What challenge were you trying to address with 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency?

In 2000, we hired 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency to design and develop a website after we launched our first USB flash drive. The USB technology was new at that time and few people understood the concept. Since most people stilled used floppy discs, we needed to create an environment where people could access our website and understand the flash drive’s significance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team designed the website’s UI for B2B and B2C audiences—both end users and resellers. Neither online video nor flash design was readily available in 2000; these technological limitations challenged the team to create an effective and compelling home page. During briefs with the product management team, they asked several questions about the product’s highlight’s, efficiency, as well as our goals for the drive. Subsequently, 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency held internal brainstorming sessions at their office and presented design options to our team.

What is the team composition?

We worked with about five people in total. The team included a project manager, two or three designers, and an HTML team. We also interacted with the head of the company.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website increased the number of interactions we had with prospects; unfortunately, web traffic tracking didn’t exist in 2000. From a design standpoint, the UI design achieved the effect we wanted to capture. The site was high quality and cutting-edge. Despite the limited development capabilities of the time, 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency managed to create short, but breathtaking, flash-based video content.

How did 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was a pleasure to work with because they felt like an extension of our company. 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency’s designs demonstrated their complete understanding of our product and company. They produced brilliant ideas for the site that successfully communicated our message. We interacted primarily via email, but also phone as needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their design skills were on par with the latest technology at the time. The team researched new and efficient tools, and incorporated them into the web build as appropriate. Also, 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency handily identified flaws in the UX to improve our existing system.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Since the engagement ended, I’ve worked with other vendors that haven’t performed at the level 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency did. They were personable and delivered results.

No, I can’t think of anything specific to 2CENTS UX Strategy and Design Agency.
