They established a powerful portfolio of content which consisted of case studies, articles about the trends in the industry and such other documentation that spotlighted the challenges that we overcame. These case studies helped demonstrate our methods in dealing with problems, and showed the commitment and quality behind each of the projects that we handled.

YOUYAA also came up with several project walkthrough videos, captured interviews with our clients and created “day in the life” style videos showing the work environment and the people centered culture that we have. They made sure that every content piece was relevant and provided information but most importantly was speaking to how friendly, professional and client oriented our company is.

I’m a partner at Super Retro Gamer, a gaming company.

What challenge were you trying to address with YouYaa?

We had very little awareness of our business, and we were constantly calling people, going to events, and sending emails, but we didn't get any positive results. We were doing our own social media and video production, and we were struggling to keep everything on top of things. Therefore, our marketing wasn’t very good, so we looked for a marketing agency and found YouYaa.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We work primarily with Zeeshan, the CEO, who provides us with weekly consultancy and acts as our fractional CMO. He’s involved in all the conversations, sits in on our meetings, and comes to our business dealings whenever he’s in the country. He provides a level of experience and knowledge that we don’t have within the business, specifically within marketing.

We’re good on the technology side of things and at running events and conferences, but we’re not very good at understanding the human psychology behind marketing. Within that consultancy, Zeeshan has streamlined our marketing communications and processes. We use their company for our social media, PR services, and advertising. Starting next month, we’ll also do SEO work with them.

YouYaa basically does everything related to marketing from beginning to end. We run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), YouTube, and Google, so they do a little bit of paid search. Their team also handles the creative assets and copywriting. Moreover, they've recommended reducing the amount of email marketing we previously did.

What is the team composition?

We generally only speak to Zeeshan. Every now and then, we speak to one of the ad copy teammates and a gentleman in the Dubai office who does all of our advertising and copywriting for the ads. We've also worked with Sophia, who supports Zeeshan on a daily basis. However, we’ve never spoken to their content writers, and most of our communication with them is through email.

How did you come to work with YouYaa?

We found YouYaa through our network. They were mentioned to us and recommended to us. We were looking at three different agencies, and Zeeshan and Sophia gave us so much value upfront during the pitch process. They were so helpful and willing to assist from the beginning without any cost or charge. They did so much free of charge for us at the beginning to show that they were good people and could work well.

They were the second most expensive agency out of the three, but we went with them because of the connection we felt with them. We felt like they cared, and the last two years have been exactly that. They’re very caring people, and we’ve never felt like they’re trying to get money out of us all the time. They always give value and overdeliver right from the very beginning.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed the original contract in September 2022, so our newest contract started in September 2024. We'll renew every September.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we started working with them, we’ve had about a 730% increase in revenue, which has been absolutely top-notch and unbelievable results for us. For example, we only started doing YouTube work with them in the last month. We went from doing it ourselves, where we created something like 50 videos, to doing two with them. With just those two videos, we went from 26 followers to 1,100. The project has been revolutionary in terms of how YouYaa has developed us.

How did YouYaa perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a project management system that we can log into and see the status of all the different projects and campaigns. I can speak to them directly through their project management system. They always give us feedback, and they almost always stick to their timeline. If they can’t, they’re very communicative and explain everything. Everything is always very reasonable.

We’ve had absolutely no problems with YouYaa from the communication side. The project management system has been fantastic because we didn’t have one before, which has completely changed the way we run the business in general. They deliver on time, and I have no complaints whatsoever.

YouYaa also got us to use HubSpot, and through their relationship, they were able to give us a really good discounted deal for five years. All of our marketing and communication is now run through that platform.

I would like to give a shout-out to Zeeshan. He's always available and a very nice person. He's always very helpful as well.

Sophia and Zeeshan are very honest and decent people. It’s very nice to work with them. Whenever they give us feedback, it’s well thought through. When it comes to problems and challenges, they always take their fair share of responsibility.
