clinical Standard VisionMD, LiverMD, and OsteoMD each address health concerns millions of people are mismanaging or ignoring entirely. We anchor coverage in the conditions first, then connect each product to the science behind it. The goal is earned media that speaks to a research-driven consumer who wants results, not promises. Own the Standard for What Science-Backed Supplementation Actually Looks Like Most supplement brands borrow clinical language they can't back up. 1MD Nutrition only claims what the data supports. OsteoMD carries an FDA-recognized disease prevention statement. That's not marketing language. That's a bar most competitors can't clear. The goal is owning that distinction across health, wellness, and trade media.

5WPR is actively pitching national media outlets and have secured 3 top-tier placements, with Dr. Quotes, brand mentions, links to products and webisites, as well as email and social media placements. We've only been working together 3 short weeks, and this is a vast improvement of media placement cadence from what we garnered with our last PR agency.

They are highly responsive and communicative which is very refreshing for our team. No details get lost in the fast paced environment of PR. 
Whenever we request that they evaluate a strategy (amazon affiliates, Prime Day, LLM/ GEO strategies), they enthusiastically collaborate with our team and help with what is in-scope.

They created a PR strategy to hit on those goals and mapped out the path both short and long term. Naturally, as things progress and evolve this strategy and execution adapted in order to always deliver the best possible outcome.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since working with them, our B2B startup went from being a small company that not many knew about to being the main player in our space to being acquired by us in 2019. The exposure that 5W secured for us has been invaluable, which is a result of their carefully crafted strategy and excellent execution.

We hold weekly meetings to go over activities and they also send a weekly report on Monday that details accomplishments and priorities for that week. We have a live document to track coverage.

What I have found unique is the combination of their consistent strategy and spontaneous creativity. They are very resourceful, committed, and they continuously carve new paths to reach ambitious goals.

Their longstanding relationships with publications are a testament to the quality they provide and their priority of quality and long term value vs short term quick wins. The B2B space is challenging and they are masters of it.
