WD market had to build automatic documentation system for our e-commerce marketplace with 50 different variations of buyer/seller according to Latvian laws. It was almost impossible to do however they delivered.

The system had to follow many many rules to show the correct information that automatically would be send to accountants to various companies. It did take time to make it work, we are so glad that WD Market did not give up as the task was close to impossible to complete.

They use online communication witch can be frustrating at times however we have had several online meetings witch help to clear things out. They respond well, our needs where pretty hard to explain but at the end they mad it work !

WD Market helped us build a new WordPress webshop and went a step further by developing an AI-based tool to monitor our webshop and B2B sales results. This tool saves us hours of manual work that we previously spent tracking results in Excel spreadsheets and collecting data from multiple platforms and tables. As a company manager, it’s important for me to keep track of results online and be able to access them quickly with just a few clicks. We were especially impressed by the fast development process and the smooth communication throughout the project. I appreciated that there were never objections about something being impossible—only immediate proposals with several options for solving each problem. It’s not easy to exceed our expectations, but in this case, WD Market clearly did.

We have just started the project, therefore it is too early to measure the outcomes.

The communication was really easy. Each team member had a clear task which was assigned by team leader. For me as a customer it was easy to track progress and ask for adjustments when necessary. 

Also, excellent time tracking, progress reports every Saturday and great overall attitude to the project - not pushy, but also not procastinating.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

First, the Business Development Team Lead Tomass did excellent work by selling the project to me and also efortlessly organizing everything in the team. For me, it was very easy to trust that the work would be done in an effective manner. My project was involved in government programme for e-commerce development, and Tomass was assisting with advice through the application and finalization.

From the organization point of view, there was prepared spreadsheets and all develpment steps were communicated effectively, so I didn't have to worry about anything. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something WD Market could have done differently?

Only thing I would suggest is to pay more attention when developing instructions for customer when website is already done. Most people don't have IT knowledge and more details in navigating the admin part of the page would be helpful. For my project, I received few videos with instructions, but they were quite superficial. I expected more explanatory content.

WDM team developed all the backbone for our mobile device accessory store goodcover.eu. They made sure everything works as it's supposed to - from blog page to payment solutions. On top of that they provided us with educational content so we could safely add products and other content to the store.

Communication was online almost 24/7. Where I had a question or need something done - project lead Einārs either responded himself or forwarded the inquiry to other WDM team members.

Jānis did fantastic job as a developer. Where there were errors or glitches - fixes were provided fast or within 24 hours latest.

There's still much to praise. We aimed for a clean, user friendly store that is minimalistic in visual stimuli, but rich in content provided. One product card contain 1000+ variations, all sorted neatly. Thanks to WDM team!

Initially, only two, the owner of the company and the project manager, joined the programmer very soon after, and one more later, bringing together about 3-4 people involved.

There have been considerable eCommerce metric improvements in various main pages, as products, cart, checkout, on which the work was mostly done and was requested. The analysis was made in the period of 1st of august to today vs the previous period. The main goal was to focus on fixing back-end issues related to subscription payments and daily operations.

Overall the communication has been very positive. There have been various misunderstandings and improvements throughout the cooperation, which is continuing to improve. For a fast-growing company with the need to be flexible and creative with different solutions, sometimes the support for the solution was very long and delayed the implementation of other solutions. In general, very fast solutions are not expected. Work reports could also be a bit transparent, just in terms of descriptions of tasks. Cooperation would require more receptivity over things.

Their approach to mobilize to get things done. They really care and try to make complicated or even impossible things happen.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They need to understand that company stakeholders mostly don't understand or don't want to understand the details of some parts of e-commerce, rather than growth in sales numbers, which is fine, and there is no point in explaining why it's very hard or not possible to do something, when in reality, all that matters for the client is to keep business moving forwards so that being said to take more responsibility and find a solution on your own, providing an effective and lasting solution, otherwise the competence and suitability of the partner for the ability to implement non-standard solutions and ideas are reviewed differently.
