I am a business coach for entrepreneurial women. I work with women in their first seven years of business.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Wax Creek?
We needed overall branding help. There aren’t too many coaches that cover business and life needs, so I was having a hard time figuring out how to message that and brand it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked on marketing campaigns that clarified my messaging. The best success we had was with our direct email marketing campaign, in which she helped us develop an improved system. Stephanie (CEO, Wax Creek) helped me understand my clients and what their needs were. I learned how to speak to them and how to reach them.
What is the team composition?
I only dealt with Stephanie. She had other people work on her team.
How did you come to work with Wax Creek?
I met Stephanie through a young professionals networking group. When she talks about branding, she lights up the room. You could tell she had answers.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested around $4,500 total.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Wax Creek helped increase the read rate on emails to 35%–42% from a previous average of 16%–18%. Their efforts also converted those readers into customers. Wax Creek also taught me how to repeat the process. I don’t need to seek out clients very often now. The work made my business reliant on incoming leads, which is great.
How did Wax Creek perform from a project management standpoint?
We met in person a couple of times. We also spoke on the phone, Slack, and via email a lot. Documents were shared over Slack. She’s always available to meet in person.
What did you find most impressive about them?
She has a unique ability to jump into your business and understand it immediately. It was so simple to work with her because she spent so much time figuring out what that was. It made the process a lot smoother. I trusted her answers and got results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have anything for you. She’s great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go into it thinking of the long-term, not just for short-term results. She can help you with everything. We’re going to start a new project next year, and I wish I’d started it at the beginning to save time.
