I’m the owner of an automotive parts company.

What challenge were you trying to address with 4P Tech Labs?

4P Tech Labs handles all of my Google advertising, driving traffic to our website. Before partnering with 4P Tech Labs, I had been unhappy with our previous provider’s results.

What was the scope of their involvement?

4P Tech Labs has set up our Google Ads account. They’ve performed the backend work, generating keywords and ads and managing our campaigns. They’ve also made some backend changes to our website so that they can measure conversions, and they’ve added some content to my site through a blog section. I’ve given 4P Tech Labs notes on what I want, including information on similar products and types of customers that I want to target.

What is the team composition?

A customer service representative is my main point of contact. There are a couple of other people who work on the technical aspects of our Google Ads.

How did you come to work with 4P Tech Labs?

4P Tech Labs cold-called me at a time when I wasn’t happy with the provider that I was using, and I decided to give 4P Tech Labs a try.

How much have you invested with them?

I invest about $650 per month for 4P Tech Labs’ services, not including ad spend.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with 4P Tech Labs in June 2019, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since I began working with 4P Tech Labs, our revenue attributed to PPC advertising has increased by about 2.5 times the previous performance. We’ve seen a general increase in traffic, conversions, and revenue. For about the same cost that I was previously paying to one of 4P Tech Labs’ competitors, I’m now getting about double the value.

How did 4P Tech Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

4P Tech Labs are very thorough. They deliver what they say they’ll deliver, they follow up when they say they will, and they send metrics to me on time every month so I can review the results before they bill me. 

I don’t have to micromanage any of 4P Tech Labs’ work, as they’re very fluid in making sure that requests and tasks get passed on to the appropriate people within their organization. They’re very responsive via phone and email, and they’re good at choosing the right method of communication for any given situation. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

4P Tech Labs delivers what they say they will — without needing to be micromanaged.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of any areas where they could improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that you are clear up front on what you want out of the situation. Tell them exactly what you want, so they know what to deliver. When I’ve clearly communicated what I wanted to be done, 4P Tech Labs has made sure to fulfill those needs.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the owner of an automotive aftermarket parts company.

For what projects/services did your company hire 4P Tech Labs, and what were your goals?

Our website was our first one created a few years ago when our company was founded. We hired 4P Tech to design and develop a Wordpress site. In addition, they are improving SEO and providing support on online / social media marketing.

Our objective is to build company / Brand awareness, drive more traffic to our site and exponentially grow sales.

How did you select 4P Tech Labs and what were the deciding factors?

I was frustrated with people I had used before - the job never seemed complete. 4PT's professionalism, experience and understanding of the strategies I have gave me the faith to turn this project over to them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had several discovery meetings to discuss our goals. Their analysis of our website, coupled with our objectives led to a plan. I gave them green light to commence. A new wordpress site was developed and launched. Social media marketing blasts were released.

SEO links were improved. During the process, we made changes and 4PT adapted. They were very responsive.

How many people from the 4P Tech Labs team worked with you, and what were their positions?

My initial contact was with a marketing professional. Once the program was launched my direct contact was with one project manager. There was also a marketing person that did the social media posts, but my communication to them went through my project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It's too early to provide measurable outcomes of the project.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their communication was great. We had weekly and monthly updates. I’m a difficult person to keep on point, and they did that with their relentless follow up.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ease of communication and willingness to adapt to my vision has been notable in the partnership. They were not force feeding a solution.

I run Hancy Creations, a small business. I operate the company on about every level, though we have a production crew based in Mexico. 

What challenge were you trying to address with 4P Tech Labs?

I needed help with my website, and 4P Tech started helping me by providing SEO services. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

The engagement started with 4P Tech’s SEO services. Through our conversations, they figured out that I was struggling with my website in a major way. I wanted to let the other vendors finish what they started, but 4P Tech's representative kept asking me to use them to build our website. Eventually, I asked them how much they’d charge for it. From there, they started developing the site. Moreover, I was using another company to handle Google Ads, but they were costly and weren’t great. As a result, I also switched over to 4P Tech to do my Google Ads campaigns.

In terms of web development, they built the website from scratch. I was using WordPress because I thought anybody knowledgeable in WordPress could take over. However, I had too many products, and they were too heavy for the website. As a result, 4P Tech suggested I use a Magento site, which they built from the ground up. Apart from that, we did some optimization for the website. The Magento site loaded a bit slowly, so we transferred it to another server. Then, the 4P Tech team worked to optimize the platform for mobile devices.

At present, 4P Tech provides maintenance services for me. They also continue to provide Google Ads and SEO services, where they target keywords every month and send me a report on how we’re performing in relation to those keywords. We also have an email marketing campaign to drive more people to the website. On top of that, they’ve helped me get into Amazon, although this effort has been paused. Nonetheless, I want my own store in Amazon, and I’ll have 4P Tech build that store, too. 

For site features and functionality, the website helps me sell marking tools to quilters around the world but mainly in the US and Canada. My products have different designs, and I have hundreds of patterns I sell on the website. It’s a heavy site because it’s visual; there’s a video on the platform, and images are dominant. 

What is the team composition?

I talk to one of their representatives almost exclusively, although 5–7 people also work on this project with me. The team includes social media marketers and programmers. 

How did you come to work with 4P Tech Labs?

I’d gone through many companies as I tried to get a working website. I was working with the second vendor when I got an email from 4P Tech, and they were offering SEO services. Since the website was new, I figured I could let them do a little test and hear what they had to say. They sent their feedback, and I decided to respond. That was how we started working together. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $16,000–$18,000 on their services during the last year. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with 4P Tech in June 2019, and the engagement is ongoing. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The new website’s navigation is much better than the old one. People can find what they’re looking for easily whether they come from Google Ads or organic SEO traffic. More importantly, the website communicates who we are quickly and clearly. 

For SEO results, we’ve achieved better rankings since our baseline date. For the keyword “machine quilting stencils,” I’m ranked number five in our October 2021 report — I wasn’t even in the top 100 in June 2019. For the keyword “buy continuous line quoting stencils,” I’m at the top three results, up from being at the top 20 previously. Finally, for “Sashiko stencil patterns,” I’m ranked 15th in September 2021 and 14th in October 2021; I also wasn’t in the top 100 for that keyword in June 2019. Our rankings continue to improve. 

How did 4P Tech Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

4P Tech works well and the team is completely capable. Any delays have mainly been caused by me, and they’re often waiting on me to deliver what they need. 

For example, when I wanted them to put images on the website, they told me I had to take better pictures or hire a professional photographer to take 1,200 photos, which I couldn’t afford. As a result, I took the pictures myself, and it took a long time — there was a huge learning curve — but they helped me.

Simply put, 4P Tech has been great at managing the project even though I’m involved in a lot of its aspects. To communicate, we use the telephone and emails. They’re so accessible that I often forget they’re in India and I’m in California. I’ve never had a problem reaching out to them. Sometimes, we also make calls via the computer. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

4P Tech is professional and good at what they do. I lean on them a lot because I know their expertise. Their supervisor is highly educated and far beyond where I am in business in terms of social media marketing and related things. As a result, I can ask him for his opinion on business decisions. Most of the time, he’s available to give me advice on quite a range of topics.

No, there aren’t any.

I’d definitely recommend working with 4P Tech.
