client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing and business development manager at a mid-sized boutique IP law firm serving clients worldwide.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We hired 3 Media Web to re-platform our website, migrating it from a non-functional CMS to WordPress. They were also required to do some limited reworking on the website to update it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web has taken our website as is and moved it over to WordPress. There hasn’t been any redesign done, though they’ve slightly reformatted some of the site’s pages. I’ve been working with them closely to optimize them after migrating to WordPress.
For features and functionality, our website is mainly a brochure. It doesn’t have any e-commerce capabilities since we’re a law firm. Given that, we’ve built our practice and industry pages. The site has a custom web biography feature alongside other forms of content. It has contact forms, blogs, and a featured video on the homepage. 3 Media Web has also helped us redesign a button and homepage feature that lists the industries we serve.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with several teammates from 3 Media Web, including Sean (Sales Director), Rachel (Client Services Manager), Jenny (Account Manager), Kelsey (Senior Web Solutions Architect), Sarah (Designer & Project Manager), Mike (Senior Tech Services Manager), and Brittany (Junior Account Manager).
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
I found 3 Media Web through a combination of search and referral. I saw a sponsor email of an organization and found 3 Media Web’s newsletter and logo. We also saw them on a referral website and even received a personal recommendation from a firm. Put another way, we did plenty of research, and they showed up in a couple of areas, making us want to know more about them.
How much have you invested with them?
Our investment has been slightly over $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with 3 Media Web in October 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve only recently launched the website, so we don’t have a lot of data. However, it’s much faster now. I haven’t had nearly as many problems as I had before the migration to WordPress — it’s head and shoulders better than where the site was before. Overall, 3 Media Web’s work has been excellent, and the product is everything we want.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
The entire team has been truly fantastic. I’ve worked closely with Sarah and Sean, and they’ve both been excellent. Kelsey has also done great work. Moreover, their communication has been top-notch, and they meet our deadlines and budget requirements. To communicate, we mainly use emails; we also sometimes use phone calls and Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The communication of 3 Media Web’s stakeholders has been impressive. We’ve met their co-CEO, and she truly wants to know how we’re doing. The entire team takes care of us and doesn’t just pass us from one person to another. There’s a lot of follow-up, and they’re highly responsive. When I have questions, they answer me right away and send someone who has the answers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask all your questions because 3 Media Web will answer them — or find someone who can. There aren’t any bad questions for them.

3 Media Web helped a nonprofit organization redesign their website as part of a rebrand. After the discovery phase, they rewrote all the content, restructured site navigation, and upgraded the company's logo.
3 Media Web's support enabled the organization to execute the QA and launch phase smoothly. In addition, the website received positive feedback, became accessible, and increased contact form submissions because of the new designs. On top of that, the team was efficient and effective throughout.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
Catholic Charities Boston is one of the largest social services Agencies in Massachusetts, providing support to thousands of families and people in need of food, shelter, living assistance, legal support, childcare, and education. My role is the Senior Director of Marketing
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire 3 Media Web?
We hired 3Media for a full redesign of our website, including rebrand, rewriting all the content, a restructure of site navigation, and an upgrade to our brand logo. We subsequently hired 3Media for a service contract and a digital advertising buy.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We are a complicated Agency that provides a lot of services and we needed a partner who could synthesize information and make it easy for all audiences to understand. 3Media's pitch presentation was straightforward yet personal. 3Media was also very competitive with pricing and was willing to work with us to fast track our project–other vendors gave us an estimate of 9-12 months for completion. We had our site launched within six.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We immediately dove into the design process after an initial discovery call and were very impressed with how the designer accurately captured a lot of ideas in a clean, modern way. We had weekly check-with a project manager and a creative team unit to discuss ideas and give feedback. Once the creative process winded down we moved to e-check-ins, which lasted until we got closer to launch. At that we picked up again with check-ins to talk through content migration, images, and to test forms and work through any adjustments.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We mainly worked with a project manager, designer, and writer. As we got closer to launch we worked with IT and throughout our service contract we work with 2-3 support reps.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I've launched over 10 websites in my career and this was by far the smoothest QA and roll out of a site I've experienced. The design has gotten such positive feedback and more importantly information is much easier for people to access. We see this most distinctly in our contact form submission which have increased over 40% pre-launch. We initially had opted to used the logo 3Media created as a secondary option to our primary logo, but it's been such a hit with the Agency and donors that we are in the process of updating our brand guidelines to make it our primary logo.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team was very communicative and fast paced, 3Media is very efficient and effective at meeting deadlines.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were very impressed by their design capabilities, willingness to collaborate, and creative ideas. We wanted a site that could feel approachable and that wouldn't intimate donors or clients that are not technologically savvy and we feel like we received a site that was so streamlined and easy to use but still feels modern and sharp.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
3Media has been a fantastic partner for Catholic Charities and we could not be happier with the experience.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and president of a project called The Blood Project. It’s a free and accessible educational website for medical students and physicians in training.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
We needed someone to build our website and provide branding and SEO.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web built our website and implemented unique functionalities and features while utilizing WordPress on the backend. They also provided us with SEO, keyword research, and developed our logo for our branding efforts on the website, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
They first presented a detailed proposal on the development website and split the project into multiple phases, which are the development phase, implementation phase, and post-development phase, where we resolved all the issues of the product.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Mark (President), Jenny (Account Manager), and Ginny (Web Support Representative).
