What was the scope of their involvement?

Our goal is to make language learning as engaging as possible while still ensuring that words are retained in learners’ long-term memory. The app is a flashcard-based memory platform that helps users learn new languages through repetition. The algorithm shows users repeated words when they’re likely to have forgotten them to ensure information is retained. 

They were responsible for providing the features and functionalities. We started with a brainstorming session, and I provided some general documentation and wireframes for what the final app should look like.

They examined the requirements and began feature planning to determine a technical direction for each feature. From there, they delegated tasks to different developers to execute.

They reached out to me in response to a YouTube video I made discussing a potential app. Their team said the app sounded interesting and feasible for them to tackle. I was confident they’d be able to help out.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Despite my lack of technical expertise, they were able to turn my ideas into a reality. It was very helpful to have technical experts on the project that could effectively and intuitively understand my goals. They were able to provide me with an app that could do everything I expected and more. 

I have some wild ideas, but they’ve been able to turn each complex idea into a reality. They’ve never said anything is impossible.

Communication has always been very strong. They hit their deadlines, so I have no complaints. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their openness to my ideas, intuitive understanding of my goals, and quick turnaround times all make them stand out. If I have an idea for a feature, it doesn’t take them long to get on the same page. Everything’s been handled in a reasonable way.

No, I’m 100% satisfied so far.

Start with a clear idea of your goals. Especially when it comes to development, it’s a good idea to have visual aids or representations for them. That will make everything move much faster.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final project turned out just as we expected. All features are working flawlessly. One of the things that stands out to me is the responsiveness of the chat. Messages are sent and received almost instantaneously, which makes for an engaging conversation. The ability to see when the other person is typing is also a nice touch. Also, the chat interface is sleek and modern, and the UX is seamless.

The workflow was organized perfectly. Everyone was on the same page, and we always received project status updates.
