We launched our MVP in 2019 with another company which was developed on a technology stack which was becoming redundant and difficult to find developers to fix and even update the most basic of information.
After a long search, we engaged Zluck Solutions to redevelop our entire platform on a new technology stack, and new fresh UX/UI to make things a lot easier to manage, not only for administrator users, but also our end users.

A very slick website with similar design elements we were looking for with our own development was what caught my attention first up. Their linked portfolio of work also looked impressive from a design and implementation aspect.
Then, when making the enquiry - communication was prompt, clear and very helpful even before securing the contract. Maulik, the Zluck company director, was very hands on with my enquiry and answered everything clearly and promptly which gave me great confidence that the decision i was making was the right one.

Without too much development knowledge myself, I knew exactly what i wanted, had a full suite of UX/UI design slides and a full user flow diagram written up prior to engagement. The moment Zluck team saw the preparation I had put into our idea to improve our MVP into a new tech stack - they knew what to do and executed everything to perfection.
They converted my Adobe XD files into working code, and were happy to make design suggestions as they went through through that process (eg, suggesting changes to font sizes, how buttons were displayed to the user, making things better with mobile devices etc). They then proposed a high level milestone document which was followed and often delivered upon ahead of schedule.
Deployment once everything was finished and approved was seamless too. They had to write custom scripts to migrate data and payment information from our old database to the new - and everything worked from the moment we turned the system on LIVE to our users.

My main communication was with Maulik (director) and Ashvin (project manager). Under Ashvin was a team of 8 (approx) working on the project including front end, back end, designers and QA who all worked together without any troubles and Ashvin communicated all our feedback and change requests to the team which were actioned promptly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Since launching on the new platform with new notification options and features for our users - usership has grown and there's a consistent flow of traffic. Feedback from our users has been extremely positive.

Our project manager was brilliant as they always communicated clearly and promptly, and was there to action any of our change requests almost instantly!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Communication and their ability to simply and professionally get things done to perfection. I am also very impressed that the development team took it upon themselves to add improvements to the user flow and make those decisions prior to showing me milestone updates. All those improvements decisions made independently of my brief were perfect and made sense.

I honestly cannot think of anything negative or anything they can improve upon. Our project was completed perfectly, ahead of schedule, and we could not be any more happier with the outcome.

The Zluck team helped us set up a very complex booking tool in WordPress. This includes a dynamic search and filter function linked to a database and an admin dashboard for event organizers with all the necessary functions to create an event. The database link works in both directions, allowing data to be written to and read from the database and displayed on the homepage. There is also an administrator interface for higher-level rights to approve and edit events and evaluate bookings. The whole thing was kept in a design specified by us.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We worked in a shared document where we specified our requirements, and the Zluck team responded directly with screenshots and proposed solutions as soon as they were implemented. And implementation was always extremely fast. As soon as the first demo version was ready, we received the access data and were able to test it ourselves. We were in close contact about requirements, functions, and errors, and saw every change directly on the test page. This allowed us to keep a constant eye on progress. Communication couldn't have been better!
After completion, the team helped us migrate to our server and corrected minor errors that arose during the transfer.

I cannot praise the Zluck team enough. Special thanks go to Maulik, Divyesh, and Aishvarya, who were always there to offer advice and support. Spot Check is well-known for delivering expert skin cancer care in Melbourne, but its website didn’t provide the same experience. Organic growth had resulted in huge traffic, but the user experience was poor, and the average engagement time was low. Spot Check needed a completely new site architecture and refreshed design system that could deliver a better customer experience.
We knew we needed to bring clarity to the Spot Check brand by articulating its purpose and positioning through a big-picture lens, rather than focusing just on the medical services they provide.
Research and user experience Our process started with an in-depth content audit and high-fidelity wireframes. These steps helped us refine page goals, content structure, storytelling, and the overall customer journey before moving into UI design.
Recognising that SEO was driving significant traffic to key pages, we prioritised maintaining and enhancing SEO performance as a critical element of the redesign.
Defining the website architecture For Spot Check, we re-architected the entire site to build a stronger connection between the scientific information on medical conditions, the treatments available and the expert practitioners that perform the treatments.
UI designs then began to solve the problem of how to communicate that information visually. We brought the brand to life using new photography and messaging and worked to position Spot Check as a more holistic provider of skin health treatments.
A key design involved the main navigation and footer, key areas that not only create a cohesive experience for users but also enable users to navigate hundreds of pages of content.
A modular template system was created to enable better flexibility in the backend and higher engagement for users exploring long pages of content.
Website design A suite of icons were developed to provide a friendly, open feel to direct users to key content, while landing pages direct users to specific, deeper content. Previously unordered blog pages were re-tagged into one new section, and the FAQs content was neatly housed in accordion-style slide-outs.
Website build
The development phase came with several important constraints. The existing site was large and complex, requiring a detailed page mapping and migration plan to ensure nothing was lost in transition. The new build needed to accommodate a wide range of flexible content modules using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), all while maintaining mobile responsiveness and fast load speeds.
The team navigated these technical demands with precision. They implemented ACF in a way that gave us control without compromising performance, optimised the site for speed, and followed SEO best practices to help preserve our strong search rankings post-launch. The result is a clean, responsive, and high-performing site that meets both user and backend needs.

