As at 23 August 2021 we had paid a total of USD$133,380 to Webini. This figure represents 71.65% of the initial budget of USD$186,160 There were no milestones ever delivered. Those payments should should have represented delivery of the following milestones:
MS0 - Project Initiation (Paid in Full) $11,170
MS1 - Dashboard (Paid in Full) $85,634 *Delivery date should have been 3 Sept 2021
MS2 - CopyTrading (Paid in Full) $26,062 *Delivery date should have been 11 Oct 2021
MS3 - Subscription & Payments (Partial pmt) $10,514 *Delivery date should have been 15 Oct 2021
We received two further invoices, they should have represented:

If we were to pay Invoice 7 and 8, this would mean we would have paid a total of $174,928 or 94% of the original budget (leaving only $11,232 of the original budget outstanding) and deliverables for that should have been:
There was no scope creep. We raised missed milestones and related issues many times with the 2nd Project Manager and with the CEO Damian. We insisted on delivery of Milestone 1 before we could make any further payments. We were held to ransom for payment of invoices 7 & 8 before they would release copies of code and database backups. Throughout the project Damian insisted that all payments be made to an offshore account in the UK not to Webini accounts in Poland as as they were apparently relocating to the UK. Was this just a scam? No milestones were ever delivered. Should never have trusted Damian. The project has been paused (indefinitely).

Webini prepared a very detailed analysis of the performance of our Platform with an indication of all elements affecting the speed of the site. Based on the collected data, they pledged to double the speed of the Platform and delivered that promise. The optimization work was carried out not only on the Platform, but also on the server-side, where their specialists engaged their internal tools.
While they were busy optimizing our performance, Webini also showed us the possibility of reducing the costs of infrastructure maintenance by almost half, which was a pleasant surprise for us, because this input goes way beyond the agreed scope of work.

We had five experts involved in the project: Two developers, a Linux Server Administrator, a Tester and a Project Manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The boost of the Platform's speed is clearly noticeable - it works much faster on both mobile and desktop. Webini's input has definitely improved the performance of our Platform. Not to mention the infrastructure cost reduction that we've been benefiting from right from the beginning.
For now, it is too early to describe the actual impact this improvement will have on our business, but we sure expect that improved performance of the Platform will positively affect the level of customer satisfaction and make them visit our website more often and for longer.
After the positive closure of this project, we've decided we'll stay with Webini for an ongoing technical assistance.

In line with our desire to follow new technologies, we decided to introduce AMP to our websites to further speed up page loading time and to increase the comfort of using our portals on mobile devices. We also wanted to increase the scalability of this project due to the size and quantity of our portals.

We announced a tender that Webini applied to. While other companies kept asking us questions and spent time preparing detailed quotes, Webini visited our headquarters with a ready-made prototype—it was a move that actually led us to choose them as our contractor.
In addition, we knew that Webini already had experience in speeding up the operation of websites and in implementing technologies supported by Google. We were impressed by their motivation, commitment, and non-standard approach.

Webini has conducted the entire implementation on the 23 platforms we have asked for. Our cooperation did not end with the implementation—Webini still provides proper maintenance of technology and responds to the current needs of our websites.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
All elements have been prepared flawlessly and in accordance with the guidelines. The first iteration of the product has passed 99.9% validation of AMP standards and handled over one million users the next day!
Our load time is now seven times shorter than it was prior to implementing AMP. This was the main goal of this project, and we are very satisfied with the results. We have also noticed a positive impact on the number of users who visit our websites.
The quality of their work has allowed us to save time by preventing unnecessary downtime of services. Their development processes had no adverse effect on the smoothness of our editors' work.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We have used Redmine for task management. We also connected over several calls and exchanged emails quite frequently.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They made a very positive first impression on us. We liked that, unlike other companies taking part in the tender, instead of taking the time to prepare a paper offer, they immediately took action and showed us a physical prototype.
During the development, we only had a few minor comments about the front-end layer that did not have a significant impact on the operation of the technology itself. The value for us is also the fact that the implementation did not in any way hamper the liquidity of our editors and did not stop the functioning of the website even for a while.
We were also positively surprised by the fact that the project they implemented began to perform well so quickly. We assumed that after the first implementation, it would be necessary to introduce changes and improvements, and it turned out that there was no such need. This is a great value, especially if we also take into account the fact that the technical requirements that we requested from them were very restrictive.

I’m the co-founder, VP, and CTO of tpay, a payment service provider. We provide merchants with payment methods so that they can connect their online store and use our service to accept payment.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webini?
We faced dynamic growth and needed to rework our platform to be able to scale.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve worked on multiple projects with Webini starting with a web application which is our core platform. We began with an audit of our code that showed what components of the platform would hold us back from scaling. We shared our business goals and requirements with them and they proposed solutions to implement. They delivered in modules so we can use the new components almost immediately. The second project they developed was to create the infrastructure and credit card environment backend to meet industry requirements. They migrated the existing base from our previous system to the new environment which took about three months. They work in PHP, Linux, MySQL, Node.js, and Elasticsearch, among others.
What is the team composition?
We work directly with a project manager. The number of developers we work with depends on our needs. We started working with six at the beginning and now we work with 11.
How did you come to work with Webini?
I searched for experts on the Polish market and interviewed over 20 different individual developers and software houses. They’ve accomplished a huge number of tasks and managed to decrease the technical complexity of our platform significantly. The system is stable and available, with adequate security and infrastructure. We passed an external audit at the highest level of achievement, which is hard to do. We’re very happy with what they’ve delivered.
How did Webini perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate with them on a weekly basis and have regular video conferences to discuss objectives and share our screens to monitor progress. Our project manager deals with requests and they provide weekly and monthly progress reports. They’re open to any communication we want to introduce between our companies and willing to work with the project management tools we use internally. They handle communication very well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They deliver very quickly, even three times faster than other developers I’ve worked with. They’re top talent that’s hard to match.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could have more developers on staff—but when we’ve had high demand they’ve been able to recruit people for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust them because they know what they’re doing. You may think you know better but they’re experts. We’ve had many times where they’ve proposed better solutions than what we could come up with. Trust that they’ll propose the solutions that are best suited to meet your technical needs.
