Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of SISCORP Structures. We design and build industrial steel buildings, primarily in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
What challenge were you trying to address with 5 + 8?
Our brand was very outdated, so we were trying to re-image our brand to match our reputation. Essentially, we wanted to enhance our brand.
What was the scope of their involvement?
5 + 8 has done a holistic brand refresh, including our logos, mission statement, vision, values, and copywriting. Initially, they did a thorough analysis of our brand because they wanted to understand who we were before diving into solving our problem. Afterward, they were very aware of our needs.
They’ve created examples of how we’d position our logo on different branded materials, such as clothing, construction materials, and buildings. We’ve wrapped up the branding process, but we’re now discussing the website as our next step.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with four people: a project coordinator, a copywriter, a digital expert, and one of the partners.
How did you come to work with 5 + 8?
I was on a flight searching on Google for creative agencies in Houston; it was essential for us to find somebody local so we could work with them in person. 5 + 8 was one of the agencies I saw; they were highly rated with great reviews. We reached out to them to discuss our rebranding, and one of their partners was quick and willing to come to our office to introduce himself. They had great sales and onboarding processes. They also asked many questions, delivered on time, and communicated clearly.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent a little over $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in February 2022, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We launched the rebrand about two weeks ago, and we’ve had a great response from our clients and internal stakeholders. Our team appreciates the new band; however, the most valuable aspect has been that our clients have recognized our image because it’s familiar to them.
How did 5 + 8 perform from a project management standpoint?
They cater to our timelines and are responsive. We communicate through email and Zoom. Also, we use Google Sheets and Google Drive to share feedback and designs.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a one-stop shop for anything creative and digital in the marketing space. From the minute I was introduced to 5 + 8, they were bold and gave me excellent advice. Their culture really sets them apart because they value teamwork; they have such an emphasis on that, that we feel valued as well.
Moreover, they’ve stood out because they haven’t put us into a specific mold to match them. The team caters their expertise to help us, so it’s a personalized process.

I don’t have much feedback; they’ve done everything they promised.

We were looking to do a brand refresh and upgrade our packaging and design assets to pop more.

We looked for agencies all around but 5+8 was the one agency that stood to me because they understood so well what our needs were and demonstrated how they could execute on providing what we needed in a timely manner and with expertise.

After a few discovery meetings, a project schedule and roadmap was defined. After that, everything was so smooth. The roadmap was executed on to the T. Very impressed with how professional and prompt the 5+8 folks are.

We worked with a project manager to handle all communications and a couple graphic designers who executed the work.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Not yet since we haven't launched with our new designs yet but our current customers have shown great feedback so far.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was excellent. I had one point of contact which was the project manager which made things extremely efficient and on top of that she was so prompt and any requests that I had didn't get lost in translation when she communicated with her designers.

They really have amazing graphic design skills. They excel in everything artwork-related.

We are in constant communication with 5 + 8 and have weekly meetings with the team. We are so pleased with their work, so much so, that we rarely have revisions for the ideas and concepts they come up with

We have actually had the privilege to work with all of the team at 5 + 8. I cannot remember all of the positions of the team members, but we have worked with the Partners, Brand Director, Graphic Designers, etc. They go above and beyond for us.

Our LinkedIn profile grew by 1400 legitimate followers and we have generated my leads to clients. We have new logos, banners and slogans and we honestly feel like they are a part of our company and culture now.

Completely effective! I love working with their team and when I am in town, it is my favorite place to visit. They have one of the best work environments I have ever seen. It is a funny, fun and creative place to be.
