A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the business development manager of big data at T-Mobile Polska.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10 Senses?
We hired 10 Senses to develop new big data analytics formats on the market.
What was the scope of their involvement?
10 Senses helped us organize data to glean insights from them. We’d work with the team as we met with clients to find out their needs. Once we knew the clients’ expectations, 10 Senses would prepare the data and deliver our insights to the client.
What is the team composition?
I worked with their CEO.
How did you come to work with 10 Senses?
We sent out an RFP; that was how we found 10 Senses
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $20,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement lasted from April 2018–December 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We measured success based on whether they delivered on time — they did. 10 Senses met our expectations and gave us analytics and reports that fit our clients’ requirements.
How did 10 Senses perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is great. We used Jira to manage the project. To communicate, we used phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and online meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They worked hard to meet the deadlines they’d committed to — they always delivered on time. When we gave them feedback to improve our engagement, they were quick to respond.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Clarify your needs and approach everything in a straightforward manner. That way, you’ll be satisfied with your engagement with 10 Senses.

Data Architecture & IoT Dev for Spare Parts Distributor
“I was really impressed with 10 Senses’ knowledge of data in all aspects.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a chief product owner at Inter Cars, a spare parts distributor.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10 Senses?
Our company built a car management system that transmits data from a vehicle directly to our platform through a telematics dongle. Our goal was to be able to send that information directly to vehicle workshops and garages in real-time, but we didn’t have the in-house capabilities to do that. So, we decided to hire a company to develop a portal that could obtain and process that data and make it available to other systems.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired 10 Senses to design, develop, and implement a vehicle management system based on the system that we already had. It consisted of IoT devices and mobile apps on a serverless backend. They also developed an architecture for data storage and data flows, which was optimized for advanced analytics.
They were in charge of refining and processing the data and writing the algorithms involved in processing data. This basically involved taking millions of records of raw data, such as vehicle speed, location, and mileage, and turning them into recommendations or alerts that would then be sent to the vehicle’s driver through a mobile app, which Marek (CTO) also helped design.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a business analyst and a data scientist from 10 Senses.
How did you come to work with 10 Senses?
I already knew Marek because we had previously worked together in another company 12 years ago. So, when we started searching for a company for this project, I knew we had to reach out to them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around €50,000 (approximately $57,000 USD) in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on this project from April 2019 – October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project was put on hold last November, so there aren’t any metrics available in terms of the number of users just yet. But we were able to onboard 75 car garages to sell our telematics dongle.
How did 10 Senses perform from a project management standpoint?
10 Senses employed an Agile approach, and we used Jira to collaborate with them.
We primarily used Microsoft Teams for our day-to-day communication, but we also had frequent in-person meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was really impressed with 10 Senses’ knowledge of data in all aspects. They have a really broad, but at the same time in-depth expertise in data science. They’re not just experts at collecting data — they also have a solid command of the different platforms involved in processing data, along with the ability to make sense of it.
I also appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were. What we were doing was a big unknown, even for us, and some things took longer to build than we had anticipated. 10 Senses was always willing to accommodate the changes in the project’s scope and work longer hours when needed.
Overall, I’d say they’re one of the most involved and committed companies I’ve ever worked with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
10 Senses is a relatively small company, so whenever we had to execute additional tasks, it was really hard to scale up our team. Other than that, I can’t really think of anything I would advise them to improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a conversation with them and give them a chance to convince you. The area they cater to is quite complicated, but they’re really good at explaining things in a way that someone without their knowledge could understand.
The company was pleased with 10 Senses’ ability to deliver on time. The team also provided analytics that met the end customers’ requirements. They worked hard to meet all deadlines and proved to be highly responsive and receptive to feedback. Overall, the engagement was a success.