I’m the founder of Love Expands, a mobile app and website dedicated to wellness and inspiration.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zluck Solutions?
We were looking for a service provider that could build our vision.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Zluck has helped us develop our mobile app and website using a lot of different technologies to achieve complete customization. They’ve used WordPress for the website, and they’ve developed the app for iOS and Android devices, creating an API so that the site can communicate with the app and vice versa.
Zluck is also capable of doing design work, and they’ve collaborated with us in that regard. However, I typically use a design firm for the design work. Then, we hand over the designs to Zluck to execute the development work. We’re constantly working with them on new iterations of the app, and they’re continuously building new features per our request.
Our app offers inspirational quotes, positive affirmations, and good news stories to users. One of its greatest features is the user's ability to customize how those quotes look so that they can download them as an image. With this feature, users can customize the quotes' color, background, and font so that they can design an image to their liking, share it with friends, and keep it to themselves for inspiration.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with around 6–7 people from Zluck over the years, including Malik (CEO), project managers, and developers.
How did you come to work with Zluck Solutions?
After working with several companies before and finding no success, I did my due diligence and looked at several service providers that could help me out. I found Zluck on Upwork. After looking at their portfolio, I talked to Malik, and my experience was very positive.
Zluck’s price was very reasonable as well, so I decided to give them a chance and work with them on a small project. After that project, my confidence in them grew, and I appreciated how communicative and transparent they were. Thus I kept giving them more work, and our partnership grew and blossomed into what it is today.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with Zluck for over three years now. We started working together in October 2019 on the WordPress website, and we pivoted our efforts towards developing the mobile app in June 2021. Still, if I had other projects, I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Zluck on those projects as well, assuming that they have the bandwidth and interest.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Currently, we’re waiting on one more release before starting our aggressive marketing efforts for this app, so we don’t have any metrics regarding the app’s performance. Still, we’re very excited about this launch because, after a lot of work, we’re very happy with where the platform is.
I’m also very proud to see that, even though we haven’t marketed the app, people have found it, downloaded it, and even rated it on the App Store and Google Play. Our average rating on both platforms is about five stars, which is not easy to achieve. These results speak about the app’s stability and performance, which our users appreciate.
How did Zluck Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Zluck is great at communicating, and they provide timely responses even though we’re several time zones apart. At first, I was reluctant to work with them due to the time difference. Nonetheless, it has never been an issue. Their team regularly checks in with us and keeps the lines of communication open. We communicate daily with them over Trello, email, and, occasionally, Skype.
In technology, no product is perfect, so bugs are expectable. However, Zluck is in charge of QA. Whenever bugs pop up, they’re very quick and responsive in fixing them. Additionally, if I want to add new features, they’re very receptive to my requests and regularly deliver on them.
Zluck’s team is also very receptive to my ideas, and their developers are very thoughtful. Sometimes, I suggest something, and they come back with suggestions and recommendations that let us know that they’ve been brainstorming on their end. I really appreciate their proactive approach.
Moreover, I love the fact that Zluck doesn’t nickel-and-dime. If something doesn’t work properly with our product, they fix it in their own time without billing us for that time. Overall, we appreciate their work and professionalism in ensuring that our product works as it should.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been working with Zluck for over three years, so I don’t see them as a service provider anymore; I now see them as a partner. They’re really vested in our happiness and success. Finding a company we can trust and build a relationship with has been wonderful for us.
There are a lot of different companies we can use, some of which are better than others. However, the thing that makes Zluck stand out from the others is the trust we have in them. They’re honest, competent, and communicative, and they can get the job done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m very satisfied with Zluck’s services; still, they could improve their QA and testing. They’ve significantly improved in that area over the years, so it would be good if they kept improving.
