Delikarta Image

Delikarta

We have created a visual identity for a new loyalty program for the nationwide chain of Delikatesy Centrum stores. The network includes several thousand points throughout Poland. The project involved the creation of a name, logo, card appearance and promotional materials.

The program allows cardholders to use promotional prices for selected products. Our task was to create materials that will become part of the daily

life of the customers and stress that lower prices do not have to involve a compromise in terms of quality and taste.

Mara Chai Corporate Identity Image

Mara Chai Corporate Identity

Mara Chai is a Kenyan company established in 2013, with a vision to bring to the cups of tea lovers from all over the world something that they have been missing – authentic, well cured, expertly crafted & flavored Green, Purple, and Black Kenyan teas.

Our task was to create an outstanding corporate identity for the brand that entered the market. Considering and inspired by the fact that the brand

is located within the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve and that Kenya is inhabited by the Maasai tribes, we have created a characteristic brand image. We have used the images of lion, elephant, rhino, and giraffe and mixed that with the elements referring to the Maasai art and culture.

The new websites have received positive feedback from key stakeholders. 1000ideas kept the projects moving (and on budget) through constant communication, providing critical status updates throughout the engagement. The team’s quality deliverables set them up for continued engagement.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm one of the managing directors and co-founders of CapSys Group.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with 1000ideas?

We needed help with a refresh of our company website, as well as creating a new website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

1000ideas did everything related to website development. They worked with myself and my team on the design and the look and feel of both sites. They also built the pages, set up the hosting, and led other backend aspects.

What is the team composition?

I have one main counterpart who I talked to, and he made it all happen. I don't know the extent of the team behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with 1000ideas?

They were referred to me by a friend and colleague that worked with them extensively over the years. They came highly recommended.

How much have you invested with them?

I think we spent under $25,000 for both sites.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in Q4 of 2017, and they finished in May 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I continue to work with 1000ideas on other projects, so that speaks to their success. We're a small company, and all the partners are happy with both websites. The website refresh helps us come across as more credible with our clients, and even appear as larger than we are.

The new website for our Gig Academy was delayed because of issues on our end. They finished the site in May, and we'll be starting it this year.

How did 1000ideas perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re super responsive. The communication was through regular calls over Skype, and then everything else was done by email. We had delays and some short timelines. They're flexible enough to meet both. Also, it's really nice to speak to just one person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

1000ideas provides great value compared to other providers. The price matches the worth of the final products.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not for what we've asked them to do so far. We're set to work with them on an app, so we'll see how that goes.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re excellent if you're looking to get up a nice web presence quickly. I can’t speak to their full range of services, but I recommend contacting them to scope out your project.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

Regatta Ltd is an outdoor clothing brand. At the time of the project, I was the marketing manager of the company's Central and Eastern Europe division.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with 1000ideas?

We wanted to build brand awareness within the region and increase sales with effective marketing strategies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

1000ideas provided a mix of traditional and digital marketing services. Their team prepared drafts for in-store promotional banners for our company and all of our franchise partners. They also produced visual content for our e-commerce site and social media platforms.

What is the team composition?

We mostly worked with the account manager and marketing consultant.

How did you come to work with 1000ideas?

During our first conversation, we quickly discovered that 1000ideas was true to their name. While other companies offered a standard template, 1000ideas gave us a wide range of initiatives that appeared to be a perfect blend of creativity and effectiveness.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $50,000 during the two years that we partnered with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from May 2016–April 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The visual content that they created was true to our brand, but radical enough to engage new audiences. We were especially pleased with the quality of the promotional banners that they made for our physical locations.

How did 1000ideas perform from a project management standpoint?

During our weekly phone conferences, we discussed the current agenda and set reasonable benchmark goals. Their team worked diligently to ensure that all deliverables were sent in before the deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

1000ideas took the time to understand the complexity of our industry and where our brand fits into the bigger picture. Their endless curiosity showed us that they genuinely cared about our success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While there is always room for improvement, we did not experience any difficulties while working with 1000ideas.