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
We searched for local digital companies on Google, and we hired 3 Media Web because of their extreme dedication and responsiveness to our ideas.
We also found their reporting structure and how they organized their company very helpful for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested about $120,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from February–October 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
In the first several months of engagement, we averaged around 200 users on a daily basis and improved our online traffic and social media engagement.
Now, we’re garnering about 500 users per day, and I credit our progressive growth to 3 Media Web.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
Over time, they proved themselves to be extremely efficient and worked in synergy across all different areas.
We often communicated through Zoom and managed the project through Trello.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were impressed with the product they delivered, the development experience of working with them, and their customer service.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any constructive feedback on their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
3 Media Web drove the process, so it didn’t take a lot of proactive work on my part. We were so in tune with one another that there was never an issue, and I suspect it has something to do with their philosophy.
For anyone looking to work with the team, I suggest you do so now because you’ll be well looked after.

3 Media Web implemented a refer and earn feature for a web-based food delivery system. The team also modified sections of the checkout process on the client's WordPress site. This review was originally 1 star overall for the initial delivery. It was updated by the client on February 3, 2020. The vendor's response is included.
While the project faced support challenges in the beginning, 3 Media Web worked with the client to resolve their issues. They assigned the right team members to address complex tasks, and the final product functions as expected.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
We are a food preparation and delivery business in Boston MA. We gather local and organic ingredients and make fully prepared chilled meals that we deliver to customers' homes. We have been in business since 2013 and serve thousands of meals to thousands of customers all over Greater Boston.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire 3 Media Web?
We aimed to to create a refer and earn functionality so first time customers and promoter customers both win when new customers order our service. We also aimed to streamline our checkout process.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We interviewed several leading web development companies in person and over video conference.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
3 Media Web implemented a Refer and Earn functionality into our website. They also attempted to streamline our checkout process.
What was the team composition?
The project was initially delegated to one developer and one designer at 3 Media Web. An account supervisor was later introduced to improve effectiveness.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The refer and earn functionality was implemented and it works perfectly. 3 Media Web charged us twice what was agreed. After arguing the bill and reminding them of the quote, 3 Media Web then refunded have the charge.
The checkout process streamlining was unsuccessful. Pieces of the project were launched into our live site without proper testing that was disruptive to our business.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project was managed in part by our project manager and by someone at 3 Media Web. The developer was making errors regularly so 3 Media Web allocated an account supervisor to our business and told us she would make immediate contact with us.
After 3 days of now contact, we realized we the project would not be managed effectively. We needed to part ways with 3 Media Web.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The company has a talented designer.
Are there any areas for improvement?
3 Media Web was not capable of understanding the business impact needed by our requirements document and communicating that impact to their web developer. The web developer did not recognize how his development would impact the current functionality.
Code modifications were pushed to our live site, and our customer experience suffered. The company's human resources are all remote and communication and alignment regarding our project were constantly fragmented.
Invoicing at 3 Media Web needs improvement. We received an invoice that was not itemized and was twice the amount agreed upon.

3 Media Web has excellent project management and clearly communicates any progress or setbacks. They’re honest and skilled, making them a reliable partner that exceeds expectations. The website looks great and is easy for non-experts to update and change.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of communications for SigFox U.S.A., a subsidiary of a global IoT telecommunications company. I oversee marketing and internal and external communication for the U.S. market.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web?
