I hired 516 marketing to build a strong online reputation for my brand in the search engine and enhance my visibility. My goal was to have a knowledge panel displayed in the SERP showcasing me as a dietitian to build trust with my customers.

They were recommended to me by one of their previous clients they had done similar work for. I chose them because of how highly they were recommended and the quality excellence of their past work.

First, they did an online audit of all my brands content and placements. They then established my personal website as an entity home and helped me write clear descriptions for my brand that Google would understand. They then added schema markup to the homepage to my website.

They then helped me locate independent and authoritative sources within my industry that confirm facts about me. (These sources were also added to the schema code they put on my website). Lastly, they created an infinite self-confirming loop (by linking from my homepage of my website to the corroboration sources and back).

I worked directly with the company CEO. He was fantastic and brilliant. You can tell he loves what he does.

Before working with 516 Marketing, when someone searched my brand name, I was difficult to find and just another blue link in the SERP. Today, I have a brand SERP that displays a knowledge panel and is enhanced with important information about me and links to all my social platforms. Also I love that my SERP contains positive links only of me and no more links of similar people.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had bi-weekly Zoom meetings to discuss strategy and for project updates. When ever I had questions or concerns they were always quick to respond and even offered me a spur of the moment Zoom call to address a concern I had.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was amazed at how relational their team was and I truly felt that they cared about the success of my brand and not just the billable hours.

There was an initial learning phase of numerous meetings. 516 Marketing took the time to fully understand the very specific parameters of our brand and vision. After this, we began the process of overhauling our website structure to fit into the specifications of the planned process we developed with 516 to engage in better online search exposure. An online reporting dashboard was built and delivered to us in order to monitor the progress we've been making each month.

My personal brand was going through an overhaul and so we worked with 516 Marketing to manage my reputation through Brand SERP and trigger and manage our Google Knowledge Panel to help magnify my person and build credibility.

How did you select this vendor?

516 Marketing was started by my friend Keeton and through a personal conversation he sold me on hiring his company to help with reputation management.

This process has been ongoing since May 2022. Keeton started first by assessing my personal brand and making recommendations to communication and messaging to clarify for technology. After that step he step by step walked through a multi-plan strategy to bring brand alignment across our digital profiles and website to creation consistency. Then he worked to create custom code to embed into our site to train Google what is on our website and who the website is about.

Once the Knowledge Panel was triggered a few weeks later, we then reoccurring work through refinements and enhancements to our google search result. Keeton and 516 also manage any new or recrawled article or website mentioning us to either push up or down certain search results.

I worked with Keeton, the founder directly. I also worked with Joseph their Creative Director.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Working with 516 has been so successful. Keeton and their team helped bring clarity to my personal brand’s messaging that humans and technology both understand. And ultimately triggered a Google Knowledge Panel for my person that now shows up globally. This is big for my person, my businesses and my credibility.

Keeton and his team made me feel taken care of to the highest level. Their dedication, innovation and attention produced above and beyond the results we could’ve asked for. Because this kind of management has no guaranteed timeline and calls for a lot of trial and error depending on who the client is, I was given an estimate of at max 3 months to trigger the knowledge panel. It ended up triggering in 2 weeks! They work hard to deliver insane results.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

516 marketing is one of the only companies in the world that gives you full control of your brand’s story through Google Search. But that’s not even the best thing about working with them. Their innovative ideas, professionalism, and generosity make them stand out above any other company I could’ve worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Because this process is uncharted it required a lot of time and attention on my part . I didn’t realize the level of investment it would require of me, but I’m glad I spent the time because it’s paying off big time.

There was one consistent project manager who did an incredible job. There were two additional team members who supported the project, as well.

The project management style always prioritized putting the client first. The team was in constant communication from day one. This set a precedent until the project was finalized. Tools used included email, video chat and social media.
