We consume two types of services from Vangwe:

• IT Staff Augmentation (3 developers): We use this service for differents projects inside the company but the main purpouse is the service is the cretion of a new platform for the services that Monnet Provides.
• Data architect (consulting services): Develop a data warehouse to provide preprocessed information to our BI team to build dashboards.

We work with Scrum methodology, every sprint has a working deliverable.

The projects were deliverable on time, according to the estimates provided.

I’m the CTO of a stealth mode Fintech startup company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vangwe, and what were your goals?

We needed to build a POC to validate our initial ideas about our product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We got good referrals and the team made a good impression when we interviewed them.

The POC included two different systems, the first was a simple version of our product, implemented as two services: a backend that was developed with node.js and a frontend in react. The second system was a data-gathering tool also implemented in node.js.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 3 people on the team: 2 were developers (one was senior) and a project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The POC was developed successfully and allowed us to push forward with our company plans.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management style was great, with two sync meetings per week and ongoing communication by email and slack. And more important, everything was effectively communicated, and the team had a great attitude during the engagement.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to deliver what was agreed upon without any drama.