Our parent company hosts and maintains the corporate website; however, we needed one that specifically addressed the US market and gave us a digital presence that fit our market and was SEO optimized to drive organic traffic.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
3 Media Web started off with a discovery phase, exploring our goals and what we wanted to accomplish with the website. From there, we started the design phase, with their designers studying our brand guidelines and adhering to them without creating an exact replica of our global site. After that phase, our internal team began writing content, and 3 Media Web started development. Their SEO specialist then looked at our content and provided techniques and insights to improve it, so we went back and revised our copy. 3 Media Web then took our copy and put it into the new site, making sure all of the links were correct and tweaking the design, as needed.
Next, we conducted QA and went live, during which 3 Media Web coached us on how to update and maintain the site ourselves. We currently work with them on any large tweaks and figuring out how to better drive traffic to our site.
What is the team composition?
We had a robust team, which included a digital manager (our main point of contact), SEO expert, customer representative, dev team, and editor. They had a specialist for every task.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
We wanted a boutique agency that was in our same time zone in order to be more of a partner than just a vendor. From there, we chose 3 Media Web because of their skill sets, willingness to use WordPress, and transparent pricing.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $10,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on the project from April–December 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a great job with the design, honoring our company’s brand while also giving us a unique website for the U.S. market. We’ve barely been live for a month, so we haven’t had sufficient time to track and measure our SEO.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
During general development, I talked with the digital manager about once a week. Whenever they brought on a new expert (like SEO or customer service), we also had a few meetings. When we began ramping up to go live, the manager and I met a couple times every week. We had a project management tool but mainly communicated via phone and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have all the resources to provide a full-service digital agency that’s still intimate and customer-oriented.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve talked about bringing their SEO expert in earlier in the process.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Hire the agency that fits your scope. For us, 3 Media Web is a perfect fit for our needs and where we want to grow digitally.

3 Media Web completely revamped a website by developing the backend in WordPress. After creating multiple mockup iterations, they implemented frontend designs and coded accessibility solutions.
Early metrics indicate a successful website launch with an increase in traffic and filled forms. 3 Media Web has a deep well of talent that can manage complex projects efficiently. They work cohesively to accomplish project goals with a personable attitude and offer a great value for the price.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of strategic revenue for 3Play Media. We provide captioning and transcription services that make videos searchable, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with 3 Media Web Solutions?
We needed to completely rebuild our website and improve it aesthetically. The previous version was built five years ago by another designer, so we needed a fresh look and a more accessible platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had some preliminary calls with 3 Media Web to ensure a mutual understanding of our business and the objectives we had for the site. Then, we discussed the different areas of the sitemap, what we wanted to improve, and how the elements fit together. Moving on to design, we considered different looks for the site and how its interactive features would be coordinated. They put together various design mockups over multiple iterations.
They redeveloped the whole site from scratch. Creating most of the backend on WordPress made the page very easy to maintain. For example, we now have a recorded webinars section that allows users to search through a variety of recordings we host. Greatly simplifying the process of creating a new webinar and turning upcoming notifications into actual posts saves us a lot of time on the backend. Once the site was close to going live, we performed an accessibility audit using another vendor. The consultant put together a list of tasks that 3 Media Web completed in order to make the site more accessible.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 6–8 people at different stages of development. This included their founder, the lead designer, and a senior project manager.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web Solutions?
The selection process wasn’t especially difficult, but it was time-consuming. We ended up doing quite a bit of research and having multiple conversations. We found numerous web design firms and thoroughly compared them against criteria we had in place. We found 3 Media Web online and were impressed by their portfolio and the subsequent discussions we had with the team. There wasn’t a close second option, especially at the price they offered.
How much have you invested with them?
Their efforts cost around $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project took place from August 2017–February 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s still early to look deeply at analytics, but we’ve seen some great results so far. Our pricing page is integral to driving traffic and has seen a significant increase in visits and filled forms.
How did 3 Media Web Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Their founder oversaw everything, but we also worked with the lead designer and his team. They worked closely with us throughout the project and kept us updated on any issues as they arose. After the project was transferred to implementation, we worked with their senior project manager and her team. After the site went live, we worked with an ongoing contact for training and support issues. There’ve been a few other people involved with the final accessibility issues. Communication was handled perfectly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a great attitude. I’ve worked with other firms and designers in the past who tended to make collaboration difficult. Everyone at 3 Media Web aligned in terms of completing goals and executing the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. I don’t have any recommendations.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the Marketing Manager for MatTek Corporation, which is a medium-sized biotech company that specializes in tissue engineering.

The goal was to create a modern website that was more reflective of the technology that we have developed over the years. Our former website was very dated and not extremely user-friendly.
With those goals in mind, 3 Media Web worked with us on the layout and the design to create a really beautiful, modern-looking website that just better reflected the level of technology that we produce here at MatTek. It's now extremely user-friendly, and it has multiple levels of interesting design and functionality.

They took our initial comments regarding the broad picture of what we wanted, and they presented us with basically two paths to take as far as the major design of the Wordpress website.
The one that we went with was the waterfall design. It has a focus on large hero images across the screen. We have really cool images of our products, our tissues that we make in house and have, so that was a really great way to feature that content.
From there, we worked with them on the wireframe and the initial, design concept for each section of the website. They started off very broad with selecting the layout. As that became more naturally refined, we began to work on the design concept.
We have these large hero images of our tissues, which I think is probably the most impressive part of our website. They also had to develop, right on the home page, a couple of different sections for each of our product families. Currently, we have two up there, and we're working on a third with them. Our tissue models are reflective of the human body, so they basically created an outline of a human body with clickable dots and links with the locations where each of our tissues would land on the body. We have four skin models that are aligned along the arm, ocular models where the eyes would be, and the lung model where lungs would be. That's a really cool feature that they designed especially for us.
Also, the online store was another feature that they developed for us, which is tricky because a lot of our products are very similar. But we really love the way that that came out.
The third project, our reference library was one of the more trickier projects. This is because we are a biotech company and a lot of our products and our essays are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. We have a collection of these scientific journals that cite our work, our models, and our essays, so we keep track of those. That was a big project to sort all of those out, make them searchable and accessible on the website. That was another feature that they made just for us that I'm very pleased with.
The online store itself is a WooCommerce platform within WordPress. 3 Media Web worked with us to link Authorize.Net, which is what we use to process online credit cards. They also linked our FedEx and UPS accounts so that we can pass on our cost to the customer so they're not paying the normal FedEx rate, they're paying the MatTek FedEx rate. The API linkage was part of that whole project.
When the website was being built, they did SEO for us, but we also have installed, in the Wordpress backend, Yoast SEO. It is incredibly easy to use. Every time I build a page, everything that I need is right there to guide me.
How did you come to work with 3 Media Web?
I searched for Boston area web developers once I knew that I wanted to redo our website, and I interviewed, I would say, five to seven different companies. 3 Media Web was by far the most responsive and offered to come in and meet with us, scheduled an in-person meeting, which I think also helped tip the scales in their favor. They were clearly going to be so great to work with, Mark [Founder, 3 Media Web] and especially their designer, Robby. It was great to meet them in person, and right from the get-go because it just established that relationship from the beginning. We all worked really well together. They really knew what they were doing. You could tell.
How much have you invested with them?
Our budget for the website was $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first started working with them in the summer of 2015, and the website launched the end of December 2015.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We immediately noticed better quality traffic hitting the website, especially because of more relevant SEO that was built in. We noticed that more pages were visited, people spent more time on the website, and our online purchases did go up. The online revenue generated by the website did go up.
How did 3 Media Web perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great. We always had set deadlines, and there was constant communication back and forth between MatTek and 3 Media Web. No one was ever left hanging by them, so that was great. When it really became crunch time, Mark, and my boss, and I were on the phone together until like 3 o'clock in the morning. We wanted to meet a particular deadline and they did everything that they had to do to make that happen, to make sure that everything was working properly and was bench-tested before it went live. I really appreciated kind of that sacrifice of an entire night's sleep to help us make that happen, they were great.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I would say that their design concepts are outstanding. I mean, our website really stands alone within our competitors and customers within our industry. We constantly get complimented on the design of our website and how it looks so impressive and how much better it reflects what we do here as far as our technology.
Also, the ongoing customer service has been fantastic. Rachel is someone who handles our service contract. If I have questions about how to create a page a certain way, or if there is a plugin issue on the website, which can happen sometimes when they update, Rachel is right on it immediately. I've always gotten excellent support from them even after the project was completed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think so. Honestly, we really enjoyed working with them and we've continued to do so over the past couple of years as far as building out other sections of the website as our product families expand. Their responsiveness is great, their design concepts are great, and they meet deadlines. I would say that there wasn't really any part of the project that was frustrating to me, it went really smoothly.
